Three Mums Kitchen - Restaurant in Darwin, Australia
Quite overpriced for the plate.
Still the best Banh-Mi in Darwin.
Beautiful beef noodle soup and the Bahn mi was awesome
A fantastic find in the Voyager Arcade, in the Mall
Service was so friendly & quick.Food was delicious, will definitely be back before we leave Darwin
Crusty roll, charred pork bits, flavoursome pate and French carrot, corriander & cucumber make this Bahn Mi a HIT! Friendly, efficient staff in a hidden food court off the mall
The soup is amazing! Give this place a try - very nice people.
Great Vietnamese food - try the Banh Mi roll, grilled pork with chilli, mouth watering good 👍
I always make sure a trip to Darwin includes a visit to Three Mums. Their banh mi is awesome!
Fake Vietnamese cuisine. Ordered Spicy Beef and Pork Soup but there was no pork in it . It’s too bad to enjoy Vietnamese food here.Never come back.
Very average Bánh mì, and its $13. Disappointing that theres no pork belly option either. Not sure what all the hype is about. Their Bún bò Huế (spicy beef & pork noodle soupis nothing special too.
Very good bahn mi amongst other tasty treats
Such a damn good pho, the broth was complex and rich but light. Only needed to add a small bit of chilli and lime and it was perfect. Noodles had great texture and the meat was tasty. Best pho Ive had in Darwin this far. Super friendly guy on the counter too.
The bang mi at this place is supposed to be the best in darwin, but sadly they are not, they are $12.50 each which is on the expensive side, the bbq pork is 50% fat 50% meat ( some people like that sort if thing , they skimp on the pickled vegetables and the pate and even thou I asked for extra chili ( it had no spice at all no where near as good as the ones you get in Vietnam ( excluding price, the quality is just not there)
This is hard to write in contradiction to so many good reviews, so maybe you have a sabotage problem or maybe youve stopped caring, idc, but this was absolutely disgusting. This "meat" is like reheated leftover smoked BBQ from the weekend with an overpowering smoke. There is no way this was cooked to order, its the worst broken rice dish Ive ever encountered, and the dressing/nuoc cham smells toxic. Spring rolls not fresh and soggy as. This is the worst food Ive ever come across in Darwin in 20 years and Ive been to Uncle Sams while sober.
Delicious pho and wonderful friendly service.
What an excellent find. Tucked down a little side mall, the food was excellent.
Its...ok at best. Ill be rating it purely based on the Banh Mi that I had.Foreword: My standards for Banh Mi in general is probably a bit too high considering the amount of it I ate back in HCM city and Sydney. There are 3 main issues with the Banh Mi:1. Its $11, which is insanity. And before you ask, its not like it was a veal schnitzel banh mi or a lobster banh mi (which is sacrilege as it is).2. No option for a traditional pork roll, which is usually the prime differentiator between good and great Vietnamese restaurants. They only provide meat stuffings that are already marinated (a la lemongrass pork and whatnot). This is probably because they dont use patè in their rolls, which is a big no-no for me.3. The quality of the bread was ehhhh... Considering its $11 youd think itd be a bit better. Even the notorious Hong Ha would give this place a run for its money (pun intended).Anyway, the guy who served me was cool at least, so Ill give them credit for that. The Banh Mi gets a 2/5. I havent been back to try anything else. Maybe the pho or bun cha is better? Who knows. But Im incline to give them the benefit of the doubt.3/5
Three Mums Kitchen really hits those Vietnamese flavours to the tee. Its very obvious that Mum is not just in the title, but also in the kitchen. Pork chop was amazingly smoky, the rice was actually broken, pork skewers and wings were punchy with glazed fish sauce tastiness. We could see the banh mi behind the counter were the proper crunchy style, though we didnt try. With Traditional Vietnamese classic music playing inside, you know you will have a brief encounter with Vietnam in Darwin here.
Delicious! Great Bahn mi. Quick service
Tasty and affordable Viet kitchen in ac mall
Darwin is riddled with connecting arcades and Three Mums is a great example of a hidden gem that you may stumble across. The Banh Mi was chockablock loaded with meat surrounded by a crispy and light bread roll. Friendly service and spring rolls served piping hot
AMAZING! Can’t fault them, awesome hidden gem.Broken Rice was delish!
Great staff and well priced good food.
Great, friendly service. Tasty food at reasonable prices. The broken rice dish is a favourite of mine, highly recommended.
Viet Noodle Soup is fabulous. The soup is wonderful.
Good place for having a meal, the pork chop is not that good flavour and dry inside, the coffee is ok.
Fantastic catering options ! I recently used Three Mums Kitchen for some workplace catering. Quality was outstanding and the flavours delicious.
Chicken Pho was sensational, awesome little hidden gem, will be back definitely.
Pretty good Vietnamese food! Love the Bun! Changed my star rating from 3 to 4 as the service is super quick and people are really lovely that serve here!
Delicious Vietnamese food and super nice staff!
Best banh mi roll in Darwin. Absolutely sensational. Amazing, friendly service as well.
The best food, great service n great people. Wonderful environment. Love it.
Very basic venue but the food was delicious. Good variety of genuine curries without frills. Good price. Well worth a try. I will be going back for sure.
Very friendly staff and flexible. They veganized the dish for me. Instead of meat there was really good tofu on my salad. Thanks to the team!! Really delicious.
This small restaurant is brilliant! We come here for lunch from time to time and the food is always so delicious! Its fresh and yum! Staff are always so friendly and prices are great! Do yourself a favour go there and try the menu
Great Vietnamese food, friendly staff, great little spot for quiet lunch
Very welcoming and incredibly friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed the grilled pork on vermicelli noodles. Outstanding for a fast casual restaurant. Satisfying portions, good value and fair prices — especially compared to what you might stumble upon in the Mitchell Street Tourist Precinct just nextdoor. Judging from how busy this place is at lunch, locals love it here. Im only in Darwin for a short visit, but Ill likely come back for another meal before I leave. Update: Came back to try the beef pho noodle soup. Amongst the best Darwin has to offer.
Best beef phở broth (basein Darwin. That alone 5 ⭐️. Wasn’t overly impressed with the beef itself, but I’ll definitely be back to try the Chicken phở !!
The food is fantastic and the service is super friendly. 100% recommend.
Super friendly and real people great customer service. Very good and authentic Vietnamese food would 10 out of 10 recommend
Excellent food just sad I cant get in more as I dont work close by but worth a try if youre able to. Fresh & tasty.
The guys working here were friendly and enthusiastic, and after a quick chat and recommendation I got a pork chop banh mi. FREAKING delicious. Ill definitely be back to try other things off the menu 😚👌
Worst Pho in Darwin. Westernised Asian at best.Don’t know about the other dishes because I doubt I will return.
Taste good, no MSG, I love it. Much better pho than the one in Smith st. ~highly recommend

Very fast service, large serving size, delicious food, good prices. Casual and a lovley spot for a quick lunch.
Food was yummy but there was half hour wait for 2 bowls of soup and rice. Teething problems still.
Its not on the menu but ask for vermicelli noodles (bunwith chargrilled chicken. Omg. Best thing ever. Sweet, sour, salty, spicy, crunchy, slurpy, and absolutely delicious. My go to lunch for the short time I was in Darwin. Take away and go sit in the park near the beach youll have a good time.
