Stylish and unique with an incredible old vibe. Super nice staff and prices relatively cheaper than in other places in a similar bar in Amsterdam. Great location as well!

Beautiful authentic Dutch pub, the stuff is nice and helpful. Because of them, and the inside and the fine drinks worth to visit. If you have Amsterdam City Card you get a free spirit, but worth to stay and drink one (or morebeer too. 🍻

Splendid! Stand-up only spot, but you really can’t miss it if you like booze 😉 in a very quaint part of town. Our waiter was very kind, knowledgeable and we felt very integrated into the local, historical culture.

What a great place. Go here to try jenevir in a most authentic setting. They have plenty of different ages of the drink so you can really get a good overview.Inside the bar is lovely; small and full of atmosphere. Ask the barman what the barrels along the wall are used for; you will have a pleasant surprise!

*Great beer. But the service. Came on a sunny afternoon to have a tipple and something for my driving brother. Still some seats outside we thought wed been lucky. We were served by a grumpy man, talking in Dutch - both of us are foreigners living in different countries but DO speak more than one language. Unfortunately the fluent Dutch was not in our repertoire, but were happy to enjoy the hospitality the barman provided - in Dutch. After couple minutes of being lost in translation, meanwhile we were trying to reach our goal, he explained, the MENU IS IN DUTCH, SO ARE THE BEERS. His fluent English could explain the T&Cs of how we order a beer from a Dutch written menu, if we SPEAK Dutch. So my brother - not being fluent but can pick something from a selection - got me a beer, but for the sake of the quality of service he rather rejected any other well-stocked non-alcoholic drinks. So had the beer drank it quicker than I used the toilet and said a lovely farewell to the place I AM CERTAINLY NOT COMING BACK. And I still say, the beer was grand.*Our whole trip on the Netherlands ended so well, that I need to mention, Dutch hospitality is KING, but if you are not a nationalist, rather find the rest pubs/bars.

A very relaxed atmosphere. The man behind the bar was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was quite small though and we ended up sitting next to a few other couples, which is just not for me. If the weather had been better the outside seating would have been my preferred choice. I would definitely return.

De Drie Fleschjes – known in English as The Three Little Bottles – is a historic Dutch bar located just behind the New Church on the Dam Square.A historical Dutch bar, dark and small, located just behind the New Church and next to the Palace, The Three Little Bottles – in Dutch is a De Drie Fleschjes, it’s one of the oldest watering holes in the city. They have been operating as a ‘tasting room’ since 1650 and doesn’t look much changed. They serve a wide range of traditional Dutch spirit Jenevers (a juniper based drink, a Dutch version of a ginas well as a great range of seasonal rotating beers on tap. This place has a lot of character. We were there last Saturday, as ending of our tour with several expats. It was just amazing how cozy and lovely this place is. Be aware there is a little place, so come with not too many friends ;-beside that you will meet interesting people right there ;-)The Owner and the bar tenders are friendly and welcoming whether you’re a local or a tourist.

Very small bar. Cosy. Very limited seating. Historical building. Lined with century old casks, rented by private families or companies, filled with their favorite concoction. Just for drinks and a small snack. Sip the head off your drink bent over the counter before carrying it away

A must-do if youre in the Palace area - the bartenders are friendly and enthusiastic, and talked me through the traditions of their Genever. Not a ton of seating, even in the early afternoon, so be prepared to stop by, take a drink at the bar, and go. A fun introduction to a Dutch institution.

Typical Dutch winery. I have been here to taste a typical dutch spirit. The atmosphere is rowdy and the place is attended mostly by dutch people. Inside this pub there is a very strong smell of wine, barrels and grape must, and personally it disturbed me a lot. Prices average. Very bad beer.

A must see if you ever visit Amsterdam. They tried hard to keep it as original as possible. That means 18th century pub style. It is sponsored by Bols which is one of the oldest and largest jenever brands. Try a "boswandeling" or a "grave bitter" they are very good. I also recomment the local osseworst as a snack. The crowd is mixed locals and tourist and I regularly meet very interesting people here.

No trip to Amsterdam is complete without a stop here for a few shots of jenever and a beer or two. Each time we have visited here has been extremely interesting principally because of the people we met. They included Dietrich who offered us shots from his personal family barrel, David a wonderful and friendly bartender and a group of five tourists that included a man from Illinois who is good friends with my high school football coach Bob Bogel.
