Three Flames Mongolian Grill - Mongolian barbecue restaurant in Richland, United States
Great food. But they were almost out of tomatoes. The cook was really nice. He asked the girl ahead of me if she wanted more meat in her food. however on mine when he saw I didnt have any meat he asked me if I wanted more noodles
Casual dining, food is picked by customer, cooked in front of them so its fresh, hot and exactly as you wanted.Staff are friendly n prompt.
Delicious fair pricing build your own dish! Cant wait to go back! Great customer service and the servers are super helpful
I’ve seen this place because I live just down the street. I decided to walk in and place smells absolutely amazing. This was my first time here so I really didn’t know what to do. I piled my plate with all the veggies, meat and noddles. They offer a variety of spices and different broths. I got medium spicy and it was the perfect flame. My bowl was cooked in a round flat grill. My gosh I was simply amazed of how delicious my food was cooked to perfection. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Place is very clean and it was pretty busy. I know where to go for a bowls of yumminess. This place is highly recommended.
Enjoy this place every time. Noodles are good quality and of course you make it how you like it so load up on the sauces! I get an XL to go and always have lunch for tomorrow.
One of the best Mongolian joints in the state. Atmosphere is nice and calm, staff is always friendly and their chefs are on point. The main difference between these places always comes down to the quality of food they are using to make their dishes...this place always has fresh quality food at your fingertips. Ive eaten Mongolian BBQ all over the USA and this place is among its best.
Ive gotten a stomach ache/diarrhea everytime Ive ate here. Im not saying its food poisoning but something in their spices always upsets the ole G.I. track.
Servers are very polite and will help you at all times. The food is good, you get to choose what goes on it, and watch it get made. WARNING the spicy is incredibly spicy. I asked for a little spicy, and my nose was very runny, and my lips felt like they were on fire. Pretty good though.
Perfect lunch, love to go here when Im craving real food, fresh vegetables and you get to pick exactly what is in your food. The service can be a little non traditional but is still always solid. If you go, and you ask the cooks not to water down you sauce on the grill they are 100% cool with it!
Is it really that hard to just cook it in the sauce I put on my own dish. It doesnt matter how much sauce you put on it, or what flavors because THEY PUT A GALLON OF FREAKING TERIYAKI SAUCE WITHOUT YOU ASKING!!! And if you ask for no teriyaki they LITERALLY PUT A GALLON OF WATER ON IT THEN PUSH ALL OF YOU SAUCE OFF OF THE FREAKING BURNER!!!!!!!!! SO YOU CAN EITHER HAVE TERIYAKI OR FRIKN WATER FLAVORED NOODLES!!!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!
My husband and I were in the mood for Mongolian, we went to Three Flames...we hadnt been in in awhile.I was not impressed. Its the same old, out dated place, that has a dirty feel. The food wasnt good.I wont be back.
Great Mongolian grill, you choose size and ingredients. Meat, veggies, whatever you want. Wide variety of seasonings. Skillfully cooked on traditional Mongolian grill.
Good food and service but prices are very high. $15.00 for the medium bowl plus ice tea is a little much.
Wonderful service and great food! You put your own bowl together and they cook it right in front of you on a big metal circle. Nice atmosphere, too. Its my favorite place to go for a good meal.
Great food, great variety in food, very nice and friendly staff.
This used to be my favorite restaurant in Richland. Still an okay Mongolian place, but the customer service has gone downhill recently and Im not sure if they did something to the soup recipe but it seems to taste different.
I have to have a craving. The noodles taste different to me. But it is good for a healthy meal. Not to expensive 🤗
We love a good Mongolian grill, and this place holds its own. Fresh ingredients and good sauces, with plenty of heat.
Consistent good food and experience with this place. Its fun to watch them cook it right in front of you.
Always had a great meal eating here, although I came in a bit late when they were starting to close up, when they take ladles out and whatnot. Definitely going again though, service was great and friendly
Hands down the best Mongolian in the tri cities. I have tried them all profusely. Can confirm its the best. Do yourself a favor and douse all your food in sauce and dont get more the 1 and a half cups scoops of spice
I havent been here in a while, but we had a small gathering to meet with a recently retired coworker. We used the "meeting room" in the back that I didnt even know existed. It appears to be perfect for gatherings of 20 to 30 folks.Meanwhile, the food was top-notch, as always. Since its a Mongolian Barbeque, you fill your own bowl with raw items, and everything appeared fresh and tasty on the cold table. The vegetables were nicely chopped and cooled, while the meats were properly frozen, and in bite-sized pieces, which makes for a nicer meal (at least to me.The cook did a fine job, and the "hot" spice that I asked for was just right. All in all, a fine visit, and I look forward to returning again.
One of my favorite places to eat! The floor can be sticky but they are attentive and pay attention closely. If someone else gets hot sauce they are sure to wash the grill well before they go onto the next person!
Food was overcooked and dry. New staff i think. Very hot inside of the building. They were working hard at keeping the resturant cool with a mobile A/C. Staff was very sweet tho.
Great food. And the cooks were joking around with us while our food was on the grill. Really made the experience stand out.
Enjoyed it. Get rice and egg drop soup free with the meal and drink.
Great food, great selection on items to get. If somethings not there, make sure to ask!! Most likely they have it in the back. I would really like them to have Udon noodles but other than that its amazing.
Fresh and healthy. They have the flavor and the heat if you like it spicy. A medium plate is around 10 dollars but you also get rise and soup. The soup is very tasty. So, you end up spending a little more than other places but you get plenty of food or you can share.
It was good but seemed a little pricey. Definitely not the best Mongolian Ive had but I did still enjoy my meal. Not bad but if Im craving Mongolian again Ill probably see what else there is locally.
So good!! Forgot to take a photo before I started. Restaurant was clean, staff was nice and friendly, and food was on point. I dont like my food too spicy, but they will add extra hot sauce if thats your thing!
This is another lunch favorite, esp. when Im trying to avoid carbs. We get Mongolian bowls with no noodles and I always have plenty to take home for a lunch tomorrow too.Again, weve never had a bad experience here. The food is great, they offer many different selections and spices, and the price is good for lunch (with leftovers).Whenever friends suggest Mongolian, this is where we go!
Food is good. You can choose your own flavors and what you want in your bowl. The waitresses are fairly nice.
I go here semi-regularly for lunch during the work week. Its a fairly easy and consistent option. The food always appears fresh, the staff courteous without being overbearing. I wont say its the best, cleanest Mongolian place ever, but its a good one.
I had a hankering for Mongolian grill cooking a few months ago, and so I went on a quest to try all the ones in town. 3 Flames was the last one I tried, and so happens to be the best one, in my opinion. Raw ingredients are about typical in most Mongolian grills, so it is the sauces that set it apart. 3 Flames offers the most sauces, even curry and coconut milk. Delicious! Service was good, attentive but not intrusive. Facility was also clean, well maintained. I will return for sure!
This rating is purely for the service. The food is excellent! But I had to use Spanish just to make the cook understand that my wife didnt want her food spicy. Without my spanish, she wouldnt have been able to eat her food. I am all for Spanish as our countrys second language, but it isnt yet.
Food was yummy, and the cook was cool. Service was really, really slow, though. We had to ask for drinks about three times.
I like Mongolian in general, but this wasnt the best experience Ive had with both food and service. The food was okay, but the teriyaki sauce that they added at the end overpowered the other flavors. The wait staff also wasnt responsive to requests for more water and drinks.
"DISAPPOINTMENTS ALL OVER THIS MEAL TICKET, " (SAVE YOUR MONEY AND B.B.Q. INSTEAD 😎...Just Finished Dining With my Girlfriend at this establishment about an hour ago and shes still a LITTLE bit livid about the whole exspierience and OVERALL quality and cost for a low budget ran semi-quasi Mongolian grill 🤑. *TWO ADULTS, AND THE AVERAGE DECENT SIZE BOWL OF VEG. AND NOODLES, TWO WATERS FOR THE GRAND TOTAL OF $51./50.PRETTY MUCH OVERRATED (HIGH CLASS TOP-O-RAMEN, AND Vegetables 💩 Learned our lesson I guess for Now..." ALWAYS BE LEARY OF REST . THAT DONT HAVE A MENU, AND DONT EVEN POST PRICES ANYWHERE!!!!"👎👎
Absolutely amazing food, healthy ingredients, and served so fast, we had to blown on the food just to cool it down. This place is a great "Tri-Cities secret!"
Great selection of ingredients cooked really nicely in front of you. They do a good job getting everything cooked evenly. Service is attentive but not intrusive.
Decent food, swift service. I seems, however, that no matter how you prepare your food it all tastes the same. Prices have crept up over the last few years.
Its very average Mongolian BBQ which is to say it has all the usual assortment of meats, veggies, and sauces. The problem (and it is not exclusive just to this placeis that they water down the food when cooking it which essentially rinses off most of the sauce. The end result is not bad, but certainly not as good as it could be. The prices are fine. The staff is friendly. The establishment is nothing special. There are better Mongolian options....but not in TC. So I guess "average" is about as good as it gets until somebody new comes along and does it better.
Food is always delicious and they make it just how youd like it. Fair warning, if youre allergic to something best not try it since they cook everything on a giant flat heated surface so food orders do mix up
Wow. Im disappointed in myself for waiting so long to give these guys a review. Ive been eating at Three Flames for years, and its far-and-away my favorite place to get Mongolian food. The ingredients are always fresh and high-quality, and the staff is super friendly and accommodating.
We walked in at 6:30 on Friday to have dinner as a family, we were greeted immediately by the hostess and led to our booth. The selection of vegetables and meat was good, though a few trays were completely empty, but they were replaced once we pointed it out. The cook didnt soak our food with water while cooking like a few other Mongolian restaurants in the area do, he added just enough liquid, not too much. Overall a good experience.
The place is clean and has a nice selection of choices. One of the few places that uses the right kind of noodle for Mongolian Food. When I do sauces, I use a mix that I came up with years ago and have done at every place since. But here the food had a weird taste to it when it was cooked....I think they use a chemical to clean the veggies because they all tasted like cleaner.
What a disappointment. We trid to eat the meal and just couldnt do it!! We did not stay and the lovely hostess understood and she said we didnt have to pay. What they serve is not Mongolian Grill. It is a form of a top ramen noodle mix.
Always busy at lunch, but worth the wait. The place is good. They recently changed something in the egg drop soup, and it is awesome.
The service was a little slow, but they were slammed during lunch hour. However, the food, the chefs, and the waiters were all amazing. I totally recommend eating here!
This place and Woos Teriyaki are the only places at which I can get actually spicy food, also the cooks reaction to me asking for four scoops of the spicy paste was hilarious ("hot" is one scoop).
