I really like the BBQ but some are really hard like rock 🪨 noodles are good but spicy for my mum drinks are good too

Best place ever to have best food in christchurch if you are after chinese food and kebabs. Every food is delicious as and best service too. Its a must visit place. The food here reminds of my hometown in Nepal. Thank you team for your awesome food and service 💯💯⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Authentic Chinese barbeque, wide ranging selection for grills, well priced and good portion. Moved to 88 hayton road in December 2021. Fully operating now with alcohol licence in July 2022. Family business. Super friendly owners and their kids, quick table service, with private rooms available via booking. Colouring book and pen for younger children available upon request. None spicy grill option available for children, but spicy ones are much tastier. Highly recommend.

I went there when they were still in Riccarton, but some time ago I went to Wigram, where they are now. They were still renovating when I went, and there wasnt too much space. About the styrofoam boxes the food was served in, since they used to have a lot of china before, Im sure they have their reasons. The place is run by mostly a mother and her children - theyre all very friendly :The food is definitely good as well! I hope to see what the restaurant will look like in the future.

The worse Chinese restaurant I ever had food in New Zealand. Not even worth a single dollar. They dont follow any hygiene requirement there. Stay away from this place.

Food tasted okay, but my Chinese friend was disappointed. Food presentation was poor as they were all plated on disposable styrofoam boxes. Service was okay.

If you are a Korean food person, it is a good choice for you and it is cheap.

If you can overlook the entry and decor thats quite run down, then the food is awesome!

this place used to be the best for Chinese style BBQ skewers, but ever since theyve changed the menu they started selling them for $4-5 each... how can you justify $5 for a chicken wing? WONT BE BACK

Appreciate much that this restaurant close late. Good for having some drinks and the skewers plus those spices are so good.

Had dinner with friends, wasnt too crowded. Not very easy to spot, so use google maps if its your first time here. My top favourite recommendations are tender checked skewers, baby octopus skewers, chicken fried noodles, chilli chicken stir fry (this is very hot).And the show stopper was the fried icecream. Damn! Must try! Highly recommend the spot. Friendly staff.

Great food and great service with an awesome menu. It’s tucked away and hard to find but once you find it you’ll always want to go back. Skewers are a fun way to try different things on the menu.

Situated in the back of the sports building, and old bar is semi-converted, but still represents a bar, into a Chinese Restaurant. The food is legit Chinese and very tasty.

Good Chinese style skewers! I think it is a bit heavy on the spices and as a result you need to drink a lot of water to wash down the sodium in mouth. This place is tucked away in an old building....great value and average service

Great place! At first we couldn’t find it, as it is tucked away through a driveway, if it hadn’t been for google maps we wouldn’t have found it... anyway we went in and were welcome by a friendly kid waiter and then probably his dad and mum who run the restaurant...the food was delicious and reasonably priced...the building is a bit dated but the food and the friendly service make up for everything else... highly recommended 😊

Personally speaking, the restaurant is nice. The food is fine and service staff are nice and friendly. But the lady behind the counter is impatient and always keeps a long face to Chinese customers, which annoys me a little.

We are regulars and i mean REGULARS!! 😊 at first we had no idea what we were ordering, a hot pot with meats and a few kebabs was just a starter for us, a test of what we could try. Almost a year later going once or twice a week we love the place!! The owners know our order and greet us with smiles and the staff are always happy. Must try is the chicken frame and double pork. In fact try it all!!! You will not regret it.

The wait staff were fast and efficient as we got the food almost instantaneously which was great with young kids as we were in and out! Highly recommend

It is really nice Chinese Restaurant. You can enjoy the casual Chinese food for drinking. And also formal type of food tastes is good as well. They are opening the restaurant 2AM so you can enjoy the meals and drinks until late night.

Always great kebabs and affordable hot pot! Definitely recommend the Chicken Frame when craving something spicy and exotic!

I wish to give them less than one star, but .........well this restaurant serve chinese style BBQ, it is really expensive. And that is not real chinese BBQ, what a shame, they shouldnt fry everything before BBQ them, it tastes like junk. They should use charcoal from the first minute, I know it will cost them more time and money.

Its ok. food is good but we had to wait 15 min to get our table cleaned and another 30 min to get the food. Why is there only 2 girls working in front on Friday night?

Skewers and hotpot are amazing! Hotpot has three sections with different broths in each. One spice level for all skewers so make sure everyone is on the same level

Lots of Chinese style street food. 麻辣烫, 羊肉串, 麻辣火锅, 烧烤 😍 and many more. 👍This is one of two places that do the crowds favourite, BBQ lamb (羊肉串other meat skewers. The other place is Celines Bar and Restaurant (大本營on Manchester Street.Good service from the boss while the service from the staff is gradually improving compared to my last visit.Would I go back? Yes but not every week or regularly.
