Thistle Trafalgar Square in Andkhvoy

Cant beat the location. Central to many major landmarks, shopping, and transportation to get anywhere else in the city. Room was (mostlyclean (housekeeping skipped our room 1 dayand comfortable and staff was friendly. I wish there were a concierge or at least desk staff who knew the area, though. We asked for recommendations to a chip shop one night and the clerk went onto Google to find one. We went and it was an empty storefront. Another night, we asked for a place with late-night fare and were directed to McDonalds, of all places, and told it was open 24 hrs. It was not--it was closed at 10pm. We wouldnt have bothered looking for one if there had been 24hr room service, as is stated repeatedly on their website. Then again, that may have been a blessing , as the food here left a lot to be desired. Breakfast was well-stocked but scrambled eggs were a mushy mess & fried eggs were drenched in grease. Outside of breakfast, the only other food they serve is pizza, which was a charred, blackened mess when it was finally served (and took nearly a 1/2 hour).Overall, great place for sleeping or just recharging for a bit before heading out into the city but the lack of anything from the most basic amenities doesnt justify the £250/night price.

This hotel was located in a great area! And less than a 20 minute walk to most of Londons monuments. Right next to beautiful Chinatown! English breakfast was delicious and included in our reservation. The size of the room was pretty good for 2 people! And it had a great view, would only ever stay here again.

I had a really good stay at the hotel, and I have to add that I was visiting for work. It was comfortable, breakfast was good, staff was super helpful (thank you Elizabeth for your help in checking me in a bit earlier, as I had a work meeting and really needed that shower!). Thistle will be my new regular haunt every time I visit London!

Definitely got my moneys worth. Amazing food delivered in good time to your room. A walking distance to most Theatres and restaurants. Will definitely be staying here again.

Lovely stay here at this hotel tonight! My son who is an international social media star however couldn’t stay there for long as he described the experience as “a joyful and fun time with his dear mother whose room he believed didn’t exsist” but unfortunately he had to leave as his passion was else where and he will always put that first. But overall great experience! 10/10

Location is good, and service is generally good - but rooms are small and difficult to manouver! They don’t supply stools for luggage, nor stability bars in shower for elderly guests, and my first time in 78 years that a hotel would not allow a late checkout for 1 room, even though we stayed in 3 rooms for 3 nights. With the selection of hotels in London, I would not come back here.

Hotel is in a brilliant location, central to everything we needed to get to. The breakfast was also very good with plenty of choice. Staff were friendly.The rooms really let this hotel down for me, we paid extra for a premium room, it was fairly clean but could do much better, the room and bathroom were quite dusty and the coffee machine was not cleaned properly. It was also in need of an update, the carpet was covered in stains.I know you pay a premium for location but for the price we paid I was expecting better from the room.
