Its very very expensive and the quality is very less service. Im not happy.

Pool and fitness Center were insisted to my travel agent. Found to be fine. Peaceful stay. Pleasant guys.

Super chilled hotel. The floors all have different looks and feels to them. They have a maze like structure which can get tricky if you dont know the map. The gym and pool facilities are amazing. The breakfast options are versatile!! Its honestly a great place

Stayed here for a couple of nights last week. The room itself was quite small and could probably have done with being g cleaned a bit better. Lots of dust and bathroom not the cleanest. Food is ok but not worth the prices they charge. Much better options across London in this price range

A great place to stay. It was close to two underground stations which meant getting to the places we wanted to visit. It was also close to Kings Cross which was really helpful for our arrivals and departures. Breakfast was buffet style and gluten free was available as well as non dairy. I would happily stay there again and thoroughly recommend it.

This Hotel is ok, I have expected more serviceThe rooms are super old, not in a good condition. You can seriously sleep somewhere else for less money in a better setting.This is Def. not a recommendation to stay here.The Breakfast Buffet was very poor and small. They did not even realize that somebody burned a toast, so the whole lobby smelled burned, nobody took action on it. So I stood up and made it happen, very very strange service mindset.

Pizza was stonebaked and tasted amazing. Breakfast was brilliant. Pool was nice (smallish, but none of the other local hotels had one, so full marks for fitting it in). Gym was crowded with equipment, but fine as not crowded with people! Bedroom was spotless, furniture was a little older, soft furnishings were newer, bright and overall the room was pleasant.

I only stayed for one night, but I thought it was a very nice hotel. There were plenty of places for food and drink in the surrounding area but fortunately I felt this hotel was a bit out of the way meaning that it wasnt too noisy throughout the night. The room I stayed in was an executive king which was very spacious with a comfortable bed. I do think the look of the hotel can be seen as slightly dated, but this wasnt an issue for me. I had breakfast at the hotel. The wide selection available was very appealing, but unfortunately I wasnt very hungry so I couldnt try as much as I would have liked. The staff were very friendly, and I interacted with some of the other guests staying at the hotel who were also very friendly. Overall it was a very good stay and I would be happy to return if I find myself in the area.

The location is wonderful, everything is within a 10-15 minute cab ride away. The breakfast buffet is very good. The room were clean and well kept. Single beds were a little annoying but for a weekend trip good enough.

Nice hotel, rooms are very warm. The pool and gym was nice too. There is a bar just past reception and getting a drink is quite slow. Never tried the main bar because the other bar had music playing and sport on the tvs. Never tried any food because there is plenty of cheaper places around that are nice.

Good price, nice rooms, gave me a double bed for a room with 2 singles. Pool is quite nice but the hot tub was full the whole time I was there. Theres a steam room and a sauna, changing room, showers. Nice big smart TV in the room, free fast WiFi with email address. Regular room service. Only issues were that the flush didnt work well and the 24 hour room service wasnt available. Expensive drink prices in the night. You may have to go through doors that say keep closed to get to your room

This is the most fabulous hotel I have ever been to. Nice clean room and leasure facilities including Sauna, jacuzzi, pool and Gym. Excellent customer service from both the reservation and customer service teams. Overall, for me this Hotel should be rated as 5 stars Hotel rather than 3. I strongly recommend that every should visit this hotel and enjoy.I would like to thank Miriam from the reservation team and all customer service team for making my Valantine eve stay in the hotel more enjoyable

Very beautiful hotel with very nice and helpful staff. I personally liked how accommodating the hotel was and the leisure facilities are great and clean. A little out of the way from the main tourist attractions but within walking distance from the underground rail services and taxi are common to come across. I recommend you get accustomed to using the tube as fast as you can to make your experience extremely fulfilling. Great for couples

Lovely friendly staff, even gave us a free room upgrade despite declining the first offer. Room service we ordered past 10 o clock and they couldnt be more obliging. We will be coming back here when we visit London for a weekend again. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

The first room we went to had horrible carpet stains and plastic toilet paper wrapping on the bed! I called to complain and we were upgraded to a bigger and cleaner room. The rooms could do with a sprucing up but the beds were comfortable and the tv was nice and big. The gym was great and I would go back. Reception were helpful and I told them that the carpet in the first room needed to be steam cleaned!!

Wanted to love this hotel and would have given it more stars had the people in the reception desk been more welcoming and friendlier. Hotel in good location close to several places to eat and close to public transportation. Room had a great size, comfortable bed and good sized bathroom as well. Like I said, I would have given it 5 stars if people working at the reception desk had been more welcoming. When I arrived to checkin the person assisting us was not so welcoming and the same happened when we checked out. Every time I had a question and approached the front desk it seemed like they did not want to be bothered.. but aside from that, the hotel experience with the room and accommodation itself was good.

I was so pleasantly surprised by what I got for the price I paid. The room was spacious and cleaned every single day. There was loads of choice for breakfast. The pool and sauna were so nice to pop down to at the end of a busy day. There’s a really nice restaurant 3 minutes away called Harlem Soul. It took us about 20 minutes by tube/bus to get into the centre of London. Definitely going to stay there again!

It was ok, friendly staff and good check in experience. Room small but adequate, a bit tired. Would not come with children as people coming home all hours of the night, think more of a hen/stag or night out type place. Hotel pool very nice but small, leisure member of staff was lovely, he couldnt be more helpful.

Unfortunately, this is a strong example of where lack of investment in management and training has taken its toll. The restaurant evening staff were rude, had very little understanding of allergens, and no concept of time it seemed. When the food finally arrived it was nice, but the sheer wait and lack of communication were a total disaster. We waited 25 minutes to be told sorry we dont have that and a similar situation with regards to the wait between courses. Even paying the bill was a fiasco.The heat in the entire hotel was almost unbearable, for mid-september the heating doesnt need to be on so high that its stifling.Im glad work paid for this hotel as a business trip as it was very disappointing.The saving grace was the catering for the boardroom meeting during the day and breakfast food and staff.

Comfortable, clean and quiet hotel. Stayed in a deluxe room on the 2nd floor, breakfast was well received every morning with lots of choice. Stayed on business but very happy with my stay here. Room was air conditioned with usual amenities and a large TV mounted on the wall which could easily be moved.

The hotel is a bit old, but clean. The one person room is small but since you spend most of the time sleeping, it is no problem. The personnel is very friendly, the breakfast really fine. The location is good as well, only 1,5 mile from the Tower Bridge.

Main areas are very well presented but rooms feel dated and faulty air conditioning. Not sure its worth the money charged.Edit- I have now dropped my review to 2 stars as they failed to record properly I have a meal allowance on my booking sent in by my company so I have had issues and had to make a personal payment, I have checked my booking reservation sent in and it confirms the allowance with payment details, not worth the hassle of trying to sort it out with the reception team.

Nice staff. We do appreciate Mollies welcome and her colleagues.Nice rooms but I would get more broadcast British TV. We also have a little problem. We were a couple and until the last day we didnt get two towels (one for each). Even so, nice gym, swimming pool and restaurants. Def, no regrets!

We stayed here as part of a theatre break. The bed was comfy, the room was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. A ten minute walk to the tube. The only thing I didnt like was it was very hot in the room, there was air conditioning but it was too noisy to sleep when it was on.

Nice hotel in an easy to get to location from old Street tube (around a ten minute walkwas easy to find and had a big sign outside so you couldnt miss it / walk past it. Reception area was well staffed and attentive. Received a complimentary upgrade upon checking in to rooms to include rooms with air conditioning which was appreciated given it was a warm weekend in London. The facilities were nice: swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and swimming pool and whilst the services were used it never felt over busy so you could use the facilities fairly easily. There was also a gym which looked like it had a fair amount of equipment and again didnt seem too busy. Cost was around what you would expect to pay peak season in London for a room. Breakfast was additional but didnt pay for this service. Lifts were very quick and clean. Hotel looked reasonably well kept/ maintained.

Room extremely small, no air conditioning and window didnt open. Noise travels between rooms. Have stayed here before in main building but the rooms in the other tower are extremely basic. Nice view of a room being renovated from my window. I didnt get stabbed though so thats a plus

This is a reasonable priced hotel located in London which is perfect for a weekend breaks.The rooms are spacious and nice, they are a little dated (80s fan on the ceilingbut they are just what you need.The spa and gym are included and are a great start our end to the day. The reception is big and spacious with a restaurant and separate bar.

Room was very dated and small but clean and comfortable and air con worked. TV picture was terrible and way behind what one expects these days. Huge 70s style ceiling fan which could have been fun but didnt work. Breakfast was good and staff on reception friendly.

Made a reservation and paid in advance through a booking portal. Upon checking in, we were told that the room wasnt paid. When we showed receipt of payment we were told that it wasnt their problem and that we were to contact the reservation website ourselves. Of course we straightened things out, but the staff was most unfriendly and unhelpful. The hotel itself is just ok, definitely not worth the price. Bathroom is very run down and the shower is so low you have to crouch (and no anti slip mats readily available). Location only good thing.

Went here for a wedding. Nice venue inside. Good decor. The building looks a bit tired from the outside but it was winter so probably looks better in the spring /summer.Good amount of parking available although car park tarmac a bit worse for wear. A problem when its raining. You require a ticket to enter the car park which is swapped for a ticket to let you out so you dont have to pay.Customer service was good with the brief encounter at the reception desk. But I cant say more than that.Yes, I would consider it as a good location for a wedding

The public space was lovely and reception pleasant, but the room was absolutely dismal. The furniture and walls were in dreadful condition, the room was small and cramped, and even with the radiator turned off I was roasting (yet it was winter outside). No aircon, and fluorescent strip lighting above the window. I literally cant believe they sold this room for almost £150. A budget hotel or hostel would have been preferable. I only stayed one night for work so didnt raise my concerns with reception, but if youre looking for a longer term stay keep looking.

Comfortable clean rooms with all.the usual amenities friendly helpful staff especially receptionists and the leisure centre staff. The pool was a bit small but otherwise good with jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms. We got a good deal for our room. Would definitely visit again.

Good hotel. The rooms are of a mixed standard - some can be good and some can be a bit tatty. No air conditioning in the standard rooms which is disappointing. Staff are always friendly and helpful.Best thing about the hotel? Breakfasts are exceptional.

Not bad, but old furniture and fixed shower so its a bit inconvenient to use it. Breakfast is really really good. Room was clean; staff are polite.Advice: book your room through their website and youll get breakfast included, which is great!

Lovely hotel. Really nice room, free lemon iced water as reception. Nice touch!We rang for more coffee, sugar etc twice and both times came within 10mins.We had room service and was delicious! Served hot and looked as good as it tasted!The pool and sauna, steam room etc is definitely worth a visit!

Decent value for money. Stayed here for one night in a deluxe double room (the standard ones dont have air conditioning). The decor was basic but it had everything needed and was very comfortable and generally clean. The food was also surprisingly good, both at room service and at breakfast. The staff were also really helpful.The downsides:The air conditioner in the room had seen better days; it was loud and dusty. We tried to go to the pool, but it was too busy so we werent allowed in - I think its also open to non-hotel guests which makes it crowded. From what I could see it looked nice, but it was small.As a Londoner, I didnt find it difficult to get to by bus, but I think tourists may find it a bit confusing. Its also known to be a bit of a dodgy area so Id advise any visitors to keep their wits about them and not walk around with their phones out.

I was disappointed by this hotel.The check in proses was slow, the member of staff who checked me in asked if I had been before, I said I hadn’t but he still didn’t pass on useful information about the facilities.The room itself was adequate, not as clean as it could have been but ok. The lights were flaky with one or two flickering. The blackout curtains were not installed correctly so in the morning there was lots of light.It was very hot and the fan provided was noisy.Breakfast was nice, they were again slow at getting people in and there was a queue all the time I was eating breakfast. More instructions on the coffee machine might be nice.If this was the closest hotel to a meeting I might stay again but I would look at others first.

Spent two nights at the hotel. Had problems with our water. They change our rooms, upgraded us, and gave us free breakfast for two mornings. Nothing too much trouble. Friendly staff. Great breakfast, lots of choice. Only ten minute walk to old Street tube. Would recommend, and competitive price. Best to be in the main hotel check when booking.

Room OK for London. Dirty carpet but otherwise fairly clean. Incredibly hot throughout with no air con and windows screwed shut. Prepare to bake if temperature is over 10 degrees. Good breakfast- a buffet style where the food is actually hot. Staff friendly and helpful.

Spacious rooms with complimentary mini bar. The rooms are rather tired and in need of refurbishment, especially the noisy air con. On the plus side, the rooms were very clean and breakfast was great. Staff very nice, especially Molly on reception. The one major blip was that we requested the mini bar was topped up after breakfast with cokes/water and this did not happen. Overall good experience, however it was a business booking....I wouldnt book it for a city break as it is clearly geared towards the business traveller.

Stayed here quite few times now, so yes its a good hotel. The room is a little small but its single occupancy, bonus has a bath. Visited the gym for the first time and its not 2 bad. May be a bit crammed if busy but hey its a hotel gym. Staff always seem to be happy enough, bar seems moody but service is quick and inattentive. So to sum up for the money at its location you can go wrong.

First impressions were not that great as I arrived and got given a room which frankly smelt of death and mold. This mould started and triggered my asthma and I was quite uncomfortable. On closer inspection I could see black mould growing on the window sills and walls near the window. Also the bathroom tiles were moldy too. My the room probably just needed some new paint and disinfecting. I complained immediately and got given a new room and an upgrade which I can not fault,. The breakfast was what I expected. The place is actually good for a three star as it has a leisure facility too. Just shame that the staff could not check the room before handing out to clients. I would have given it a 1 star if they didnt upgrade me but the customer service resolution is whats saves it. I was actually contemplating not to complain but if this actually happens to you I would definitely speak to the hotel manager. Also the bed in the upgraded room was broke too but I just couldnt be bothered to complain anymore...

Nice hotel for a good price in central London. The staff were all very friendly, breakfast was nice and the shower was good. The bed was comfy and the air con (not available in all rooms I dont thinkworked well. My only negatives were that its quite a long walk from the nearest tube stop and that there are remarkably few plug sockets in the room (had to charge my phone at the opposite side of the room to the bed). Overall a good experience and would happily stay there again.

Friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel. The room was a perfect size and very comfortable. The bathroom had a bath/ shower which was excellent for me but could be a problem for more elderly visitors (although Im sure theres a room suitable for everyone).Took a dip in the pool in the afternoon, then relaxed in the steam room. Wonderful.The buffet breakfast was expansive and had a huge range of fruit, cooked meats, eggs, porridge, yoghurt, cereals etc etc.I had a very relaxing stay here and used its location to easily get around London using the tube and buses from Old Street.I felt very well looked after and would highly recommend it.

Stayed for a Saturday night. The reception were very kind and helpful at all times. During the heat wave, the only option of cooling was a wall mounted fan. Air conditioning would have made it 5 stars for the review. The hotel bar was open till late I think it closed at around 0230-0300. This was a nice touch to see the end of the night. The breakfast was self service buffet, that was a very in depth selection with all the options being fresh. I did not have the time to enjoy the amenities such as spa/gym or pool etc. Overall if in the local area overnight again, I would come back. Maybe asking if there is an option for AC next time though. Overall good, clean and decorative hotel. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for 11days. The rooms are of decent size.. Not too small. Bathrooms r neat n have a shower n tub. Hot water was available at all times. Towels r provided along with other toiletries. The house keeping was good too. We had breakfast every morn. Though the food menu was repetitive it was good. Overall a good decent place to stay. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were also were helpful at all times. I would definitely come stay here again.

I am currently staying at the hotel with my colleagues whilst attending a software development conference. As I write this review I am currently in my bed and I have to say it is very comfortable here. I am currently staying in a single room which I believe is of an appropriate size. Facilities include swimming pool sauna hot tub, I have forgotten my swimming trunks although my client in for me there are of appropriate size and quality. There is a safety box provided in my room along with additional dowels hello iron and ironing board. The bathroom consists of a shower and bath along with the other usual facilities including power socket for shaver and beard trimmers. The weather in the area today was quite hot and the staff have provided me with a fan to help with the situation. Having inspected the room and all its facilities, linen and towels provided are very clean and of very high standards. Reception staff were very helpful during our late check in. Breakfast that is served in the morning is top notch. Breakfast options include cereal porridge full cooked English breakfast fruits tea coffee and various juices. Overall this is a great hotel to stay at one that I would very highly recommend to anyone.

I stayed here on business in January. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The communal areas, foyer etc. were all clean and of a good, modern standard. The room however was poor. Wallpaper was peeling off, the bedside table was hanging off the wall on one side so couldnt be used and the bathroom was good enough but old and tired. Also the one morning I got up to use the gym and pool, the attendant hadnt turned up and there was a queue of people going up the stairs waiting for it to open. After 10 minutes I gave up. Let me finish with a positive as the restaurant was excellent, especially for breakfast, service was a little slow on the Sunday evening, but in the morning everything was quick and efficient with a great variety and a really good coffee machine. I also liked that there was a selection of fruit, sandwiches, drinks etc., that could be purchased to any time of day to take with you.All-in-all, Id be wanting a better room if I was to stay again and I wouldnt choose this hotel over another on the basis of the gym/pool.

I had a very pleasant two and a half week stay. A little bumpy checking in but other than that my room was reasonably big, comfy king size bed on the 5th floor. The room was extremely well insulated from outside noise and the curtains blocked out the early morning sun (4am when I was thereso I got plenty of sleep. The breakfast service was excellent every morning, although in busier mornings the cleanliness of the buffet area slipped quiet a bit. The staff are fantastic. Really friendly. Over all it is a really nice hotel.

The room was great, everything you need including iron and board decent size TV with good channels. Bed was comfy bathroom was old but smart and very clean. Located in the Barbican its just minutes to anywhere really good links. The breakfast is really good and it set us up for the afternoon so just had to get a main meal. It has a swimming pool, jacuzzi steam room and sauna. Overall a really nice hotel and a brilliant stay.
