10-12 Warwick St, Worthing BN11 3DL, Lancing
Traditional pub with a typical menu of British favourites, pool table and occasional live music.
Friendly pub with helpful bar staff.Excellent burgers good value for money.Steak on skewer however was tough.Worth a visit
Very good service, very good quality ales and other libations. Good atmosphere!
Absolute belter. Lovely staff, Ash and the team. Special shout out to Milly, Danny and Nathan. Great atmosphere and amazing live bands
Went in the early PM and had chips and drinks! Both rather niceEDIT: Have come back here a few times since my gf moved to Worthing and itβs excellent every time. Thank you to Nathan, Millie, Ash and the team!!
The food is good value although the table ordering is rubbish if you cant get on the WiFi. Nice lunch though
I come here loads and always enjoy it. The team are mostly young and super friendly. Couple of new girls Lara and Angel have stood out recently with great customer service skills. If you want to come somewhere where thereβs an epic selection of gins (something like 60 different ones!), and lots to do like play darts or pool or have a boogie on a Sat night this is your place! I never used to drink lager but I have to suggest the Flint Eye if you like something refreshing!
Had a great meal here, food was delicious and looked amazing.Canβt wait to watch the World Cup games here!!
Amazing customer service, canβt wait to go back again and meet all the naughty lads at the bar πππ
Amazing pub, great drinks, games out the back are sick
Getting better especially when sport is on mute instead of nursing home volume.Even makes you want to stay for food and listen to music.
Amazing pub with great service. Loved the green room with the variety of games. Great staff especially Danny and Milly
Nathan was brilliant. Lovely atmosphere, great games room, decent music. Must visit.
Awesome pub, massive inside and absolutely quality choice of drinks π
Had a lovely meal at Thieves Kitchen. Nathan was really attentive nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend
Amazing food and fabulous staff at the Thieves Kitchen. Especially Nathan for his attentiveness which made us feel very welcome π
Excellent food. Very good prices and lovely, friendly staff. (Chanelwould be a regulars but only visiting the area. Thanks very much π
Best pub in Worthing, the Greene room has a great atmosphere with loads of different games and good range of drinks. The vip area has a bottomless fridge and looks amazing. The staff are so friendly, also definitely recommend the new small plates deals!
Good atmosphere! Decent bar for the evening with friends. Highly recommend. Thank you to Nathan
On a Sat eve it was very lively, unfortunately the Steak & Ale Pie was a bit over cooked so took the crust home for the dog to eat.
Great pub food. Sharing platters are great for groups and the staff are always friendly and welcoming
Great meal and staff very friendly would go there again next time Im up in Leeds.
I came to the Thieves Kitchen today with a friend for lunch afterseveral disappointments elsewhere. The food was delicious(particularly the ham and eggsand the service very good. Willdefinitely be coming again. Highly recommended.
Best pub Ive been to in Worthing. Go there regularly to enjoy live sport and often music in a place with a fantastic atmosphere. Great food, highly recommend the burgers and reasonably priced premium standard drinks. Have to go there.
Always a lovely cold pint in The Thieves! Greene King seem to be good at this. Roasts are great and always sell out fairly early, and as someone who likes a smaller plate, the size option with the roasts is perfect. Friendly staff too!
Excellent pub - cold drinks, tasty food and very friendly and especially helpful people working there! They really are going the extra mile! Cant thank and recommend you guys enough - youre fantastic!
We have been there a few time - the Pub is really great and the team is helpful as i havent ever seen before. great ambience, great people .. simply great
Plenty of screens for viewing sports. Volume wasnt on during the day, maybe for big matches. Β£3.85 for orange juice and lemonade seemed a bit steep.
Sunday lunch time busy found a table which h needed clearing amongst others. Food was long time coming . 4 meals ordered one was completely wrong . 2 roasts took even longer . Was told no beef roasts but could have beef and chicken ?????. Some time between 4 meals separate being served. Sunday not hood day to go for food service
A good Greene King spot with a decent set of brews and in a nice vibrant location. Surprising stuff out back with the games and what not.
Ive been using this pub for over 30 years and it still remains a favourite. Its changed names a few times but still has a homely feel to it the staff are always friendly and more than happy to help. The function room has developed into a state of the art games area with smart dartboards, pool tables, shufflebosrds and plenty of screens so you can watch the latest games live in all areas. The drinks and food are usual green king which is good trustworthy quality. Its clean throughout and well maintained. Friday and Saturday night it is so popular as a pre club bar that most people stay as long as possible. There is outside seating on Warwick Street so you can watch the world go by.
Went for a meal on a lunch break. Ordering via the app is easy and has live menu updates. Drinks came quickly. Had a couple of sharing platers. Speedy service, food was hot and decent value for the money. Server was attentive and brought over some spare plates so the platters could just be split.Overall good value for money and can get in and out in a reasonable time for a work lunch break.
A pleasant place with little sense of debauchery. Open and airy. Free from odours. In the mid-afternoon there were few customers but those that had been drawn to the place stood at the bar like the fingers of a raised hand.Seeking the solitude that one commonly finds only at a mountain peak we climbed past them to the first floor and, beneath the ancient timbers, rested in the eagles nest of an ancient Chesterfield. It was there that we sipped the mysterious brown fluids that we had procured below.Time became light. Light became time. Somewhere a voice was speaking.
Nice bar. Pleasant staff. Unfortunately the beers we wanted were unavailable as the system was being cleaned π
Lovely barmaid Kelly made us feel welcome as soon as we were at the bar to order. BOGOF on presecco and peroni was also a nice surprise. Will be back!
Went for a drink and bite to eat around dinner time on Friday.Half the menu was unavailable, drinks were what youd expect from any pub.First table we went to sit at the chair was broken, most table were sticky and dirty.Just generally disappointed, there were more than enough staff stood around to make the small but important changes. We will visit again and give this experience the benefit of doubt.
Nice place for a lunchtime snack and catch up with friends however, the music seemed to get louder while we were trying to talk. This was a real shame because the place wasnt full at the time. The food was excellent and tasty and I would recommend a visit π
Nice pub and excellent staff even though not many as a bit of a wait for food. Apologies given by I think manager but food excellent and well worth waiting for!
Good location, large games area and plenty of areas to sit and watch the sport. Friendly bar staff who really made the effort and looked after us on a couple of visits over a long weekend

Freya and Nathan are the best staff ever and made my industry night even better with the face paint the glow sticks it was brilliant. Lots of love fromTall jack from manuka
Had a lovely warm welcome from the bar staff as always.Had a chicken katsu burger which was incredible! Service was prompt, food lovely and hot. Will def order that next time!We were checked on regularly by staff to see if we needed anything else. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back!
Great food everytime, very friendly welcoming pub. Great to go for drinks with friends or grab some food with your family. Kid friendly options and great portions π
7 old(ishblokes on a leaving do had a blast!! Thanks to Chanelle for organising everything for us, and thanks to the very patient Tilly in the sports bar for looking after us on the night. Good food, good company and great times on the shufl table, darts boards and pool tables. Great night out led to not so great hangovers. Definitely recommend xx
Lots of screens offering various views. Lots of space - Open plan.Simple, nice, affordable food and a good selection of drinks.Pleasant staff
What a cracking night! Kicked my brothers arse at pool and drank lots of decent beer. What more could you want? Kelly was a brilliant host and Ellas customer service was second to none! Thanks guys, will deffo be back x
Lovely well priced pub, good food, and friendly service. We stopped by on our first night in Worthing. The food was hot, well cooked, burger well done in all a nice pub
The first time we ate here. We chose a vegetarian dish for two. It was ok for me because I eat spicy and hot and I enjoyed the skewers. But my partner chose burgers, which were not spicy. In the end, it was okay and we quenched our hunger. I recommend the place, even if its a bit noisy. A football match was watched on that day on TV, with several bottles of beer. But I recommend.
Always a lovely atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks and good food. But most of all, staff are always professional and very polite. Especially Tilly and Nathan π PS. I love to drink a good single malt from their lovely heavy glasses!
We had a beautiful Christmas meal on Friday made by the chef Cody and Simba. The meals were fantastic. We had a three course dinner; I had the festive soup and my partner has the mushrooms on on ciabatta. Both were incredibly tasty and all plates were emptied. For mains, we both had the vegetarian Wellington and it was super tasty and very Christmassy. Our desserts were beautifully presented and tasted amazing. I had the classic Christmas pudding and my partner had the cheesecake- they were very yummy. On our entry we were safely brought inside the pub by Joe who presented us to our table at a safe distance. Every staff member was wearing masks (and Christmas jumpers!)The service by Kelly, Chris and Tristan was outstanding! They were so polite and attentive and made the whole experience really lovely whilst also making sure they kept a safe distance. Everyone was so chatty and joyous and it was extremely pleasant experience. The pub was brilliantly laid out in a "pubsafe" manner. There was perspex in front of the tills keeping everyone safe and markings around the pub to remind everyone to keep two meters apart. There were special mechanisms on the toilet to easily show if it was in use or free which I thought were a brilliant idea! All tables were spaced far enough apart so as to keep the atmosphere busy and lively you were always far enough away from other patrons. The pub is doing brilliantly during this pandemic and we would both happily visit again soon.
We always pop in for lunch when in worthing. The pub has had a great make over.only had jacket potato so cant comment on the food but great choice of gin.clean toilets, friendly staff and i definitely recommend it.
