Thermi Dam in Polygyros

Nice place to get away from the city. Relatively close to Thessaloniki. Many things to do. Playgrounds, lake, walking, bar.

Nice cafeteria , on the top of the lake , with good shadow to hide from the sun , and very nice homemade lemonade !! Staff was very polite nice place to relax in the summer , you can also walk around the lake , not very busy place so I liked it a lot !!

Great service and very reasonable prices. We had grilled greek meat and it was well cooked and delicious. They do offer a selection of food and drinks.

A nice little artificial lake created by the dam cutting off the stream. The whole area is beautiful, ideal for small hikes, walks and picnics along its numerous little waterfalls.

Serene (when not crowdednature retreat practically within city limits. Perfect for duck and turtle watching...easy trails for cozy walks.

Nice place to spend a weekend morning for a walk or a coffee in just a few kilometres from the centre of Thessaloniki. Kids love this place for discovering the nature, play in the playground, get creative and little "dirty"

Its a beautiful place, but its overcrowded on Sundays, there arent enough directional signs for people who havent been there before, and there is a huge pack of stray dogs that live by the entrance to the park, so if you visit with your dog its kind of risky.

Perfect place to escape from the bustling city life, especially for families with children...lovely scenery!

A nice nature reserve very close to Thessaloniki. Not very big but its ideal for a quick trek. Amenities include a canteen/restaurant and plenty of parking.

Amazing natural place, very close to the city. Very family friendly, lots of activities if you like walking and a nice cafe restaurant to relax.

This is a great place for hiking, for picnic and generally for relaxing with friends and family. If you have kids under 5, it could be dangerous though as the paths are a little difficult to cross. I believe in summer you could even swim there.

Theres also a small store of Thermis Municipality which offers a variety of things as a cantina.

Great place for a walk close to city ! Beautiful lake and forest , escape to nature for weekend and city brakes . Many areas around suitable for pic nic and one self service caffe up on the hill with refreshments,coffes, hot dogs, sandwiches, ice cream etc.

Its looks nice but they have to decorate it a bit better to look even nicer and have more people going to visit

The parking is not guarded and there are no cameras. Going back to our car we saw a big intented scratch more than a meter long on the front hood

Great getaway from the town. You can cycle, walk or run following the trail. Great for kids as well, lots of space to play, a playground and pitches.

Nice quiet and safe park. Perfect for a walk, for taking out dogs, for jogging, cycling, going there with kids. There are also many kiosks where you can have pic nic. There a is a cafe as well.

Excellent place to escape from the noise and pollution of the city center and enjoy the great landscape and the piece of nature. There is a nice path that you walk around the little lake and a bar restaurant if want to sit down and enjoy your coffee or meal.

This is a very underrated nature reserve in the Panorama-Thermi region. It is very easily accessible by car, with plenty of parking space, and both the organized recreational centre and the wilder forest on the other side of the dam are great for families, children, and just people that want to relax in nature.

Such a nice place to enjoy natures beauty!! <3 You can feel the soft ground on your feet and the cool breeze on your face, you can hear the water running and the birds crying, you can walk through the forest or drink a coffee/have a lunch in the cafeteria.

It is located in a convenient place, not far away from Thessaloniki. This small man made dam is a great place to go to take photos.It has ducks 🦆, a wooden pier, bridges, a small cabin that serves food and coffee ☕☕, sun covered tables and even a small outside playground.There are plenty of trails some short, around the reservoir and some long that takes you to the nearby towns, like Panorama and Triadi. All of them are absolutely gorgeous.🏞️🏞️Nice place to take the kids for a couple hours, you will enjoy this park! Its beautiful year round.

The park has everything. Playground, basket court, football field, tennis court. It s wonderful. Benches, trees, shades. I recommend.
