Themi Falls Leisure Park in Arusha

Beautiful place, nice people and delicious food!

Great place for a visit and small hike to the waterfall. For me the highlight was the climb right up to the waterfall. There is a hidden path on the right of the waterfall which will take you to the structure built back in 1977 to collect the water for human use.Note that currently the road is under construction and there is a detour to be used until the road is fixed by around September or October 2022. The detour road is horrible, so if you love your car (as I do :( ), you might want to give this place a miss until the road work is completed. Otherwise there is 4km of drivable dirt roads.

Good place to relax

Themi falls is good serene environment, topography, food, good for photo taking, weddings etc.but the road going there is rough road from Philip 4-4.5km

We loved it there! Had an amazing time in the nature, waterfall isn’t very big but it’s surrounding makes it special🌿We also set a small picnic as it was my B-day and the guide was kind enough to wait for us.The hike isn’t very difficult but brings a nice sense of being active.We paid 10$ each and we used boda boda ( motorbike rideto get down the hill to the Arusha town for about 2$ per person

This place is a piece of heaven, and the owner and his staff is giving a service which is very authentic, genuine and very high quality.I have been to this place more then 10 times, and I always go there with my family and friends.The property itself is very picturesque with an amazing garden, and this time we was there the owner showed us a butterfly park which he is preparing as I am writing this review. The gardens are amazing with a huge variety of plants ,flowers and trees scattered around the idyllic property and the 7 acre property which has a waterfall situated about 2 kilometers from the building.There is plenty of wildlife and birds around and you can get a 100% feel of how people live here in symbiosis with their beatiful surroundingsWhen I visit a place like this, where the owner and his team is so dedicated to their work, I feel it as an obligation to write a good review.The food and drinks are of very high standard of Swahili cuisine, simple but well prepared. The majority of vegetables are grown on the property.Five stars to this place.A must visit when coming to Arusha!!!!

Beautiful, tranquil place to sit and have a bite to eat and relax. The walk down to the waterfall is stunning and well worth the 10000tzs cover charge. Getting there however is a hassle as its quite a rough road, and there is no taxis there to take you back. The walk back to town isnt too bad, but can be a bit overwhelming if youre not a walker.

Nice nature place with a open are restaurant. Mind that going to the waterfall itself cost 10 USD per person.

This place deserves more patrons. By African standards a beautiful garden setting high up in the mountain - not much of a view of Arusha however. Peaceful and tranquill. After your visit to Themi waterfall stop here for a cold beer. The road there? Ah well, what would you expect - good by ....... ........!

One thing I remember about this place is, I had a fresh amazing breath ever near the falls

The waterfall park which is up the road slightly was great. This restaurant however was horrible. I am no novice to travel in Africa so I asked what dishes they had available from their menu so we wouldnt have to wait a long time. Our guide also let them know we didnt have a lot of time because of our flight. We waited for an hour and a half for the food to be made before we decided to leave. Never got to eat. There were maybe 4 other people in the entire place.

The Themi falls has a very beautiful scenery and very fresh air. The Ministry of tourism should consider having it as a recreational centre, repair the road leading to the falls and put signs inorder to easily identify the falls easily. All the same we had soo much fun...

Ok, I love nature, and in here I got it. The BBQ was nice the service was great. Its a nice place yo chill out. For adventure will recommend here.

Just about 10km from Arusha CBD u find this nature Park with beautiful hiking spots that will give u amazing views of the city. There is a beautiful picnic site at the foot of mt meru. Beautiful camping spot and without forgetting the meals are something to looking forward to.

They have very clean toilets, well protected area for hiking. Good food and friendly knowledgeable guide. Great hangout for couples and groups.

I loved Themi falls especially the water falls but for someone who doesnt do exercise could be a challenge but other than that its fun, I had so much fun going g to the water falls, my friend couldnt climb back up so the helper who took us to the water falls had to wait for her and hold her hand, it is a really good place to go and visit if your I. Arusha the entire fee is 5000 Tanzania shillings. And they got beautiful gardens each garden got different name, lets talk about food I didnt like the food so much especially the meat but the chips were good and that have different kinds of drinks. But am sure their food are always good it wasnt our luck day that day.
