Seriously good food. Best hash browns ever! Great service, amazing views, perfect menu... but its the outstanding food that keeps us coming back.
A fantastic meal. Service outstanding. Location, there is no place better
Highly recommended, great service, superb food, great view. Ed and Isabella did a fantastic job for our reception 👏
Brilliant food . Great ambience. Fantastic service. Highly reccomened if your in the area.
Slow service and a little bit more expensive than others.
Absolutely amazing service! Quaint place with a great view of the lake!
Very good food @ service,. Dine in or out in the sun, great views
Fish and chips on the wharf was absolutely delicious. Great value. The scenery was quite serene and calming.
Only went for coffee but very nice place got there a bit late half hour before closing I had hot chocolate which could have been hotter nice cakes staff very friendly
Ed and his team created a beautiful lunch function for my dads 90th!! Amazing service food and atmosphere we can’t thank you enough Ed !! You ensured every detail was covered and the day was a huge success
Waited 1 hour and a half for a bacon and egg roll that wasn’t even that good, waste of time and money, should’ve stayed home and made one my self.
Enjoy the Holy Goat coffee nd cake for afternoon snack .good flavour in coffee beans even on soy milk
Nice food, lovely view, what else do we need. We go there often.
Recommended for their Vegie salad bowl with Morrocan mince. Coffee and chips also great. Nice protected views across the water to the bridge
Always constant with quality and flavour. beautiful staff and owners
Beautiful food, great service, perfect day for birthday celebrations
Quick efficient service, friendly staff, was well looked after and the outlook is superb
10/10 We Highly Recommend This Business!Great Food, Friendly Staff, & Lovely Atmosphere ♥️
Thoroughly enjoyed being able to choose from multiple vegan and gluten free options. It was nice to have options. Lovely owner too, came and spoke to us about his plans and how he likes to be inclusive of vegans too. Finally a cafe owner who is evolving with the times. Will definitely visit on my next trip through Forster.
Average. Burger pattie was raw in centre. Easy food to make. Should have gone to the food van parked nearby.
great service, good prices, top quality food drink and snacks. Beautiful outlook over the channel. Plenty of dolphins.
Really lovely Cafe by the water at Tuncurry. Food is delicious and staff are friendly. They always give the kids a menu to colour in and keeps them occupied for a bit.
Decent prices, good food, nice layout. Id recommend for a visit. Cocktails locked very good but didnt have the opportunity to try them.
Some, not all of the staff need an attitude adjustment.Other than that, coffee is quite good and food is very good. I would recommend this place as long as you don’t mind the hostile staff.
The food and coffee is very good, service is excellent. The menu covers all the staples and is adequately comprehensive. They were happy to cater for allergies with our meals. The prices are as expected, good balance of quantity and quality.Appears to be a COVID safe venue.I would come again.
Ed and his amazing team did a wonderful job hosting our wedding reception. The food was brilliant and costs were good and reasonable for catering. Ed is such a genuine person to work with and his commitment and passion to his restaurant is clear and showed on the night. It is so perfectly located right on the water and everyone had such a great night. Thank you again and would recommend highly to anyone considering a wedding function here.
Breakfast yummyChef very understanding of my dietary needs.Coffee amazing.Great background music for breskfast.Selection of cakes even gluten free and dairy free.Would recomend .Service very good too
We were there on Sunday. Everything was good for half of us, but 2 of us ordered smoked pork tenderloin. The meal that was served was quite pleasant, as you would expect a ham salad to be. ....exactly like a ham salad. Little cubes of diced ham in a smoky sauce with a nice salad. It tasted good. The naming of the meal was more than a tad deceptive. I dont order salads.
View spectacular as you can see from the photos. 4 starsFood hot potato/pumpkin salad.Fish, chips and salad. Unfortunately, this meal came with bones 😢
Really enjoy The DECK. Especially for breakfast! Delicious food, great coffee,Calming view, value comparable, good Covid practices and friendly staff! Love The Deck!❣️
Excellent service from all staff. Beautiful location and the food and coffee... even better! Theres nothing quite like eating brekky and watching the dolphins cruise by.
The waitress spilt a milkshake over the top of me. My hair is covered in milk, so is my jacket, handbag and jeans. The milkshake has covered the floor, glass window and wasnt cleaned properly, the floor stinks.WHS is terrible. Asked the manager to mop it up and he didnt. Staff didnt wipe table over with spray.Cold coffee.
On Saturday May 1st extended family & friends gathered at The Deck for a wedding reception. Can honestly say no complaints can be made about the business at all. The service, the food, the atmosphere were all A1 with nothing being too much of an effort. Can highly recommend this business for their willingness to go above & beyond for their customers. Didnt hurt that the view was fabulous!!!
I ordered corn/zucchini fritters with boil eggs avocado and tomato relish. All very tasty but the fritters were far too overcooked. Broke down when cut with a knife. Could have been a lot better.
Delicious food, great coffee. Very popular but the staff handled this well. I think Ill reserve a table next time. Top service!
Was heading to another location for breakfast and so tried the Deck in the hope they werent full. So lucky we did. Had the big breakfast - eggs poached to perfection, good tasty bacon without too much fat, potatoes, beans, toast (skipped the mushrooms). Meal size was perfect- not too big. Lovely view across the water, space in front of the establishment to stroll and stretch legs. Ill be back . . .
Great service, good hospitality, very nice location close to the break wall. The food was good too, I would recommend the vege bowl for breakfast.
Great service. Great coffee.Bathroom access for kids.Minimal parking due to location- cant be helped. Great atmosphere and close to water. Great main meal options for multiple tastes but smaller menu for morning and afternoon tea.
Amazing food and delicious cocktails🍸🍹Great service, all work the wait!!Definately recommend this restaurant with a fantastic view of Wallis Lake🏝
Today 23/9/20 we took the same group back and had the complete reverse experience. The table location that we had personally booked was given to another group that came in just before we arrived at designated time.Food took an hour to arrive at table from time of order.Food was not up to the same standard as last time.Service was poor. What can I say, we wont be back for our monthly meet up.***********************A month ago........All round great experience. Prices are reasonable and quick service. We were in a group of 8 and everyone on the table were very pleased with the service and food.
Excellent staff good food amazing views
Great food , great coffee , great view .
Staff were so accommodating and really looked after our dietary needs. Great atmosphere, view from the deck was relaxing and food was excellent! Kids well catered for in both food and activity. Highly recommend this venue as a lunch destination for any occasion.
Arrived early for our group dinner booking and was greated by lovely staff. My son had ice cream and I had a coffee which was fast and fine.We went for a quick stroll outside and then sat down with our group.Food looked good, was a bit above average pricing but we were keen to try something new. After waiting 50 minutes for food and having a full beer dropped on a pregnant guest the food was very average.Salad was missing dressing and chicken was dry. Gnocchi was bland and small portion.Mussels came without half the mussels. We did get a discount after complaing but really overall a bad experience. We wont be going back.
Delicious breakfast, we went twice during our holiday. Good gluten free options & lovely outlook. Excellent service, everyone was friendly & helpful. Great coffee too.
A busy place with good coffee. The fact it was busy indicates it is popular and that means good food and coffee. I would go a again. We had a party of 7 so had to wait but the manager managed to put 3 tables together for us. Full marks for the service. Prices are OK even on New Years Day.
A fantastic cafe to visit for lunch. Amazing views of the bridge and the breakwall together with good food and excellent service.
After a 15km walk on the beach, a fabulous find for two hungry mums. Great location on the water with the best burger🍔 on the coast, lots of healthy options, and great coffee. A well earned treat after a long walk. The owner was lovely 😊 and well worth the five stars 🌟 Highly recommend for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
A bit overpriced, but nice deserts near the bridge where you can watch the pelicans from a not very far distance!
Service and warm and friendly from all staff. Food very good and not to spicy as we find from other resteraunts. 😍
