Stopped in foor a beer, service was good, beer selection was ok.

Nice food and nice atmosphere

Rude and very unwelcoming. We left and went elsewhere.

Quite a surprising experience for a Saturday lunchtime. No veggies on the menu, limited options with staff under pressure although there was only 10 patrons. Dining area was freezing cold. Not the best experience.

Went here for lunch! You wont be disappointed if you try the Thai beef salad or the pork belly salad! So fresh, amazing!

Passed by the local pub while on a road trip. Can’t go wrong with a good old parma. They had so much variety for Wednesday parma nights. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating area too.

Was once the best local pub. The owners seem to care more about tourists than the locals. Their 8 ball team that have represented the pub for 30+ years have been told the pub no longer wants 8 ball and same with the darts team. They no longer want to associate with the cricket and football clubs. They’ve put an end to Friday night raffles. I’m not surprised to hear the once passionate locals no longer go there. The publican seems to care more about adding new features and renovations that the pub does not need and has survived many years without. I’m not surprised COVID has hurt this pub the most in our town as the other pubs manage to stay open and run raffles, sponsorships, meals, 8 ball and darts because those pubs care about the locals. The publican needs to get his head out of the clouds and go back to basics

Great feed at WY yung tonight, food was delicious, staff are wonderful, attentive, polite great service.

We came here for dinner and the cocktails were amazing. The food was okay.

Had a great night. The music was awesome. Shame more people didnt show up. All service was first class.

Quick service as we walked in at near end of lunch and was very busy,well done chefs. Meals tasted awesome had the standard Parma and chips . Partner had the honey soy prawns...yum

Hardly ever open. Staff say different times to the board outside. Im not going to bother going. Ive lived here for 5 months and it hasnt been open once when ive gone passed or dropped in. Not even the drive thru

Lovely atmosphere, very polite staff and great service!Best parma my partner has had in a very long time.Pulled pork burger was also amazing and so mouth watering.A little off the grid but definatley a great place to visit if in the area. We were in swan reach for a night and made the drive and it was well worth it!Would definatley revisit this pub!

Went for later lunch great that they are serving food all day. Korean Beef Salad had just the right amount of heat but refreshing on a hot day with rice noodles and salad. Friendly service

Forgot to make a review, but when my family and I were here, it took over 1 hour and a half to receive our food, and once I got my food, my Parma had plastic in it. A bit disappointing.

Beautiful outdoor area and staff were so friendly. Shout out to Stella and Dylan for having such good hospitality and excellent customer service

New renovations to grassed/beer garden are great....weather protection but being outside in fresh air was lovely

Great pub food, good quality and decent sized. Garlic bread is a meal in its self. Dillon who served us was really friendly and welcoming. Worth heading out of Bairnsdale for if you are travelling through.

Fantastic country pub. Very relaxing and laid back atmosphere in a traditional styled Australian pub. Really good beer garden and outdoor seating area.

The food was fantastic. I haf the calamari with salad and it was a large dish and very yummy. The wedges was a madsive side order could feed a family or group of friends. Garlic bread was delicious best ive had in a very long time. Would definatly go back if i was travelling in that area.

Parma night for a great cause! Was a queue for ordering and drinks, but a good opportunity to talk and catch up. Food came our reasonably fast, considering the crowd and it tasted great! Chips cooked to perfection. Restaurant wasnt as big as I remember, but I was a while since I was there last. Next visit hopefully comes sooner. Recommend!

Bit dear for a pub meal and dont agree with policy of waiting for all of a large group youre in to order before they start processing any meals for your table. Makes for a long wait for meals.

Great restaurant, excellent service with the best waiter in the region, Liam Scott. However, chairs were uncomfortable and coleslaw was boring. Overall, brilliant restaurant with great food and great service.

Great place for a beer and a feed. Was quiet when I was there but the state of the mens funny was indicative that it may not be the best place to go when its crowded and some have had a skin full.

Brilliant pub fare & some fancy options too. Great atmosphere, really friendly staff, great service. I even met the owner and hes totally down to earth. I always get suspicious of reviews like mine so just for the record...no, I dont work there! Im from Melbourne🙂

Omg, ordered meal at 6:30 and didnt get it until an hour and a half later, what made it worse was it wasnt even busy. Service is so slow...was actually ready to ask for money back and go to Maccas. Not good as we had 5 children with us who were quite hungry. Lucky its school holidays and we didnt go on a school night. When food finally arrived it was ok. Wont be back unless we have plenty if time on our hands and no children.

This is the most amazing pub I have ever been too. If you are in the area definitely give it a try as it has amazing food, beer and atmosphere. The service is amazing and the people are nice. Recommend hovering Aaron Barling a talk too. One funny bloke.

I ordered the pork belly!! Omg! Best pub meal i have ever had! The service was perfect, so polite and helpful! My partner had the aussie parma, it was HUGE! Kids all left happy and full! Best pub in the area. Cant wait to go back!

Parmas were fantastic. Good size servings. Nice area for kids, but the toilets need a make over. Could do with something a little more child friendly.

Went along to Live on the Hill. Long queues to get a drink and longer queues to the toilets. Not enough amenities to cater for the volume of people. Challenging to retrieve information leading up to the event. 1 upside to the event was good service from food truck vendors, they were the highlight to our evening and quality service and yummy food. Will not be returning to Wy Yung Pub.

Good atmosphere on a Friday with a band. For dinner food has been good almost every time we have been. Last trip though was a really poor meal so hopefully its a one off.

Nice for a meal. Most times the meals a great. Although last time I was there I got a fairly tasteless dish of duck fish on rice. It could have done with a bit more flavour. But they aleays have great steaks and pamas.

Horrible service, rude staff, prices are above the average for the local area. Poor quality food, my meal was served cold.

After the renovations, the bistro is looking great! The meals are very generous in size and taste amazing. Jacqui, Antony and their staff are fantastic and provide a great service.

We went to the Bistro for our Christmas party ordered some food. There was a mix up in the food and we just told Sam about it. She was brilliant she apologized and then asked us if it was ok that we wait while she changes the mushroom risotto and also offered us a drink while we wait. I have been to many plces and countires never have I had such fantastic service. Also the food is great a must go.

Well run, relaxed place, close to Mitchell River. Cut above pub grub tucker, good value and very nice selection. They even have Furphy & Kirin on tap! Friendly staff.
