Wines by the bottle, glass or 3-wine flight in elegant bar with bare wood walls and delicate lamps.
Tucked away in the rear of the lower ground floor of the store is The Wine Bar. Decorated in wood with a centre bar you can sit at. I had lunch here and would happily come back again
I had an amazing experience visiting this wine bar 2 weeks ago after just arriving in London. I was travelling alone but Fernando and his colleagues made me feel very comfortable as they were very welcoming. He had a very strong knowledge of wine demonstrated by his ability to determine the wines that suited my palate. Highly recommend going.
Great peaceful haven with reasonable prices. Cheese is good to.
Quite an elegant and fun place layout with, a good array of wine flights and a more than decent wine by the glass option. As soon as I walked in with no reservation Anabel made me feel at home with her particular English accent and that sparkle she has.I had a superb cheeseboard with the selection of your choice and the top-rated flight which was marvellous. She went above and beyond to make the best of my experience, was very knowledgeable and professional, definitely an asset to the company. If you are looking for a place to enjoy wine and appetisers, Its not a place to be missed, Id highly recommend it.
This is my 3rd time at the wine bar- lovely atmosphere, delicious food and I love getting to taste their wines. My favourite is the Marlborough SB by F&M- fairly reasonable at £44. The service is always exceptional. Highly recommend.
I had my first glass of English sparkling wine and it was delicious!!! The service was excellent:)I’d like to specifically mention Emily, who was very chatty and charming
Great to see and be seen, fantastic.
One of my favourite bars in London
Good service. Amazing wines. Nice music. Great temperature.
Always a professional service. Tables nicely spaces and quality is excellent.
The food was divine, the place is beautiful but the wait was too long, hence the 4 stars. Thankfully we had overly staff to entertain us while we were waiting for the food. Hopefully next time we wont have to wait too long before getting our food. Definitely recommend trying.
We’ve just had the best dinner in a long time. Food was lovely and the wine list has an amazing selection of wines from across the globe. The service was excellent and we felt very well looked after. Thank you to the fortnum mason team for making our evening special xx
Great selection of drinks
Nice food and wine but expensive and loud
Cozy warm hideaway in the belly of F&M. Wonderful wine list and charcuterie & cheese selections to pair with the vino. Prices are not as high as you might expect. Attention to detail is spot on. Good service, too.
Astonishing collection of reasonably priced fine wine- Also offerPersonalized bottle engraving and tastings.
Dazzling little spot, offering a great cluster of weird and awesome beverages and extras, in addition to the sort of master learning so uncommon in the cutting edge retail world.would go again there.
Good wine selection. Nice place to have a couple of drinks and a snack
Excellent just excellent
Wonderful spending an afternoon tasting wines here. Staff genuinely interested in wine and thier customers. Most impressed how they have achieved a decent atmosphere here despite being right in the middle of the store.
Excellent memories at this place. I will come back soon
Excellent food ,great wine ,superb service !!
Best burger, but fries were over cooked. Service is good.
Lovely place
We had a very nice and friendly waitress. She was patient with us, described the meals and so funny! The food took pretty long, But it was very good. A bit expensive though but for London ok i guess. It is a small Restaurant and the Tables are squeezed next to each Other. It is a bit uncomfortable because you have to move your Chair if the waitress needs to Go by.It looks nice though.
Great.
Good wines!! Lovely
Terrible service! Our table was given away, we got squeezed in at the bar. Waited ten minutes to get served (waiters extremely slow and not bothered). Flight wine poured into two glasses but bottle ran out on 2nd glass, instead of opening another bottle he poured wine from 1st glass into 2nd glass! Honestly awful!
This small bar is located in the lower level of the food hall in Fortnum and Masons, and therefore abides by the early store closing time (9pm). We visited on a Wednesday evening so it was quite quiet, and decided to sampled some of their daily oyster specials paired with a few glasses of (very reasonably pricedwines. There are a variety of dishes to suit the occasion, with some items more expensive than others, but the venue is worth the visit.
Pure class.Superb wine, elegant surroundings, great laid-back-but-formal atmosphere, very well informed serving staff, and everything at about the same prices as youd pay in the shop just yards away.In the evenings they often have a jazz guitarist; stays open longer than the shop itself does. One of my favourite escapes.
This is the best place for drinking Champagne in London in my opinion - their "Champagne of the Month" is great for Champagne enthusiasts like me who are interested a wide variety of different Champagnes. They showcase a different Champagne house each month, Its usually £30 for a flight of three, normally the regular NV, a rose and a vintage. My wife and I usually share a flight (she only really wants a few sips out of eachand along with some nibbles and the very pleasant background music (usually a jazz guitariast plays livethis makes for a really nice night out. So far this year have had a number of different Champagnes including Pol Roger, Laurent Perrier and Taittinger.
