The Wild Geese Restaurant in Limerick

We came across The Arches en route from Galway to Dingle - what a gorgeous and totally charming spot! Stopped for a coffee and sandwich en route one way which was delicious, and so stopped again on the way back for more. Delightful little place and run by the loveliest people, an unexpected gem which really warmed our hearts!

Petite pause déjeuner au Archers. Ambiance feutrée, musique douce, décor cosy style salon anglais. Un bon moment passé en famille. Plats goûteux et joliment présentés, copieux, personnel très serviable et souriant. Létoile en moins uniquement car sur un plan personnel jaurais aimé les oignons frits dans mes toasts plutôt que crus et plus de parfum de glace que lunique vanille ! 😉 Prix raisonnable. Je recommande

Traveled all the way from Oceanside California to Ireland, on our drive from Dublin to dingle we we stopped in Adare to grab a bite to eat. Wow are we glad we found the arches! The classic bangers and mash were delicious! Would recommend to anyone!

We had lunch here on Sunday last weekend as we were passing through Adare on a long drive from Kerry to Offaly. It feels like a step back in time in a way when you dine here, due to decor, menu, even the tableware, but this was in a very nice way. The food was tasty and my compliments to our server who was very knowledgeable about gluten free options which I require. The prices were reasonable and service professional and quick. I would most definitely recommend!

Random stop for lunch on a road trip and ended up being a great choice. The shepherds pie was rich and tasty, sandwiches were fresh and salad was huge. Delicious French press coffee. The gentleman who served us was extremely friendly and helpful. Decor is eclectic and a mix of old furniture and dishes; really enjoyed it.Thank you from the group who really liked the famous chicken soup!

We were very well looked after here. We were given a table of our own choice. Staff kept checking on us at our table outdoors. The specials were better than the regular menu. Parking available just around the corner and a nice park to ramble in nearby.

I had salmon and it was lovely recommend it wife had chicken dinner the same we left clean plates lovely people

Stopped in Adare on the way home from Kerry and chanced upon The Arches. I cant praise it enough! Lovely family run place with warm friendly staff who go the extra mile. My wife had roast chicken and was delighted with it while my ham salad sandwich was a meal in itself. Can thoroughly recommend The Arches well worth a visit!

Great spot for lunch after morning horseriding, owner took special care for my daughter who is coeliac. Highly recommend for decent food, old fashioned quality! Glad we stopped by.

Fabulos friendly place

Stopped in Adare for something to eat and so glad we stumbled in here. Absolutely loved the old fashioned decor from curtains to tables and chairs, creating a real old world atmosphere. The staff were so attentive and welcoming and the food was well presented, delicious and reasonably priced. It was really something different and just well done to the family running it!

We found this restaurant driving through Adare looking for lunch, the food was lovely and the staff were so welcoming especially the elderly lady who we found out was the owner when we were leaving, she was LOVELY,could not do enough for us, we will deffinatly call again, really enjoyed it.

Stumbled across this place while driving trough and looking for a lunch spot. We were so happy we found it. I had the bangers & mash, and my wife had the ham and cheese sandwich. We were both very pleased with our meal. Prices were reasonable, and the service was so friendly and great. We would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Food is excellent and reasonably priced. John takes great care of you. Big thank you to kitchen for tasty food. If in Adare, eat here. Coffee is included in breakfast, served in French Press, wonderful idea. We went there 4 times in 6 days, love the decor and the food.

We stayed at Adare Villas and walked to the village. Had lunch at The Arches. The staff, the service, the atmosphere, and the food were all top notch.I had Bangers and Mash and it was delicious.I cant say enough good things about the people here. Truly make you feel at home.

This is Irish hospitality at its very best. Such warm welcoming service and very tasty well cooked food. Could not fault it. Its clear the owners take pride in what they do. Would highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

On a roadtrip around Ireland and randomly stumbled upon this gem! We had the best food in Ireland here! We never order desert but we had to here, everything we had was amazing down to the single onion! If I could give 10 stars I would!

Went there with our girls, for a birthday lunch, on very short notice. Very very warm welcome. Even a balloon for her. Absolutely fab. Great food, and the most excellent service. Well most definitely be back. Highly recommended... Tnx
