soft gigs, nice place and the best citra ipa
Good beer and great atmosphere
Saturday night with dj Nicky Wolfe playing classic music from when music had lyrics 60s 70s 80s etc. For us over 50 its perfect dance till late. Well worth a visit. Perfect for parties with private function room and food.
Great pub, the outside space is a nice recent addition.
Great pub ,nice staff .x
Lovely friendly staff....good pint to
My go-to pub in Limerick, great drinks and atmosphere!
Great staff, great music, great location
My favourite bar in Limerick! Ive been reluctant to write a review for selfish reasons as I dont want it to get too busy! The staff are soo lovely and friendly and you never have to queue for a drink. Great music and vibes. Indoor and outdoor seating. What I also love is that its never too busy and soo relaxing there. Also arguably the nicest toilets in Limerick. I love everything about this place!!
Great place to enjoy a beer
Thank you so much for the best day we had my daughters hen party with ye and cocktail making was a great experience. The beautiful young lady that was our cocktail maker is a credit to your business she was kind funny friendly and did an amazing job keeping all the hens entertained id recommend you bar to everyone great day
We had a fantastic time in The White House attending a hen night. We had the downstairs room to ourselves and had great fun. The young lady showing us how to make the cocktails was very chattey and it was plain to see she was enjoying her work. I think Teresa was her name. A very pleasant experience. Well done White House bar.
Beautiful pint of Guinness...really lovely pub in the Georgian quarter of limerick.
Nice pub and lovely pint
Have always enjoyed a drink in The White House, and staff are always incredibly friendly and in good spirit. Just recently found out that its a great spot to watch the Munster rugby matches, so will definitely be returning for these games! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Nice bar, on a night out.good crowd.
Brilliant night great music great atmosphere 😁
Its very crowded and really hard to get a place to sit, the service of the place is good though.
Nice bar and friendly staff
Great pub. Hadnt been there for years. Called in after the rugby..
Great curry served here at a very reasonable price
Great pub. Cozy and excellent bar staff.
Always love this bar. Friendly helpful staff and a great ambience! It was quiet when we were there as it was early but then filled up. A musician finished off the night nicely.
Going their 10 years.. First time I seen a bouncer on the door.. he was very rude and abusive.. and was stopping alot of regulars ..
Just gorgeous, very helpful staff for two punters just drinking coffee.
Drinks good, service excellent but TV went down twice during Rugby match 😩
Nice lads at the bar and Great music. More space downstairs.
We were in this lovely local bar recently lovely place. Nice music, service and a great pint of Guinness...... we will be back.

Beautiful bar. Great atmosphere.
Table service is slow, could do with more staff but overall lovely bar, great atmosphere and good finger food available! Would definitely recommend
Super pub great atmosphere great live music and top quality pint of Guinness
We felt very safe and comfortable. Management check everyone that came inside. Service was excellent and tables were well spaced. Great to have live entertainment back. We enjoyed the group. .John and Ber. 👫👍
Lovely atmosphere. Staff are very friendly & professional. Bar its self is extremely comfortable. Not my 1st time there & definitely wont be my last. Well worth the the visit x
Lovely place to chill out nd have a drink or two.The staff are very friendly.
What a find.....We were accommodated with pure professionalism here by a man named Kieran. Very nice man who slotted us in and kept the flow of drink out to anyone who wanted it and although under massive pressure, kept his cool and showed us all exactly what irish hospitality is meant to be. Great spot, good staff and good Guinness. Fair play and best of luck. I will return.
Love this bar! We visited here recently dermot booked our table, frienly staff , great vibes, Great music and gorgeous food would recommend the nachos really good! everything very clean and professional will be back soon
A great atmospheric traditional bar with no frills apart from a great selection of gins. It is well worth a visit and serves a great pint with a great welcome.
Nice decor lots to look at photo wise.
A really friendly pub with great staff, lots of good Irish whiskey
Both of us got a bad pint, was returning it with to the big barman, not a bother. Little fella, threatened to throw me out? I have consumer rights on product as the first barman knew. The second thought he was the boss of my choice to tell him his Heineken was bad.Bad form from him caused a scene, asked to leave, then not, wont visit again. Shame I have to give a star at all to be fair. On the bright side, drinks were replaced and the other non brewed drinks were fine.As other reviews have said with one star the bar staff should pay more attention to their clientele and product. Hope you will act, when Heineken has no head, as a barman you should know something is wrong, taste it and see!
Called in on Saturday night. Unfortunately the place has turned into a disco bar! (What is this, 1992?This fantastic old bar has completely lost its atmosphere. DJ in the corner and music too loud to talk. Pity.
As a 50+ make who likes music from my era no the rubbish in the charts now I go to the Whitehouse every Saturday night. Dj Nicky Wolfe or Ritchie Fitzgerald keep everyone entertained till the early hours of Sunday morning. Pint is reasonably priced and staff friendly.
This pub is the oldest in Limerick. It has very high ceiling and stylish timber work.It does not attract the crowds of other well known pubs but that is an advantage if you want to avoid the hassle of loud noise. Outside sheltered seating is available. Che Chevara once visited here in the 50s when his plane broke down at Shannon. It can be busy on a Sat night.
My mother and I stopped by this bar on Wednesday evening. We were served by Gerard who was very accommodating and made us some very tasty cocktails which really hit the spot. He even gave us a list of things to see and do in Limerick. Really nice bar with very friendly staff.
The place had lost a lot of the charm that the old White House used to have when it first opened but it has since improved. The place is still a bit generic but I cant find a particular fault with it. Prices maybe a bit on the high side but in line with the bars across the street (bar 101). Sort of place where you need to be in a group
A sports bar that has one TV that I saw. I wandered in mistaking it for somewhere with atmosphere and character. It seems to have tried to retain some original features but my brief visit left nothing to tempt me back for more. The only reason I havent given one star is the friendliness of the one customer, who was clearly the worse for wear.
