Dickinson St, Salford M3 7LW, Longsight
The White Hotel - Arts Organisation in Longsight, United Kingdom
In the middle of nowhere, no sign that I could see, not a former hotel - a former mechanics workshop, looks like a warehouse. Dont be put off! Its cool inside
Decent sound, real friendly staff 💪👌
I am amazed at reading so many rave reviews. It’s all done on the cheap. I found this venue wholly unsuitable as a venue for bands. Restricted view due to steel support directly in front of stage , uneven floor which drops at the back of the room restricting any view further . Exterior lighting insufficient over uneven wet surfaces . I have visited literally hundreds of venues over the years and can safely say this is by far the most dreadful venue I have ever visited. I went to see the band Sorry but they weren’t half as sorry as I was (great band btw).
The most incredible, quirky, personal and arty music venue. Cheap drinks too. Saw Bodega and Regressive Left play in this rough and ready ex-car garage. One of the best gigs Ive ever been to, only wish I didnt live so far away!
One of my favourite venues! :-has so much personality, and any gig or event I’ve attended here has been excellent. The staff are friendly and the decor and atmosphere are wonderfully idiosyncratic.
The most atmospheric venue! I have been for both a club night event from 11pm and to a gig here and both have had the loveliest most upbeat atmosphere. It’s a small venue with plenty to give. The staff are friendly and helpful. The drinks are really reasonably priced especially compared to similar venues in the area. Best of all the sound system is loud and clear and has particularly good bass. Highly recommend!
I save a lot of money to make my dream come true. Worth visiting this club, unique and special. Clean toilets, safe place and modern facilities. Recommend to everyone, thank you!!!
FrixXxion the queer rave was amazing, its brilliant that theres a queer Techno night, as the Village is so stale and dull these days, with no real variety or even a low bar by which to measure the quality of the music.Eagle is a prime example - awful megamixes of classic tracks, ruined by remixers that havent got a musical bone in their bodies! However, FrixXxion have got that perfectly answered, with a night that had me dancing hard and fast from the get-go, at the bar, even outside smoking (boo, hiss! bad for you, I hear you cry! Erm, or maybe not!I simply couldnt help myself.
Most excellent music venue, whoever books the bands has sublime taste. Small enough to feel part of the gig, big enough to get the right artists. Love it
Cool little venue with very cheap rum and cokes
super fun venue with great music!
Just absolutely unreal basically and everyone has a mint time.
Lovely please great venue friendly people good beer
Best music venue in Manchester
Always daylight when I leave cos it’s a place you HAVE to stay until the end
A fun night out watching my cousin Andy Stott doing his thing 😁🎹🎵💕
All my time spent there goes beyond time and usually space. Time well spent. Time
What an iconic club. Have never ever been disappointed with the music/show. Only if they could clean it a bit it will be even more amazing.
🥳
Super nice staff,great underground venue.
The white hotel is one of the best venues for electro, breaks, bass dub etc and hosts a variety of different flavours, the staff are nice and the door staff are respectful. This is one of the best cultural music venues in Manchester
Great venue, staff brilliant
Good times, make sure you buy a ticket in advance because you are unlikely to get in without one.
The venue that makes Hidden look Found does not signpost itself, even once youve walked up to the front door (which is at the back). The litter strewn dead end road in an unhipstered industrial zone gives no hints away, unless the musics playing. At the very end of the road youll find a doorman whose not stood at a door. Hell usher you on, and youll stumble in the dark round to the opposite side of the building where youll find an unmarked door. Inside (and down five stepsis two rooms that used to be a garage (and could be returned to that usage in a matter of hours).Youll already know about the bar in a hole in the floor, which was undeservedly the main talking point for many visitors in the early years. Yes there is a glass covered hole with a wooden pyramid at one end, but if you turn around and go to the other bar you can buy a cocktail or a better beer. The second room contains the sound system and (if youre there for a bandthe stage. Its a great sound system. That about covers it.Is it a great venue? No, its a cold, ugly space in what feels a dangerous part of town. Thats also whats good about it. Theres only one reason to go there and thats because you really like the music being played, and want to hear that music on a good sound system with like-minded people. The nature of the venue and its location ensure it will never be anything other than that.
I would give 5 stars if entry was cheaper ! But drinks are well priced once inside
Interesting! Looks like the sort of place a serial killer would take a victim from the outside. Derelict garage but surprisingly cosy inside with a great coktails menu - result! Had a great night but dont walk down there on your own.
Quality music venue. It doesnt look much from the outside but inside there is a great bar with friendly staff. There was so much dry ice I couldnt see how big stage area was but the acoustics really packed a punch.
Ratty. Sounds good.Has a surprisingly decent bar for such a small venue.Went to watch a live band, pillars in the middle of the venue can make watching the stage difficult. Id expect its a very good club night.
What all clubs should aim for. Went here for the first time in 3 years on Saturday and was just incredible. Still packed at 5am. Will be bk next time I’m in Salford. I’ve had the best times of my life here.
Great sound. Watched Farfisa and Boogarins and had mind blown. Is not on the public transport network and would suggest walking over with friends.
The one rave location that never seems to disappoint, as long as you have an advanced ticket. Great people and great vibes all night throughout to the morning, with great music and staff.
One of the best venues in Manchester, and possibly England at the moment. Providing great music and arts for the industry. The staff on the bar are friendly and the prices are really cheap, the sound system is excellent with good quality music till the early hours. Will be returning as much as I can this year. Only small complaint is the floor level has a small rise in the middle which can be slippy when busy.
One the best clubs Ive ever been to. Impeccable vibes, great people and amazing music. So so good
Well stocked bar, unfortunately bed was a sofa bed and inclusive breakfast turned out just to be snyders & scampi fries.
I would give it 0 star if I could for the behaviour of the manger. Made us wait an hour an half out side in the rain even tho there were only 8 people in the queue. Security said 10 people need to come out of the club then we can get in, and it did happen after very long time waiting outside in the rain and freezing weather, then this manager changed her mind and said no. Spoke to her to explain the situation but she was very rude by saying that i changed my mind and it’s my club. She let some people in that she knows. Shame on you, you are really bad to be a manger for such an amazing underground venue.
Really good venue, nice pale ale, good sound, floor really uneven just watch your ankles!
Good gig venue, proper small club that is dingy but atmospheric. Decent refreshments at accessible prices
Its not white, its not a hotel. But its a great place to see the band or artist you love, to meet up with friends and to enjoy a good drink.
Currently the best nightclub in Manchester. Every time I go the crowd are so lovely, the tunes are great and the drinks are reasonable.
Very unique venue super relaxed with a decent vibe the smoke machine needs turning down a little cant wait to go again.
Its a converted garage in an unreconstructed and very industrious part of town, its interesting from that point of view. There was a guy on the gate, there were girders to lock our bikes to.Went to see an exhibition in the day time, which was good, staff were helpful, the bar fine and I understand the toilets are interesting.
Great venue and crowd. Got that slightly anarchic and chaotic vibe like the best clubnights. Bar staff friendly, system is cracking, security are present and calm. All in all, best night out Ive had in a while.
Amazing venue - hands down the best Manchester/Salford has to offer in terms of an underground scene. First rave Ive been to where you can buy espressos martinis and weissbier! Great place, top vibe.
Really fun and creative venue. Music is really good. Drinks are a tad expensive than ordinary pubs but at the same time it IS an event space so thats to be expected.
Don’t let the name fool you, this is no hotel! It’s a wonderful, dark and dingy nightclub hidden away somewhere in Salford. It hosts a lot of different dance nights, so it’s worth checking to see what’s on. The bar is a hole in the floor and they project twisted 70s horror films onto the wall. Not sure what else to say except it’s a great night out! Oh and unisex toilets with mirrors that are about an inch square. Try it out!
Great venue for smaller clubnights - usually attend for Homoelectric related events. The relatively small scale, irregular layout and lived-in appearance of the venue, including the sunken bar, level changes across the dance floor and clean but worn finishes, all help to create an interesting and informal vibe which is well suited. Plenty of outside space too. Only issue is lack of level access throughout venue, rendering it inaccessible to some.
This is a great club in a warehouse kind of location, only venue which opens till 7am, pros - great music, open till late,Cheap drinks, most of the crowd is from uni so dont be surprised with people with immuture clubbing etiquettes
A taste of Berlin in darkest Salford. Quality nights, the city’s best sound system and a properly good crowd. Choose an event, screening, club night or royal funeral reenactment to suit your taste and leave your phone at home.
Excellent club and atmosphere, excellent music and great vibes.I must say though, the whole place is one big trip hazard. Slippery ramps and sharp corners made of concrete are all over this very dimly lit location. Put some fluorescent tape down or something please
If an underground feel is what youre looking for, this place will make you feel right at home.Honestly gives more of a house party vibe than a rave, people were talkative and friendly.Id get an Uber back though, the area does look a little rough.
