Quirky pub with welcoming bar staff. The Sunday roasts are well known in the area.

There carvary is superb. Way better than Tobys. Everything is cooked fresh from scratch, loads of choices of veg. 😘Including cabbage,Swede and cauliflower cheese.3 choices of meat. Homemade gravy. Collect or delivery. Found me a little gem. The cook should be very proud as its proper homemade cooking 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Portion sizes really good and you must try the sticky toffee pudding 😋

First time ordering a carvery from here. Great value for money with very large portions. Delivered on time and with good packaging so no leaks in the bag. Can’t believe I haven’t ordered from here before, will be ordering again.

Lovely dinner, large portions. Very friendly staff. However, I would have given 5 stars, but I ordered an extra potion of mash and was very disappointed to be charged £4

Always good food and atmosphere

Decided to try this pub one Thursday night as myself and a few work colleagues were out having a few pre Christmas drinks nearby. However when we get there just before 10pm the door was locked and an old miserable bald strange looking man answered and said it was closed even tho the place was lit up inside. No explanationno apologies either? Shall not be returning as its obviously a pub for friends and family of the owners.

Proper old school boozer. Decent pint of guiness. Great music. First time here will not be the last

Ordered for the first time from here today.FABULOUS!I ordered a roast dinner with 3 meats and a variety of vegetables(my only criticism would be that I like my vegetables cooked slightly less)Beautiful meat, quality ingredients, everything perfectly seasoned and tastyLarge pot of excellent gravy!Was delivered hot to my door within 20 minutes of me placing my order!Really enjoyed and would recommend!

Ordered for first time today it said 35 mins for delivery it came in around 25 mins and i will definitely order again it was very filling and lovely. The gravy was absolutely amazing. 5 stars all the way

This public house is very friendly and my gf and I really enjoyed ourselves we only went for a couple of drinks. But it was most enjoyable.

Went here to play a doubles match at darts and found the place to be very hospitable it had everything you need in a pub and more will go again

A dark and dingy pub, with foam ceiling tiles and a very tired decor. The beer garden has a lovely "industrial wasteland" view from beside the bins.

Christmas dinner was lovely. 10/10 on all 3 courses. Staff were lovely, really enjoyed the experience. Finished Xmas day off a treat x x

Good food on a Sunday with Ryans sunday roast with all sorts to choose from... Nice place watch the football and relax and play pool as you have the juke box... Good and let down hair nights on a Saturday with karaoke and always a laugh... Friendly atmosphere and tip top to standards, cant say more...... Come and see for yourself....

This is the best pub to come to for entertainment. The locals are amazing and friendly. Drinks are the best around also good prices and good company is the key to drinking. So I would highly recommend this pub if you like a good time and experience every time you come this pub. Also I met my fiancé at this pub it was a one off chance so its full of surprises honestly anyone who wants a good time should come vist the white horse you wont be disappointed :)

Can honestly say this is a lovely pub, staff are friendly the service is great. Food is beautiful and at the weekend if your looking to let your hair down the karaoke is perfect for that, music is always to everyones taste defo the place to be wether your after a bite to eat or a fun night out!!
