Very cool pub, highly recommend especially for quiz night!🤩
Really friendly pub would recommend especially for the pub quiz!
Fantastic experience at this traditional east end community pub! Faolan and Connor are exemplary guvnors! Wish there was more boozers like this! The Guinness and Carlsberg were great!
Excellent community pub and lovely landlords! Tradition at its best!
Everything a welcoming backstreet East End boozer should be!On one hand it embraces and celebrates traditions from the past while also bringing the pub into the 21st century, as what I like to call, THE modern East End proper pub that has diversified respectfully. There is truly something for everyone here: karaoke, beanos to the racing and Tom Jones shows, sensible drinks pricing, racing on the tele for the older faces and some of the best pub music in town.Landlords Faolan & Connor always go the extra mile (pun intendedto create a warm atmosphere along with that most guilty of publicans sins: making their pub somewhere you dont ever want to leave!Inclusive. Affordable. Traditional. Modern. Fun.Get yourself down there!
Great pub, fantastic staff all round friendly vibes!
Family like pub with amazing service and never a bad experience. A true east end pub ❤️
Brilliant pub atmosphere is brilliant everyone friendly and welcoming. The boys that run the pub definitely know how to run a good pub, they make you welcome and make sure you have a great time there.
My favorite pub in east London! Real community atmosphere with the friendliest bar staff. Faolan and Connor who run the pub are lovely and have done a proper good job at keeping up the integrity of this old pub (including maintaining affordable pints!). Always nice people around and good music on, and the side beer garden has been lovely in the summer weather. I’d absolutely recommend a stop in if you’re in the Mile End area
Wonderful pub with friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Shall be making a return visit when I’m next in London!
Nothing less than 5 stars for this welcoming fun friendly pub. The staff here are so welcoming and it really is your local pub in the middle of London. Hospitality and value for money are a guarantee. The music was great, the customers were friendly and welcoming and faolan and Conor are amazing hosts we didnt want to go home. Would definitely recommend and will be back I hope. Call in for a visit your sure to stay a while 🙂
I pondered into the wentworth arms, after hearing about the ecstatic community pub hidden round the corner of Mile End station. After recently moving to east London I took it upon myself to enter the small cornered pub and to my surprise it exceeded all expectations. From the music, to staff, locals, bingo + live music events and selection of drinks, the wentworth arms completed the ideal pub.I ordered a pint of Guinness. The perfect pour, ( i must sayfrom a bartender with such charisma and politeness.Known for its Guinness, it didn’t disappoint. As I sat round gazing across the decor, so much personality and history was graced around the bar. From pictures of residence at previous events to historical memorabilia about the east end. This is a true British pub. One of very little in London that hold such character and simplicity, and most importantly bring the east London community together.I’ll be back soon!
Was looking forward to visiting after reading all the good Guinness reviews. Well, somethings changed since then. The barman poured some, then realising that the head was far too large, got a jug to pour more Guinness into until it looked dark enough. Once he got the glass 3/4 cum he waited a miserly 15 seconds or so to top it upEnded up with one of the worst looking pints Ive ever seen. Time to clean the lines I think.
Always a pleasure friendly & welcoming pub , good old fashion pub
Beautiful a d old pub where I used to go to watch footbatch not for drink . Just behind Mileend station . Its on of the oldest brand .
Great boozer, nice pint of Guinness at a very reasonable price , friendly locals , polite staff and very clean premisesI went in as part of a walking group and immediately felt welcome
Friendly staff, They have quiz night on Mondays and they play bingo Thursday evening - Well worth visiting because of the atmosphere and great laughs
Traditional pub with friendly staff. Quite small, but with good atmosphere. Prices are reasonable for the area and has an outdoor space.
What can I say!! This pub is unique the managers, the staff, the customers its a real gem. The music, the complimentary food. Its amazing. I suggest you go there, you wont be disappointed!!! 5+ stars all day long. Love you guys xxxx
Best pub ever! Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere and there is always events and things on to involve the whole community! Always a fun night with good music, great drinks and lovely staff and locals 😊
The Wentworth is the 8th wonder of the East End. A wonderful welcoming pub, with a real community feel. A good selection of drinks, plenty of laughter & bar staff who are on point & eager to please their customers. If you are in the area it is well worth a visit
Absolutely love this place. Went in for drinks with friends and didn’t want to leave! Such a strong sense of community and friendliness. Bar Staff were so kind and fun. Going back with a bigger group straight away!
This is such a wonderful community pub with such a welcoming environment!! I love coming in and getting to chat to people of all ages from all over. Would definitely recommend :)
Absolutely brilliant pub! Atmosphere is always great with friendly and welcoming staff and regulars, a real great community with all involved in the craic. Always a priority when visiting to get in to this true Londoners pub. Great location right by the Mike end tube station as well. Great craic guaranteed. A must when in London!
Amazing pub! Such a great community feel. The staff are all so welcoming and fun (especially the young Irish barmaid!)
I often drink in this pub. Everyone is always made to feel welcome here and with a lot of regulars you can tell it’s a place you’ll never only visit once ;-With continuous effort made to entertain the whole community..bingo nights, karaoke, singers etc. Young or old, you’re guaranteed a good night in the Wentworth Arms!!
My absolute favourite spot to go to in London for a drink. Always make it a priority visit when visiting. The bar staff are so welcoming and always up for a laugh. The drinks are real cheap and the jukebox is always playing classics. A hidden gem tucked in behind Mile End station.
A proper boozer, situated just off the main road in Mile End. Friendly service, great conversations to have or listen into from the locals. Very few pubs like this still exist sadly. If youre nostalgic for a time when pubs were pubs, then this is for you.
Great local bar family feel enjoy your drinks at ease
Stopped in at the end of a walking tour of the area. Great pint. Excellent background music, and it just felt welcoming. Right next door to the tube station as well. Cheapest pint we had seen in london that day.
Lovely pub. I went here on the day of a West Ham home game and its very much a West Ham pub so it was busy from opening time. But it wasnt too busy and both the staff and the clientele were lovely, polite and very welcoming. Cream cheese and salt beef bagels on the bar too. As honest as it should be and a 2 minute walk from Mile End station
Often pop in ere for a glass of wine. Very reasonable at £4.30. Lovely atmosphere and a great old jukebox playing all the classics. My old man is always very impressed with the Guinness! The bar staff are very friendly and join in the banter it’s always nice to see people enjoying their work!
Great pub with the best staff. Definitely recommend
Stopped in for a quick one before heading out. Owners welcoming and friendly with warm and cozy atmosphere. Will definitely stop by again if ever passing through.
Only came in for one pint but ended up staying for 6! Lively atmosphere with a great jukebox! Cant wait to come back in the New Year! Happy Christmas folks
I had a lovely time on Saturday night at the karaoke! We were made feel extremely welcome and my brother even got up to sing! We will definitely be back for the next karaoke and hopefully the bingo session on a Thursday!
I had an amazing afternoon in The Wentworth Arms today! Such a friendly atmosphere with welcoming bar staff and attentive managers. They should be extremely proud of themselves as they have kept this East End pub traditional whilst simultaneously catering for a new range of clientele. I had such a laugh singing along to Chas & Dave while enjoying a nice Gin and Tonic! I cant wait to come to the karaoke on the 31st!
Great little pub packed with character and down to earth people! Had a great laugh with the locals and some other friends I had not seen in a long time, The bar staff were also quick and efficient. They didnt sell food but the managers brought down some complimentary bar snacks in the evening, which was a nice touch!
