The Well Watering Hole Bistro in Jacksonville

A cute wine bar with great drink options for people that dont like wine. Everything is priced appropriately and they have a great happy hour (food and drinks). The food is good too - especially the hummus and the popcorn. A perfect place for a drink and appetizers. There is also plenty of parking options. Worth a visit if youre close by.

This is my home away from home! The atmosphere is laid-back and its a great place to conduct meetings or to escape the home office and get some work done while enjoying a glass of wine or beer. The food is fresh and prepared with love by Nancy, the proprietor.

Unbelievably tasty and possibly the friendliest service ever! All the vegetarian options were unique and super flavorful.

Very happy to have The Well in the neighborhood. Pretty good beer and wine selection. Extensive food menu and great desert case. Looking forward to my next visit.

I had no idea that this place was here, and I pass it all the time. My friend took me here for dinner and they have some mighty fine meatloaf! The place is cozy, clean, and staff was nice.

Wonderful drinks and dinner with friends. Had a variety of cocktails and draft beers, along with appetizers which were a pleasant start to our meal. Some had the Italian grilled cheese, some the glazed salmon, one pepperoni pizza and a Poblano pepper stuffed with Peruvian chicken. Everyone enjoyed their dinner choice. Shared Chocolate peanut butter pie was delish. Very enjoyable small local restaurant!

Delicious and quaint

Well Ill start by saying I hadnt planned on coming here. A nearby watering hole was jammed packed and I did a google map search to find something else close by. I found this by accident. Glad I did. Interesting little pub like small restaurant joint. So menu perused and found vegetarian and vegan friendly options. A big plus. Dont worry carnivores. Theres still plenty for you. Friendly staff. Nancy, the owner , was there and shes great. ONLY thing is a small IPA selection. But thats common in smaller places. Good wine selection. Definitely on my list for nights out.

The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. It seemed like the wait staff were all relatively new. Was not a fan of how the manager on duty (apparently the owner?was talking to her staff, but also understanding of wanting perfection for your business. The wait for food and drink was not long. The nectar of the gods drink was strong, but not as fruity as I was originally hoping. Still a great drink! My biggest complaint was the chicken salad was dry. The meal came with chips and cucumbers which were both delicious. Might come back one day, but a little out of my budget for the experience I had.

ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!!! My friend and I were going to go elsewhere for dinner the other night but I found this place on Yelp and I certainly will be back. Had the nachos, kale salad, black bean burger and lemon and peanut butter desserts. ALL HOME MADE! What?? Where does that happen anymore! The server Kelly was great, and the owner Nancy was so kind. Will absolutely be back. A+++++

Stumbled across The Well for a quick take out dinner- blown away by how kind everyone was, and what a cute little place it is! They treat you like a guest in their own home. Kale salad with lentils was excellent - a lot of menu items you cant find elsewhere. Cant wait to go back and try something else!

One of the best home made black bean burgers Ive ever had! Such a unique place with healthy choices. My friend had their hummus sandwich and both of us loved our lunch! Will definitely be back!
