Warwick Arms, 160 Warwick Rd, Kensington, London W14 8PS, Cumberland
Typical Victorian pub with a laid-back feel, alternating real ales and a North Indian menu.
Great little local pub, fab range of real ales and always service with a smile!
Nice staff, delicious food, absolutely recommended for Indian food lovers.
WOW!!! From the moment I walked in, the aroma of the food and the warm greeting by the Publican - I was intrigued. A whole week in London and I hadnt experienced either thus far. It was my last evening in London and literally no where else had been so inviting. The eclectic decor is interesting and with out a doubt it was the BEST Indian meal we have ever had! The food being served at surrounding tables also looked amazing. Definitely has my recommendation!!!Hope to return some day.
Super cute pub, good music and there is lots of sitting space outside which is good in summer. Careful, the Neck Oil is £8.20…
Really nice pub inside and decent seating outside, but £8.50 for a pint of Jaipur, come on. Thats scandalous.Go elsewhere - I live nearby, you can get a decent pint at the Scarsdale, the Devonshire, the Britannia and the Hansom Cab for a fraction of that.
Good food and a nice interior, though no Pride available nearly caused palpitations 🤪
Great place for a pint and food. Excellent Indian food. Good selection. If youre really hungry, on the menu, middle of the page is a "platter" item - Awsome!!
£8.50 for a Jaipur (eek!but an absolutely top notch Chicken biryani. Probably the best Ive had.
Solid place. Came in for some cocktails and snacks. Would most definitely visit again. Service was good. Food and drinks were good as well. The place is beautiful. We sat both inside and outside. Clean bathrooms. What else could you want!?
Nice pub that we found on our way to comic con in Olympia. Friendly staff, great selection of beers, spirits, wine and it also serves food. Even though there is only one toilet in the ladies it was clean and pleasant to us. Would definitely recommend paying this pub a visit
Welcoming place with good service and old fashioned interior. Decent range of drinks and good food.
Pleasant pub. Yummy food.
I wanted to order fish and chips since we were here in london visiting. was skeptical about an indian place.this was literally the best fish and chips i’ve ever had.we’ve ordered several other times in multiple restaurants and can’t find it as good.we will return.
Good place for snack and have some beer 🍺 if you like it.
Indian food was excellent. Fish and chips were ok.
Absolutely wonderful Indian food and great local beers. A proper English pub but with great food.
Great little Pub! With delicious Indian food.
Cater for allergies, great food and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere.
Tasty food but took almost one hour for a fish and chips so only eat here if you got all the time in the world to wait for it
Lovely staff, remembered us after our first time (perhaps it was our need for gluten free?). Great comfortable atmosphere, lots of seating, and some nice seating outside with heat lamps when it got cool in the evening. They have phenomenal Indian food, miles better than the Dishoom we had earlier that week (which was disappointing). The shepherds pie was delicious as well, very flavorful, excellent sized portion. I also really enjoyed the fish and chips. The fish was one of the biggest I had in London! For celiacs: very accommodating and gluten-aware with food, which leaves you with lots of options! The cider they have is also gluten-free, so no worries there either. One of our favorite places, we will be back next time we visit!
The epitome of London. Cosy traditional pub with indoor and outdoor seating - marrying traditional ales, porters, lagers, and ciders with an authentic North Indian menu. I can’t think of anything more London. And the food is shockingly good. Forget Dishoom - come here instead.
Great pub with delicious Indian food. We had the butter chicken, shrimp curry, chili spiced chicken and briyani. Every dish was delicious 👍
What a fantastic pub! Such personal service and very well kept. Great selection of ales.
Very helpful staff, food was excellent! we were made very welcome,It is deffently worth the visit.... reccomend 100%
Wonderful local pub with a friendly host, Michael. Excellent Indian food!
Lovely atmosphere, great pub for locals or visitors and delicious curries. It can feel a bit tight and cramped if you are having dinner, but I suppose it does add to the cosy feel.Make sure you book a table for dinning, as this place can get very busy.
Some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. This pub was down the street from our hotel and we had stopped in a few years ago. We saw the kitchen pumping out dishes but didn’t eat since we had just come from dinner. 2 1/2 years later we returned determined to eat there. We were not disappointed!! Highly recommend eating here if you are in the area.
good pub, nice atmosphere but most importantly really delicious Indian foods
Absolutely delicious food and the friendliest owner. Will definitely be back and this place is worth a visit!!!
Not bad. Nice easy going atmosphere in this Fuller’s pub so the ales are nice and fresh. The Indian food is good too - though a tad on the expensive side. They cheat a bit to pad out the mixed grill - so you think you’re picking up a piece of chicken tikka but actually it’s an onion bhaji!
A good tavern for a drink and a fish and chips
The food was delicious and fresh tasting. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
Good Indian/Nepali food. Priced on the high side.I think they do not really like lone female tea drinkers. I arrived earlier than intended and had to explain we had a table booked to eat shortly to avoid being shooed out, despite plenty of empty tables. They dont like workmen either. Turned away as wearing work boots. The sign is not ironic.
Stopped by here for lunch in January 2022 and enjoyed the experience. Quite a small pub with a cosy bar area and a few seats, with another space more suited to meals, plus outdoor seating for warmer days. I had the chicken jelfrazi which was outstanding. However quite expensive including £4.50 for standard plain rice which wasnt included with the curry. Overall through a very nice atmosphere and pub.
lovely pub, great Indian food and decorations!
I’m in London 3-4 times a month for the last 6 years or so, visited many pubs and restaurants in that time, this is one place I keep coming back to. Low key neighborhood pub, friendly employees, great food!
I stumbled upon this place by chance after taking a wrong turn and am i glad i did. the real ale is very well kept and discovering that they served Indian food i had to invite some friends down to give it a try. The food was amazing and the all four of us thought so. i will definitely be returning. An absolute gem
What a nice pub. Its getting 5 star due to the service, we we’re made to feel so welcomed and we were so well looked after. Quite a rarity in this day and age. Really Impressed by the young lady who served us, attention to detail such as knowing when we were ready for another drink and providing table service. Really polite, a model example of how to treat your patrons. I was up in London for work and happens to pop in with my colleagues, I am so glad I did, will make the trek out to this pub with my friends and family, it worth the trip if they continue to treat their customers as highly as they did on my random visit.
Lovely atmosphere, really feels dated in a good way, antiques hanging from the ceiling, rifles fixed on the wall, old medicine bags and pots & pans.It was pricey but that is what youll expect with the location {Earls Court with Kensington Olympia around the corner}.Currys from Northern India (cooked for maharaja):Expensive, whilst looking at the menu, a history lesson on the back of the menu regarding the building Taj Mahal. There is also information regarding spices and their benefits included in the menu.We only bought one drink each, double lambs Rum with lemonade and double Remy Martin on the rocks at the cost of £20.80.The website offered a dine in only option but I did see a couple of bags of food being handed to a just eat delivery driver.Sure to return in the future to try the currys that are cooked for maharaja/maharajah.
Great little pub with the best Indian food!! The garlic naan is superb!
Went there as staying nearby but in future I will walk by as its simply over priced. Had one beer and would have had more but, No one in their right mind should pay nearly £7 for just a pint of beer that is the same beer that you can get down the road a hell alot cheaper. I think it only survives on the nice food rather than a drinkers pub. So drinkers go else where, food peeps give it ago.
Local pub with Indian finesse! Sumptuous Indian food alongside regular English fare in a traditional pub setting!
Came across this place by chance and glad I did. Its a gorgeous old pub with all the charm youd expect from an old country pub, but serves simply the best Indian food around. It totally eclipses many local Indian restaurants for quality and price, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I havent tried the British menu yet, but if the curry is anything to go by it will be amazing. A real gem!
Traditional Indian cuisine and excellent customer service. The place and food 🥘 are just perfect for a nice break after work or hoppy hour.
Great traditional pub. Superb Indian food along with great traditional British pub dishes. Definitely worth a visit. The dish in the picture is a chicken thali. Where you get the delicious chicken curry, dhal, rice, vegetable dry curry, naan, poppadoms and dips.
Incredibly friendly and welcoming pub. I certainly wouldnt call it a gastro pub, as it has not opted for a modern look, but has stuck to its heritage.Good choice of drinks and the Indian food is fantastic. Im not a lover of Indian fodder, but could not recommend more. Very reasonable, inviting and dog friendly.Perfect for a mellow night out.
The best curry in London! Great variety of lager and ale. Great outdoor sitting. We go there very often and adore the place. A jug of pimms in the summer? Yes, please!
I was there for a private party, so Im not sure how that compares to the usually evenings. But the buffet was very good and the setting/ environment was very nice.
My husband and I loved our meals - the Saag lamb with medium size had a nice healthy kick to it and my husband enjoyed his Chicken Tikka also with medium spice. The bartender was helpful and gave me an excellent recommendation based on my badge description of what I thought I wanted. We will definitely come back in next time we are in the area.
We had a good time here as a group having lunch - they have a large selection of Indian dishes of which most were very good. Service was generally friendly and attentive on a quiet Sunday lunchtime.
