Meat-free burgers are given the creative treatment at this vibrant, relaxed venture with a hip vibe.
Great burger and you cant really feel its not real meat.Staff was very friendly and kind.Vurger was good and served quickly.Only thing I didnt like was that the AC was on (in the middle of Novemberand it was cold!
The vurger never lets us down! The food is so good, it’s “fast food” but something about it feels cleaner than other places. The staff are always lovely and the service is quick and efficient. My favorite is the chicken dippers and Mac and cheese! 10000% reccomend for vegans looking for comfort food!
Amazing food, contactless ordering if you need it and a nice quiet atmosphere (at the time we wenta great location not far from both Shoreditch overground and Liverpool St Station so a great little treat after some shopping.I got the Buffalo "Chicken" and the flavours were great. Sauce lovely, "Chicken" was a great texture and flavour. My only gripe would be the drinks selection. 1.95 for water is pretty steep. Will be going again! Want to try their Shakes next time!!
Wow. I have eaten a LOT of veggie / vegan burgers in my time, but The Vurgers chicken burgers are the BEST chicken style burgers I have ever tasted. Theyre extraordinarily good. No wonder the place was absolutely packed on a gloomy Tuesday night! The service was brilliant, the Oreo milkshake was delicious, and the only thing that was slightly annoying was that there werent enough seats! But once I bit into that burger (standing in the windowit didnt really matter. Supremely good.
Its good. Seemed propped up by deliveroo orders hidden away down a back alley, but service was good. Bit of a wait for food, but not so much to dock any stars.
Best vegan lunch in London. Probably also the best plant-based burger I’ve ever eaten. Worth taking the time to get to this place and taste this amazing burger.100% convincing plant-based meat and cheese.Saucy and well seasoned. The mango shake was absolutely delicious!
An amazing burger, whether youre vegan or not. Great sides too, and the staff was super nice.
Lovely place with great staff, well worth a visit if youre in the the area!
Fabulous!!! Everything we tried was very tasty!!! Charlie our server was top notch and so kind x. Highly recommend. My hubby is not vegan he had the vegan BBQ pork burger and really liked it. I had Chicken crispers and 50/50 fries. Sooooo good. Yummy. If you are not in London they have locations in Brighton and Manchester. Definitely worth a trip. Mmmmmmmm 😁
19:30 on a friday evening, I had to wait 25 mins for my meal. 3 people in the kitchen and they cant handle more than 3 orders which were being processed with mine. The staff are very lazy and need to be trained to handle more than one order at a time. Very disappointing for the price I paid. I wont come here again as service is terrible. No manager around to whip the staffs behind. Do yourself a favour, go somewhere else unless you like slow service.
It was a while back since I have been to this one but I just wanted to post this about my experience and what people are giving one star about. The burger is made with beans, tofu(?and is heavy for those not accustomed with fibre thus it would cause some discomfort - there are no artificial binders afaik and yes it does crumble and the texture soft. The cheese is decent and holds the burger together some way and it can be hot. I have tried to eat there burgers gracefully however I often find slightly disammbled or eating middle eastern style and scooping the food with the bun. The fries are not cooked to order afaik and would be in holding space. You could ask for fresh batch, they wont bite if you ask... I tend to stuff fries into the bun. Well, why not. One thing, take wet wipes, your paws will need them as will your face... tuck in enjoy... be happy! x
I love the Vurger Co! I mainly order from them on Deliveroo, but feel like the praise should be shared wider 📢 . I love that they have GF burger buns, which are actually super soft and tasty, and a great selection of sides. The hunny chicken burger and the dippers with smoky bbq are my go to favs. While I don’t interact with them in person, the folks at Vurger co always leave me a cute note on the delivery bag and have gone out of the way to deliver (heha good experience - even hooking me up with a fav that wasn’t showing up on the menu. Thanks team, I appreciate you! 💖
We’ve eaten vegan fast food all over Europe, and Vurger Co was the winner for us. Phenomenal vegan buffalo “chicken” sandwich, which is prepared gluten free (yay). They also offer a gluten free bun that’s actually good, not to mention gluten free fauxzarella sticks that are to die for. The sauces are also excellent (our favorite was the honey mustard). Didn’t try the vegan milkshakes but wish we’d had room. If only we had a Vurger Co in New York!
My favorite vegan burger in London. Amazing gluten free options, delicious milkshakes and fries. Honestly, 10/10
Great spot! Not only is everything vegan but it can all be gluten free too!!🤘🏻 The staff are always super friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend. All the shakes are unreal!
Great little vegan spot with cracking food. We got two burgers, tater tots with the garlic parm dip (unreal), a chocolate brownie shake and banoffee shake. Some of the best vegan food Ive ever had, and the staff were so lovely. Highly recommended.
Amazing vegan burgers - we had the New York Melt and the crispy chicken burger with fries, tater tots and mozzarella sticks. The tater tots were such a highlight, great food all around.
Probably the best vegan burgers you would try. Unless told they are vegan you wouldn’t guess it, whip cream on the milkshake is a must (also veganit’s just brilliant how well the texture and the feeling of ordinary ingredients have been achieved.Warning: take rings off because it’s messy time
Amazing food in a really nice location. Its definitely quite difficult to find meat alternative restaurants, even in London. The menu at Vurgers is incredible - amazing tastes, flavours and sauces. Would definitely recommend the pulled pork and Buffalo Mozzarella burgers with Potato Tots. Really friendly and accommodating staff; couldnt do enough to help!
I had the chili chicken bowl. It was ok. The "chicken" was cold. The wooden fork they provided had trouble picking up the chicken pieces since the texture was so hard. The bowl had no edamame even though the menu said it should contain some. I had trouble with the online ordering system since I had no reception inside, and couldnt connect to the wifi. The overall flavor of the food was alright, it was filling, the staff was nice, the price was reasonable.
This was fantastic. I don’t know which item was best - our eyes were bigger than our appetites. We tried the honey chicken burger, fries, Mac and cheese, and shakes - all agreed on deliciousness! Probably one of the best vegan/veggie burger restaurants I have visited.
Seriously one of the best vegan burger places in London. It was outstanding! Reasonably priced and lovely vibe. This place can seriously compete with the flying duck in glasgow and if you dont know about just check it out if you are in Scotland Its also freaking amazing. The Vurger is the best vegan burger place in London. Period!
One of the best vegan burgers we’ve had! Cool vibe and nice service! Highly recommended!
The strawberry milkshake was one of the best I’ve ever had! Highly recommend. The burger was good, but had too much chipotle mayo. It was hard/messy to eat, so I couldn’t finish it all. The tater tots were great!Wifi didn’t work well. Location was clean.
Hands down my fav vegan place in London for a burger - the burger flavours are so good, sides are delicious and the milkshakes are elite
Had the best vegan shake, Mozzarella sticks & tater tots here. A little gem full of vegan junk food options which is just what you need sometimes! 🌿
Very nice place. 100% vegan 🌱I was looking forward to visit as it is one of the London vegan institution. They have a great lunch meal deal that consist in a burger (but you only can choose between 2 of them on the menu), a side and a drink. Very good value for money.Tasty burger, free sauces like mayo and ketchup, good size and filling portions (my friend couldn’t finish her burger!)Will definitely pop in again when in Shoreditch!
Vegan fast food except that you get your food delivered at your table after ordering and paying online. Probably not that healthy with the fried part, fries, sauce and all :but still tasty. Ideal for a quick lunch with friends.
Very nice burger place, being a quiet street from the busy Brick Lane and Shoreditch bustle.Great seating inside with hand sanitiser station, staff also wearing masks and gloves. Spacious and good seating areas with cute neon decor and plants.I ordered the New York deli burger with a beyond meat burger. Very tasty and well cooked. You would have to look twice to believe it was a vegan burger. Fillings/sauces were good.Very nice option for a quick lunch or a casual dinner for vegans and vegetarians, or anyone wanting to try new things!Cannot wait to try the milkshakes.*UPDATE*Tried their Christmas turkey burger and the festive praline milkshake! So delicious! I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to explore fun sides to veganism!
I was a bit disappointed by The Vurger Co given all its hype. Perhaps it is because I didn’t get a burger there although I am not usually a burger type of person unless the bun is also very good. I did try their truffle Mac and cheese and crackling tots special. I enjoyed both . The truffle Mac isn’t your typical Mac n cheese. It’s not that creamy except for the bottom few pieces of pasta. The top of it though was on the drier side. I still liked it because I like anything that’s cheese and pasta and it wasn’t salty either. The crackling tots were quite nice although I would’ve liked to see more crackling pieces. The BBQ sauce was good but seemed a bit skimpy as well.
So its coming from someone who had more burgers since I swapped to a plant-based lifestyle but OMG! 10/10 on the burgers. Great location so easy to find & it is high up there with the best vegan burgers in town 🙌🏽 I was not amazed by the mac&cheese but to be fair the burger and side is more than filling😉👍🏽 must-visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
No trip going to London is complete without a trip to Vurger. Delicious vegan gluten free burgers, served with fries which are amazingly seasoned, and the milkshake is to die for. My favourite is super smooth hazelnut milkshake with vegan cream on top. And you can get your burgers cut in half woo
Their sweet chilli chicken bowl was amazing! I didnt enjoy the auburger so much, but my friend did, so different tastes I guess. The servers were so lovely too. Would definitely go again!
Some of the best vegan burgers I’ve had, recommend for both vegans and non vegans alike
Honestly if I was to have any fault with The Vurger Co it’d be the price however the portions are so so big, the flavours are amazing and the staff are so nice so it’s Gucci.I got the auburger which I won’t lie I should’ve expected to be similar to a vegetable burger (I mean it’s in the name lolbut still wasn’t bad, especially with all of the toppings 😋😋 I’ll definitely try the vegan chicken burger or classic burger OR finally try a salad bowl from there next time!Oh also those fries yes pleaseeeee
So yummy. I had the buffalo vurger, the texture was so chicken-y I was scared for a second. Portions are filling too, but still a tiny bit too expensive when you consider that chips are not included. I would at least like to see a little discount when you combine chips with a burger, like a meal-deal.
I stumbled upon this place by accident but Im glad I did! My partner and I are slowly transitioning to vegan and these burgers were so damn delicious! I ordered the buffalo "chicken" burger with sweet potato fries, and my partner got the classic black bean burger with regular fries. If I was local to London I would eat here often!I highly recommend eating here, vegan or not. The "chicken" burger will blow you away and has an amazing texture!
The New Yorker was absolutely ridiculous. The texture of the burger with the cheese was incredibly delicious. I liked it more than the auberger but perhaps that’s because i tried the New Yorker first. The tomato Mac and cheese was so lovely and paired perfectly with my vegan red wine. Only feedback is to use less single use plastic, despite it being compostable for water and wine.
Nice vegan spot for a quick bite to eat. Atmosphere lacking a little bit but can not fault the food. Prices are fair for the volume of food you get.I had a GF Beyond Meat Burger which was so yummy and filling. With a side of potato chips which were very tasty! Would recommend.Everything is recyclable and sustainable which is wonderful!
Omg , best burger EVER.Had the auburger and the big mex along with some 50/50 fries (half regular, half sweet potato)Auburger had a smoky hint to it which was balanced by tangy gherkins and some pickled cabbage (I think)And the big mex (we substituted the classic patty insteadwas amazing! The jackfruit and the queso go so well together!Little sad we didnt get some Kentucky bites because they were sold out but maybe next time!
I really like this place. The food is good and the atmosphere is great. I like the simple layout of the place which felt chilled and laid back, a feeling I also get when I visit a Honest Burger restaurant. The menu is varied featuring a range of vegan meals including burgers, salads, macaroni cheese, nuggets and range of side dishes. I had the Kentucky Bites, which is a take on spicy chicken nuggets, which came with a barbecue sauce that tasted incredible. I also the sweet potato wedges that were nice and a strawberry milkshake which is one of the best I have ever tasted. The food is really good if a bit pricey but at the same time portions were really generous. I couldnt finish the food I ordered. So I am a bit conflicted when deciding if it is good value for money It is by far the best purely vegan burger restaurant I have been to. I will definitely be going back again to try out one of the burgers and the Mac and Cheese.
Disappointing for a place that is supposed to specialize in vegan burgers. The food was well below average - we ordered the Classic Burger, The Eastside Sub and Mac n Cheese. The Classic burger was actually tasty but nothing amazing , Leon Love burger is tastier and better value I have to say. The latter two items were not good at all. The sub was dry and flavorless and I can not comment on mac n cheese-just unbearable.I have experienced a lot of vegan foodand this is just poor, overpriced and feels artificial(especially the fake cheeses, cmon there are some good ones out there and you pick the rubbish ones).Service was not great either. When we came to collect food the sub had fallen apart with items of sub scattered on the plate. She clearly saw it and took no notice. A member of staff was having their lunch and had exactly the same sub wrapped up. If you know they fall apart and you wrap them for yourself, why not ask customer??? Rude
Amazing! It’s expensive, but it’s totally worth it! It’s the best burger in London. And the Mac n Cheese is unbelievable. You can’t even say it’s vegan. You must try!!
A real nice place.Limited menu, but in someway thats beneficial.I got the classic burger, which I upgraded to the lunch meal deal, which is a real bargain.Fries are your standard American salty fries- tasty.I wasnt expecting the burger to be so big, and I ended up cutting it in half to be able to eat it. The burger sauce kinda drowns out the taste of the patty, but the patty was still quite nice. The vegan brioche bun was nice too.Overall, really enjoyed this meal, just wish there wasnt so much sauce in the burger
Love it here! Perfect for people who love to indulge on junk food! The burgers are perfection and so are the fries! Came here twice already.. dont mind to come by again! 😍😋I do miss the sauces dispenser 😭although I can see why they took it out.
Went for lunch with friends and tried the Holy Habanero in a bowl and the Classic in a bun. Loved them both, but if I had to choose I would say the classic, was just perfect! One of the best vegan and non-vegan burgers that Ive tried. The sweet potato fries are insanely good!
Love this place! Great burgers but also amazing staff, so helpful, friendly and professional - and they do salad options for having the burgers as well as gluten free buns! A great find for gluten free vegans plus I ordered from them on Deliveroo too and it couldn’t have been any quicker. Highly recommend ❤️
Woah vegan food is expensive! £18 for a burger, fries and milkshake - for one! Food is of a high quality however with a lovely not-so-sweet milkshake, and delicious sauce and bun in the burger; only thing is the actual bean burger patty is rather bland.
Unfortunately I found the Vurger Co a disappointment. Prices verge on being high, but for a specialist vegan establishment I wasnt surprised or put off. The oreo milkshake I had was great and didnt taste much different to a dairy oreo shake. The fries were excellent, and the mac n cheese was a nice creamy pasta though not very cheesy in flavour and a bit softer than Id ideally like. The issue was with the burger. The bun itself and all the toppings were great, including the vegan chilli mayo available in bottles on the tables. It was the burger itself I did not enjoy. I ordered the Classic which is black bean based, and it was exactly what I had a feared; a bland, mushy burger that got squashed into a paste through the pressure of biting into it while holding the bun. As I got more than halfway through it, I started to notice the burger sticking to the roof of my mouth unpleasantly. If your classic burger is no better than the veggie burger option at any pub, that is a big issue for a specialist burger place. It is a real shame as all the other aspects of the meal were really good. The decor is cool, music is great and staff are friendly. Better burgers needed!
Great vegan burgers! Its refreshing that Vurger Co try something different from the faux meat type of burger. Vegetables are the stars of their burgers - aubergines, mushrooms, jalapenos... The fries were very nice, but nothing too special. The Mac and Cheese was surprisingly good and definitely one of the best vegan Mac and Cheeses Ive had before. For burger lovers, vegan or not, its definitely worth a visit!
