Small plates & eclectic American mains are served in this casual, brick-walled eatery & wine bar.
The Vineyard Wine Company was excellent and very accomdating.Ruth Chris in Lake Mary was very disappointing yesterday. We made reservations for Magical Dining for 10 months ago only to find out yesterday that RC would only accommodate 8 for magical dining. We tried hard to get it for 9 but RC would not relent. At the last minute we called The Vineyard and they were very accomdating and worked well with us. We all went to the Vineyard and had a great time. Our young server, Thomas, was exceptional.
Good food & long list of wines by glass. Ahí tuna was delicious
The food is not that good the duck was a big disappointment. Went back for a second time the food was crazy and took more than an hour to come and they was not even busy. Went the food finally come it was cold like not joking laterally cold like the server forgotten our food we just pack it to go to avoid any confusion to the server.
Is a nice place , we loved . But just one little thing. The waitress come every 4 minutes to ask . Everything is ok. Please . People has a conversation. And the is no nice.
The bison burger was yummy! Our server was great.
Mikala was literally the best server, she was attentive and ensured our drinks were always filled and that our food came out promptly. Love her
One of my favorite places! Whether Im sitting down for a fancy meal, grabbing a salad before the gym, or sipping on a cappuccino with my laptop, the Vineyard is my place. Mikala and Lauren are the most thoughtful, personal, and fun server/bartenders Ive encountered. They never fail to make me feel welcomed and comfortable at each visit. Id hire them for any personal event in a heartbeat!
Lauren & Mikala took excellent care of my party at the bar 8/23/2022I’ll be coming back just for them!Incredibly accommodating and great menu knowledge :)
On Sundays we somehow always end up at the Vineyard brunch! We love it there! The staff is super and the food delish! Have to admit tho that we havent tried everything bec we all have our faves. And the guitar player, Mike Petrovic, is excellent!
We had not visited this local-to-us restaurant for some time but we will be back soon. Our request to be seated at one of the nicer tables (not all arewas granted. My wife selected a good wine from the extensive list and the bar made an excellent Titos gimlet. My favorite meat loaf (very rarely seen on restaurant menuswas as great as I remember. My wifes shrimp and grits was a bit on the rich and spicy side but still very good. Isabella was an outstanding server. Four Stars +
Always delicious. I enjoy going to this restaurant with my long time dear friend, JCM, whenever Im in town. Service is friendly and attentive.
This place NEVER disappoints. The menu is diverse, and if that doesnt work, the dishes are customizable and the friendliness of the staff is always amazing. They have a great selection of wine and a full bar. Cant miss dining.
A wonderful evening with family! Isabella was fantastic as our server. All of us enjoyed our delicious meals including dessert!!
Yummy dishes and great service from Isabella. Cant wait to come back and get more. Pictured is the delicious lobster mac.
I was really excited to try this place. Unfortunately the food was mediocre at best. They charge 5 star prices for Applebees quality food. Dont get me wrong, I like Applebees, but I expect much better for the 5 star price tag. The service was great and the decor is beautiful, until you go to the bathroom and see all the storage like empty kegs, which wouldnt be so bad if the smell wasnt there. For the price you are paying, you can find much better places, where you leave feeling your money was well spent. Do yourself a favor and try somewhere else.
First time but certainly not our last. This is a very charming place. Prices are a little high but reasonable considering the quality and presentation of the restaurant and food. Beautiful ambiance and wonderful food. French onion soup, quiche, creme brulee, all cooked to perfection. Yeah, well be back.
Wonderful atmosphere and service. Great wine selection. Food was delicious!
If you enjoy... Love... Crave a French Dip. This is the place!! Made me return. Was VERY good. Staff friendly... Outside eating availableUpdate 6-2-22.... Still awesome. Server Arienne was great. A must visit.. will not be sorry
I just had the best dining experience at this restaurant. Service was top notch! The hostess was lovely and our waitress was amazing! (I forgot her nameshe was so attentive and sweet . The wine was delicious and our food was incredible!!! The restaurant is beautiful! Overall a wonderful dining experience! Thank you!
Great food and great atmosphere!
Wife and I came for our Anniversary. Waiter was very attentive, and meat loaf was absolutely Devine. My wife ordered the salmon, and came out dry and smelled very fishy. We sent it back and the waiter was very professional and took it off the bill. The water tasted like it was dish water, the glases looked frosted, but it was the water being that cloudy. My wife and I then spent 3 days sick as a dog. This was the only place we ate that day, 4/20/22, so we couldnt have gotten sick from anywhere else. Dont recommend, not worth 3 days of sickness.
Worth another visit. We went here for my wifes birthday dinner. She had the fried olives appetizer, a grouper and risotto special, and the creme brule. I had the prime rib and mushroom soup, an 8oz filet, sautéed spinach, and Burgundy mushrooms. My wife enjoyed everything she had, but cautioned that the sausage stuffing in the mushrooms was spicy. I thought my soup was going to be broth, but was a (sourcream base. While the prime rib and mushrooms in the soup were good, the cream base was not what I was hoping for (I originally was going for the French Onion soup, but was intrigued when the waiter offered). The filet was as good as Shulas nearby. The Burgundy mushrooms were smothered in Burgundy gravy (see photo after the mushrooms were eaten). Plenty of mushrooms in the dish, but way too much gravy. I thought these would simply be mushrooms sautéed with Burgundy wine. Still, they were enjoyable. The spinach was also not quite what I expected. More stems than leaves. Next time I will go with the green beans. The atmosphere was good. A bit relaxed and comfortable inside. The few tables outside were baking in the afternoon sun. The only true annoyance were a swarm of tiny flying insects. The waiter played it off well by saying it "is Florida". At least they werent love bugs.
I had the half Saint Lucia salad & it was delish. We also had an order of calamari for the table & it was fabulous! The restaurant is beautiful & the service was excellent. Ill be back next time Im in town.
Absolutely loved this restaurant. From the ambiance, to the decor, the setting is very welcoming upon entering. The service was good and the cuisine was excellent. Our pallets were extremely satisfied and the experience was memorable. I highly recommend a visit if you have a chance. I look forward to returning.
We wandered in on Saturday night without reservations. Delicious food, talented two person music group. Server Lucy was dry-ironic-great!Recommend the butter leaf wedge, duck breast, bread pudding, Klinker red.
The service and food was very good spinach artichoke appetizer was excellent and the pork chop dinner I had was very good would highly recommend this restaurant and are hummus appetizers are very excellent
We are in Lake Mary annually for a conference. We were a group of ten looking for a new restaurant to try. They put us in a private room that was very nice. As the wines flowed we all agreed that our meals were very good. The meatloaf was a big hit. Our server was Wanda. She was delightful, professional and very patient with a bunch of dirty old men. We will be back.
Delicious, beautifully plated food, great wine selection and very attentive, friendly service provided by Ramon. My husband also loved his Cherry-wood Smoked Old Fashion!
I wish I got a picture.. we ordered the maple-glazed duck and I was floored by how good it was. I’ve only had duck a few times and this was not only the best duck I’ve had, but one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. It was absolutely incredible and I had the shiraz blend, my partner had the recommended wine, both went perfectly with it. I told the server he had to thank the chef for me for giving me one of the best meals ever.
I’ve been here a couple of times and the food is always great! Gets packed most nights, and they have live music. It is very loud in there so you have to yell at times, but the live music is good and the service has always been good. The lasagna is great and my favorite is the iron skillet pie. It’s absolutely amazing!! Apple pie on a whole new level!!! Cocktails are always great as well, and despite always being busy they seem to always get your order out right away.
Looked around at reviews and decided on dining in! Was greeted to a lukewarm reception from the hostess and some stares; perhaps I was dressed too casually? We were seated promptly and greeted with the saving grace of our visit: Mikala was a wonderful server and attended to our needs exactly as we needed them.We ordered some appetizers for the table, and our drinks paired with our entrees with a fantastic recommendation from Mikala. I was informed of the special, a salmon fillet with a sweet-chili guava glaze and basmati rice and it immediately piqued my interest. The Sauvignon Blanc "Spy Valley" paired wonderfully with the sweet and spicy salmon, and is definitely a bottle Ill be on the lookout for in the future. Now, my partner had ordered a Manhattan and discovered a short gray hair in her drink. Mikala was very understanding and prompt in resolving the issue for us; to the apparent disdain and glare from one of the bartenders. I understand liquor waste is never easy to swallow, but neither is hair. The special of the day salmon was very nice. For $28 though, I wouldve appreciated a side. The menu is on the pricier side for sure, but its the little details that make the difference. The calamari fried with flour instead of just a dredge came out crispy and flaky, and the truffle fries were aromatic but not overpowering. The sweet, savory and spicy combination of the salmon and glaze, topped with tangy guacamole and fresh avocado was bliss for my taste buds. Washing it down with "Spy Valley" is definitely an experience Id like to have again......however, I do not think my experience warrants another visit soon. I dont mind dishing out for good food and presentation. Uncomfortable stares and a glare over a cocktail definitely has me hesitating to host another dinner at The Vineyard Wine Company.
Love this place! The the atmosphere is great on our last visit we discovered the back room with the big booths, very beautiful area. The food is always well prepared and delicious...My only complaint... We go for brunch and the champagne service is sometimes very slow. This is not due to the server, its due to the service bar.Brunch always seems to be very busy. I think it would be a good decision to add another person behind the bar that can tend to the service bar.Im sure some people think the slow beverage service is the fault of the server, which it is not.
I had a fish wrap with a side of French onion soup. My wife had the quiche with a side salad. Both were ok but not great. The fish wrap was a little bland. The French onion soup was good but the bread used in it was the wrong flavor - the rye was way to strong. The portions were good. Lunch was about $15 pet person. The atmosphere was very nice and very well decorated.
Amazing food! Wonderful service. You would have to nitpick to find anything wrong.
Greatest selection of wines and fantastic pairing opportunities with amazing food. The owner knows wines and has an amazing and awe-inspiring collection. Must-visit when in the Lake Mary area!
Love this restaurant! Fantastic food, excellent wait staff, superb ambience and WOW, the wine cellar is fantastic!
My new favorite place to dine in the area. Tasty starters like fried stuffed olives and lobster puffs. Highly recommend the Meatloaf with Gouda cheese or Cowboy ribeye for main. Nice atmosphere, attentive staff, checks all the boxes.See you there!
Was with a large group. The service was good despite our being a little difficult to deal with since we arrived at different times. The food excellent! I very much enjoyed the wine as well. Easy walking distance from the Hilton makes it a good place to eat if staying there.
I’ve never almost cried from the delicious taste of food before, let alone on each course! The staff was extremely kind and helpful, and later on in our dinner the owner came by and asked how everything was!The atmosphere was romantic, with soft lighting and a few private booths and alcoves. There was also an area for a larger group for events. They also have a glass wall that displays a beautiful arrangement of their vast wine selection.
I went to Vineyard on a business trip and it did not disappoint. It is a smaller, intimate restaurant. I love that it is family owned, I believe brother and sister. I had the meatloaf (which I really am not a fan ofas it was recommended by a friend and it was delicious!!! I had Gouda in it and it not your typical meatloaf dish!! They were only selling wine by the glass, not sure if this is all the time or a Covid thing???? So I got a glass of Sangria (redand it was great. Definitely will go back if Im in the area again.
Eeehhh. Nothing special. Overpriced. The food was average. Service was average. Atmosphere is spot on. Quaint and quiet. Great place for a business meal or quiet date as far as atmosphere. I ordered the fish special. Could have been great but it had no glaze or sauce so it was dry. My friend ordered meatloaf. She said it was fine, but not great. The banana bread for dessert was really good. I ordered a g&t, it was not well made. Not stirred. Will probably try again, maybe it was a weird night. For over $120 though, I did not feel it was a good value overall.
Family dinner-tried the olives appetizer, the lobster flaky dough appetizer, truffle fries, salmon salad, steak salad, pancetta pasta and shrimp and grits. Everything was very good. Shrimp and grits had a little too much of the sauce which was a bit overpowering, but the dish itself was good. We finished with the blueberry cheesecake, which was to die for! Really good menu items. Great wine and beer list as well. It was a bit on the pricier end but it was well worth it for the quality of the food. Recommend!
Had an excellent early Valentine’s Day lunch over the weekend. The lobster Rolls are so good my New England native wife said thy were the best she’s had in Florida 🤣 the truffle fries were amazing as well. We also had the bruschetta appetizer which was a perfect blend of chilled tomatoes, onion, goat cheese on a thin baguette with the balsamic vinegar sprinkled all over it. Yummy.
Excellent place to eat, drink and be merry! I ordered their cowboy ribeye and my hubby ordered their lobster risotto. I asked for steak sauce and never opened it! Food was superb and completely worthy of a stellar rating. Atmosphere is not chaotic at all. There will be the occasional table of loud mouths anywhere. The beautiful decor and relaxing setting drowns out the noise. Second time visited today for my birthday and left happy and satisfied.
In town for work and needed somewhere to go solo. Saw great reviews online and was tempted by pictures of risotto. I was NOT disappointed! Lauren was able to seat me outside with no reservation on a gorgeous night. 😍 My server Lucy was friendly and helpful. The lobster risotto was so yummy I wanted to lick the plate. Robbie, one of the owners, was even the one to deliver food and check in. Very much would recommend this place to anyone local or in town for a visit.
The food was great. My husband had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes, I had the lobster risotto. It was very good. Our server was very attentive. We also had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, Robby. He was welcoming and invested in making sure everyone had an enjoyable time. It’s an intimate setting with live music. Thankfully the music isn’t too loud leaving you to shout over your food. Overall we had an exceptionally enjoyable date night.
Came in for date night. Live band with a wonderful couple Joe and Gabrielle! The owner Robbie was accommodating to our special night! Thank you to our server, did not quite catch her name, my apologies! She has long black hair with beautiful eyes ☺️. Thank you all!
Had never been here before, but my college-graduating daughter picked it almost randomly for a post-ceremony lunch for 9. I’m not sure I remember being happier with a meal out. Food was great; service was pleasant, personal, and attentive. Unrequested special congratulatory dessert was presented at the end of the meal. Wonderful, memorable experience. We’ll be looking for a way to return.
We decided to try this place for Sunday brunch and we fell in love. We always sit at the bar anywhere we go and we had a great time. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks and food. His recommendations where on point and the French onion soup was delicious.
What a great restaurant! Our food was too delicious & Janine, our server was top notch. She tended to our every need & we were 8 people. The manager also took time to come over & greet our table. We definitely will return the next time we visit the area. Thanks so much.
