The Village Street Food Bar - Restaurant in Eindhoven, Netherlands
lekker en betaalbaar
Good quality food. Great service and the price is reasonable.
Good food
The place was lovely on a WC day. The food was excellent, the best burger Ive ever had.
Despite preparing for the WC Soccer, they were quick to come for our orders. The food was good and sitting outside on the teras was a relief after a busy day shopping.People were friendly and the location ia nice and central.Would most likely come back, not super, but grear value for money.
The place is just great, very different. The staff very polite and friendly. They served me very fast. And of course nice food.
Fine food, but overpriced and limited choice
Nice place, the quality of the food was just average and we would like the staff to be more smiley and friendly
Really good food (we had the bunny chow and fish and chips), excellent value for money.
Nice simple food for a fair price. Plenty of special beer. Friendly staff!
Staff is very friendly. Best food of Eindhoven. Ask for fish and chips or schnitzels. Awesome soundtrack and design.
The fish and chips are to die for.
Surprised by quality of food and fast service. Restaurant looks light, fresh but also cosy. The chicken burger is a must eat!
Went here for lunch, waiting for the neighboring OSheas to open. Food was really good, we were really surprised by the quality and speed. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Deducted one star though for the fact that we were seated in the corner of the restaurant. Right behind me were a set of doors, which I mistook for scenery, but which turned out to be a second entrance. So I was constantly being disturbed by people trying to enter the place, almost stumbling over me. Quick tip, if you have a second entrance, dont seat people right in front of it, or lock the door.
Best fish and chips Ive had in Holland!
The Village has warm, attentive and welcoming staff, who speak great English which is helpful for me. The menu is small but with a variety of options, including vegetarian. The atmosphere is warm, cozy and vintage style. I went with my husband. All the food we ordered was delicious, fresh tasting, with great flavor and and all for a good price. We ordered BBQ wings. I had the cauliflower coconut soup and my husband had the pulled pork sandwich which came with really tasty sweet potato wedges drizzled with balsamic and pomegranate seeds. The only downside was that they were out of the several of the beers my husband ordered off of the menu.
Really nice place, I tried the irish breakfast. It was really tasty and complete. Service fast and really kind. Recommended
The pulled pork was really good. I like the vintage atmosphere. (They have a serious heating problem, though, that they should fix ASAP. Its kinda weird having to explain to all customers that the front door has to be left open in the middle of winter because otherwise the place heats up like a furnace. Besides that the cold draft is unpleasant.)
The messy pulled pork is very good. Especially with the sweet potato wedges. Its enough to be considered a full meal. The Village is a small, cozy place with friendly people and a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely coming back to try some of the smaller dishes too.
