The View Restaurant in Medan

Never regret to stay here, clean and spacious room, nice view, delicious breakfast and the most important thing is super friendly staff especially Ms. Fira in front desk.just come and youll be treaten like a King & Queen.Definitely will comeback here if i come to Medan.

Overall Recommended.But due to Full Vacant, little crowded in waiting for Lift..

- Room is wide,- many option for breakfast- location very strategic, beside hotel is mall cambridge with various restaurant and starbucks coffee, j.co (mall entrance in lobby), +- 500 meter walk to garuda restaurant, bika ambon zulaikha, burger king, indomaret, madras village (culinary).

This mall well organized, not too big, as mall however, is served you well.

Nice place to see Medan city from above 👀

Big hotel but no provide free parking for long stays. Very Disappointed..

5star hotel that located at the same building with the mall. Which so much easier to go outside or just bough food. Nice hospitality. With nice breakfast and view. Unless the swimming pool if full with the kiddos at noon

Check in process was horrible, given only 1 access card, when requested one more for my wife it was chargable. Facilities are minimal: swimming pool and sauna are closed. Wifi is unstable. Room looks outdated, no bathtub only shower looks dirty full of watermark & stains. 5 star? No way, it barely achieves 2 star.

Look at the dust covering over the key scanner inside. It is inside the bed room.. well..a 5 star hotel ?? What a shame..

Room service was…. Not any word to say… room was dirty, old, unmaintained… I can only say that air condition was working… how you can change the roll paper and left it half? Even don’t mount in roller??

Cozy and nice room, but pool area to small, have no green area. Poor facility.

They mix receptionist, cashier and cs at same spot, it creates chaos in queque. It took almost one hour just to get my key (has been checked in online).The room.is nice cos it is executive suite, but the door is difficult to close, the tech said its been rotten ..the resto is also chaos with dull taste ..the officers has no smile there..stressful maybe. They mix smoke area with non, no border ..so.useless and def not comfortable. The only thing we are glab being here and has been staying here since old times cos of its location and also theres dying mall there to buy food if getting bored.The park area is also a mess..smell like septic tank. Too bad!

Need to q to get a sit, so crowded.Food is very standard....

Its my pleasure to visit the hotel quite good experience.

The hotel building is old.. bed was squeaky. Smoking area in the breakfast place is not outdoor or in a separate room.. so you can smell the smoke while you eat your breakfast, and the menu for breakfast doesnt change, imagine how bored we got! service was mediocre, especially at the breakfast place. This place is not service oriented. The only nice thing to say was the cleaner for the bedroom did a good job consistently.

Had decent staycation here. The room is neat and comfy. The gym and pool are open. You get access to the Mall. While you at the mall, be sure to try JJ steak.The breakfast were good. but some people are just ignorant, picking up food without using mask.The service are okay.

Great place, fantastic experience during we are stay for 3 nights. Nice swimming pool with jacuzi, but the room is small not so large with an old furniture.but one thing i loved is the bath tub in every room, so nice with warm water.near from the heart of the medan city.

High class venue, disappointed due to covid that live music is not happening at the moment.Amazing view of the city from the buffet restaurant a pleasure to spend time here, the staff were very polite and attentive.Would definitely recommend this place and so looking forward to visiting again when current restrictions are lifted.

I would not consider this as a 5 Stars Hotel quality. There are so many 4 star hotel better than this. But the price is also considered lower than most 5 star hotel.The Room is neat, comfy but like some small detail or essential things, which basically 5 stars wouldn’t missed them. The shower and bathtub are separated which is a plus. Anyway it’s a good hotel.

3 reason :1. we boom this room with 3 room with double bed( king sizeand paid all . from hotel arrange for us is twin bed room.said no room avaiable after do complain and want to refund they change room and said available2. service attitude is bad3. we have 3 room and still charge us for vip park.we plan to stay longer in this hotel but this hotel service is very very bad .. not qualify as stars hotel (1,2,3,4,5 stars )thanks for the bad experience to stay the hotel.

Fantastic hotel with friendly helpful staff and quite luxurious. I dont normally stay 5 star but couldnt resist at under $90 a night. The infinity glass sided pool is very fun. Rooms come with very thick walls and doors and the tv has all the standard cable. Hotel is on top of a mall which is great when you dont feel like room service.

I would like to express my truly disappointment on the management and service level of this hotel. I booked 6 rooms under my company, PT. Growth Asia for check-in 01 Jan 2020 & check-out 03 Jan 2020. In the beginning, through my company, I tried requesting earlier check-in but was told that it was not possible due to the new year event on the 31 Dec 2009 thus all staff probably very busy due to overtime and I was advised to check in around 02:00 pm on the 1st Jan 2020. I received this information from my company staff and I did not mind checking-in around 02:00 pm as per the initial notification. I indeed came earlier at around 01:30 pm at Hotel Lobby and proceed for check-in then as usual, I was doing the registration and check-in and told to wait for room readiness. Then the disaster scenario came where I was asked to keep waiting... waiting.... waiting.... and keep waiting... while the same lies of rooms were being cleaned up kept told by most all the receptionists stand-by on that day. The clean up took like forever. I got my first 3 rooms at above 03:00 pm and the remaining 3 rooms are given between 05:00 & 06:00 pm. It was a complete mess as these rooms are supposed to be provided for my family members from overseas which came to participate in my brothers wedding party. This hotel showed no commitment in doing proper services to their customer and keep telling lies in front of their customers.

Its hard to find spacious hotel rooms nowadays but this hotel has it! Clean room, very well maintained toilet. A strategic location, next to a mall. And very good breakfast options with tasty traditional cakes

As far as Medan goes this is the premier hotel to stay in. From arrival to checkout we really enjoyed our stay. It is situated above quite a nice shopping complex as well which is handy to have close throughout your stay. It is deserving of its star status with all the desired amenities and quite an extensive breakfast buffet. The best part about this hotel though would have to be the staff/service , all were extremely professional and eager to satisfy and make our stay more pleasant.

I went there for several times and their service never dissapoint me. Their meeting room is good (not too big and too small). Their room is very nice, spacious, luxurious. I like they provide a good and comfort work desk in their room so I can enjoy working and reading in my room.The staff is so helpful and friendly. And the other good part is this hotel is located in one area with the famous Cambridge Square Mall, so I just few steps away from my favorite restaurants and cafes.

Nice room. Clean. Enjoyable. Swimming pool ok. Need more chairs @the pool. If u have car park make sure to "ask" customerservice for parking pass. They not even mention it and u will pay nightly park 65.000. Overall is great

I don’t know how this hotel is rated as 5. I can give only 2 or 3 for the facilities and location. Smelly pillow and duvet. Toilet was clogged. Not helpful front desk. They didn’t tell me I need to put a deposit, and they blocked my card without notice. When I did, and I want to charge the facilities fees to the room, they said my deposit is not enough to be charged to the room. Very terrible and bad.

A bit disappointed by the hotel as it was rated higher than other hotels I prefer within the city.First of all the rooms and corridors seem to have made their time ( wallpaper with spots and different colours, rusty shower cords).View from 21st floor is awesome and lifts are fast although a bit slow to arrive.The swimming pool water was translucide rather than transparent and the area is not super welcoming. I would go there for a quick swim not for a long relaxing nap...The breakfast had the greatest variety of food amongst the others hotels I visited in Medan (3 types of milk, 3 types of porridge, lots of local food and jamuhbut the quality was not high.The staffs are friendly and welcoming. Reception staff were a bit overwhelmed by the check-out and I had to queue 20 minutes to check-in and two hour later I queued 20 minutes more to get my key ( room was not ready at noon). The key was not working and I had to go back again to the reception....

The ideal hotel for a family. Welcoming drinks are to be complimented. There is a mall right beside so shopping aint an issue. The rooms were classy and comfy and the bathroom was big and well maintained. Friendly atmosphere there. Price is very reasonable. Appreciate their service alot.😎

Good rooms. I love the shower and their bathrooms. The hotels and rooms are nice and clean. They need to improve the elevators. When I was there, only one or two worked so sometimes you have to wait a little bit too long. The location of the hotel is good. Its near the train station and streets that have street food that open at night. The hotel is also right next to Cambridge City Square so you wont have trouble finding coffee shop and food.
