Classic pub with a hideaway garden and TV sports, offering microbrewery beers and bar snacks.
Tiny lovely pub.. 😍
Very good traditional local
Pub appears very traditional from the outside facade but this is not reflected by the more modern interior in my opinion. That said, bar staff are extremely friendly and pub offers a decent selection of lager and real ales.
Charming pub , very nice people and such friendly service with outside seating and a rear secret garden and only 100 yards from Richmond Bridge.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Well looked after on a special afternoon for my mum. Weather and good service /food made for a very good visit for myself and a large group..
We went to this pub twice during our stay in London and we had a great time. The bartender is the loveliest lady who is a great conversationalist. She comes up with wonderful recommendations as well. I put her in charge of my drinks every time and all were wonderful! A random creep was talking to my mom and I, and she kicked him out (kindly and professionally of course). I want to come back to London soon just to visit. Thank you for everything ❤️
Amazing, what an awesome little pub, the lady serving us behind the bar, absolutely 💯
A great little pub. Local friendly. A lovely visit for all. Emma, Rachel, Sandra are amazing barkeeps. Richmonds best kept secret.
Lovely cosy pub with friendly people.
A sanctuary. Classic one room pub. Clean, pretty, comfortable. Super land lady. Im going back. Tiny hidden pub garden at back.
Loveley, friendly tiny olde world pub
Lovely accommodating pub in a great location! Good pit stop after a walk around Richmond Park!
Beautiful pub and lovely welcoming staff, nice little garden, wonderful atmosphere and very happy to have found this pub!
Warm friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, great funny staff. What a great place. Be back soon.
Myself and my friends got discriminated against and mocked for our taste in music without a refund on the jukebox. If I pay for a service I shouldn’t have to anticipate someone skipping songs I paid to hear. For reference I put on a mix of old school rock such as Toto/ Metallica and modern rock such as Linkin Park. That being said the service from the bar was good the drinks are some what overpriced.
Popped in yesterday purely by chance. What a lovely gem of a find! Absolutely the loveliest, friendliest landlady, who went out of her way to make us feel welcome and sorted out some garden seating with heating! Will definitely make it a point to visit whenever I’m in Richmond!
Small quirky pub great location nice ambience
Lovely place with a great barkeep.Pints are plentiful and good times are abundant!
Just reading Reviews about this pub hasdefinitively put me off coming here for a quiet safe drink. Please don’t report me to the police, they have the too much work already.
Small pub with a homely atmosphere, really feels like you are a guest in someones front room
Absolute pit of a pub. Poor service, rude and unhelpful staff, awful food and dodgy low brow drunken clientele. Avoid.
Just like being in a front room great place. Excellent atmosphere
Just seen a video on social media of the management allowing a drunk couple to verbally abuse someone for not wearing a mask though the person claims to have a medical exemption. Whether they do or not , there is no legal requirement to demand proof. Actively allowing and encouraging this behaviour in a publicly accessible business is disgusting. Its also interesting that the management threatens reviewers with police action , hilarious and clearly shows the mindset.
A pleasant pub to have a pint or two after walking the Capital Ring.
Nice selection of reasonably priced drinks, efficient and friendly staff.
Absolutely brilliant local pub, we had our wedding reception here and was perfect in every way. Top staff, amazing food, all of our guests were very happy and well catered to. Couldnt recommend highly enough, well be regulars now.
Thought of going here last year, now i heard that they wont let some people in.This makes me choose another place due to their discrimination. We will buy our beer somewhere else, your loss.
Stay away from here. A nasty alcoholic runs this places and she drinks vodka all day. Your find nothing of vintage here apart from the land lady.
Masks do not work. Youre more likely to get ill from wearing them. Also, stop scaring people with police 😂 writing negative reviews is not illegal, even if the reviews are illegitimate (most you can do is get Google to delete them). And the only details you have is their first names - thats nowhere near enough to prosecute.
Dirty place just got back from booking a table, the staff kept pulling away there sweaty mask that they kept breathing into, then began touching glasses, plates, cutlery etc, basically there saliva and bacteria droplets was on everything that customers eat from. Also one particular staff member clearly struggling to breath, as they where re-inhaling Carbon Diooxide rather than the normal natural amount of Oxygen. Stay well clear, complaint submitted to Food Safety Team.
Excellent little pub. The staff are welcoming, friendly & helpful. My wife & I had a really pleasant couple of hours in here, getting out of the sun. I highly recommend it.
Great place. Cosy and comfortable. Lovely staff and friendly locals. Definitely one of my highlights when I lived in Richmond.
Always great experience at the Vic, great staff, service and well run; one of the best in Richmond.
Very disappointed this week. Ordered two glasses of mulled wine they were just substandard. No spices no flavour just tasted like warm red wine with a hint of cinnamon. Previous week the mulled wine was just amazing! Star anise, cinnamon stick, cloves, orange and lemon zest!! A proper job. Go to stiens on the river and order a pint of great German beer Erdinger has flavour and a bit of kick.
Small but friendly and above all, atmospheric local pub. Take away only, be, tables and chairs have been put outside by the Compass Hill green. It gets busy late afternoons but you can still find a friendly fence to sit on. Great to see they are still trading. Lets support them and enjoy the outdoors. (Mind your drink, tables are not leveled :-)
And so it begins....the long, or rather short walk back to normal English life via the essential summer pinta. If Covid-19 and English beer were in the ring together....who would win? Here is where youd bet your halfpenny on the lasting nature of beer. Welcome back....you have been sorely missed.
Always like it here, really not sure about the makeover though- new tables are pretty bland compared to the old copper top tables and the decor is a little bit too like a paint showroom now. Great conversation as ever though.
Smallest, cosiest, friendliest place imaginable. You couldnt make it up.If coming to Richmond for a visit, then be sure to stop here.A magical setting.
I LOVE this pub and visit every time I walked to Richmond from home on a nice day. My friends and I call it "Living Room Pub" because its actually like visiting a relatives living room; cosy and intimate with an excellent range of beers and snacks. Highly recommended.
I love this little pub, great choice of beers etc, bar staff are great, my wife only wanted tea, thst was no problem. Wish l could get time to go in there more often. Always friendly people in there, and its probably the most reasonably priced pub in Richmond
Very small one bar pub usually with two regular and one changing real ales. Not big enough for large groups. Small courtyard seating area down a side corridor and out the back. Has bar snacks not known for food. Not much bigger in total than a large house sitting room. I have always had a friendly welcome here.
Lovely small boozer, almost has the feel of better sat in your living room, cozy and welcoming. Always pop in for one before heading to Richmond train station.
Friendly staff but drinks seemed pricy, its as big as a large living room so be prepared to sit close to others. When I visited it was very hot and humid and some blonde bird was dancing all over the gaff.
My daughter had a birthday party in the beer garden recently. Its a cosy little pub with a great selection of beers. From Punk IPA on tap and Ghost Ship in a cask to mini individual bottles of Prosecco served in a matching mini ice bucket. Had a lovely time and helped by sensible prices and great service. Well worth a visit for a cheeky one.
Small local pub with front and back garden sitting. Very nice stylish decorations which make you fell lime you are in someones living room.
No food served but work together with Love Food just a few doors down. Place your order with them and they will deliver to your table at the Victoria Inn. Small outdoor area with tables (in the backfor eating or drinking or just hanging out.
Tiny entrance but a big family heart running this place. Everyone pops in for a pint here.Clean and pleasant. Parking tricky but is right outside when available. MP
Its not craft despite the description. Nice little pub but very limited drink selection.
We fondly refer to The Victoria as The Smallest Pub in the World for obvious reasons. A real local pub with friendly staff, where youll soon find yourself in light-hearted conversation with other patrons. A true extension to the living room and a lovely traditional pub.
This is a lovely little Pub. Staying in a hotel locally we just fancied a place with a little less quiet than the hotel bar and we certainly found that place in The Victoria Inn. Arriving on bank holiday Sunday evening we were greeted to a lively scene of laughter and dancing. So small that its almost like walking into someones front room, its laid out in a manner which promotes interaction between parties due to the intimate size and with plenty of atmosphere, a roaring fire and well stocked bar. What more do you want?
