The Victoria Arms - Pub in Lucapa, Angola
Horrible rude staff.Argumentative rude landlady.I totally understand that you need ID to purchase alcohol, but when you are sitting quietly in a marquee at a 1 year olds birthday party with one orange juice on front of you, you really do not expect to be verbally attacked and told if we drink alcohol the whole birthday party would be asked to leave. By the way I am 53!This pub gets no stars in my opinion. I will never step foot in there again and I will never recommend it to anyone.Try asking nicely in the future and get yourself some manners!!!!!
Found by chance on Google as we were staying nearby. The friendly staff were very welcoming, the food was very good and the atmosphere was warm and jovial. Highly recommended. Was so hungry when the food came out I forgot to photograph the dishes.
Great pub with good staff and provide a good Sunday roast! Would recommend!
Good all-round service and food
A very nice village pub. A good selection of beers and nice staff. Seating inside and outside in the garden.
Popped into this lovely quirky village pub in the heart of Binfield Bracknell, nice friendly staff, big beer garden, great selection of drinks and home cooked food, , dog friendly, had a bite to eat, food was nice
Nice pub in a gorgeous setting.
Saturday lunchtime visit that coincided with a mini Beer Festival. Good service and the beers were in excellent condition.
Great local pub with a huge beer garden at the rear. Live music was good.
Excellent location and very friendly stuff. Food is excellent
Nice venue . Staff are all politev
Cheerful. Friendly and great service. Outside seating great. Dog friendly and loads of little toddlers having good time
My favourite pub in the area. Friendly staff, good drink selection and nice relaxed atmosphere. Good pub food too.
Great beer and excellent staff🙂
Great beer garden with booths, benches and shade etc. Good food and friendly service too
Really nice pub. Lovely decor and friendly staff. Plenty of beers on offer and you can sit at a table, outside or the bar. There are a couple of TVs to watch the sport too. Had some lunch also, it was very nice. I ordered off the specials and got a chicken burger. Highly recommend the pub.
Five stars for a lovely pub, garden, employees, and literally the best chicken burger I’ve ever had in my life!! Chips fabulous too. Thank you guys!
Lovely little village pub...on tap are Fullers beers..at a decent price 450 a pint for the esb 5.5 percent.also lovely little beer garden.but on a little bit of a slope..but plenty of tables.and booths.try not to swear as this incurs a one pound charge..lolAlso available is a decent food menu.well worth a visit.
Good pub. Great atmosphere, great beers, good food and evening events every week! Whats not to like! Also got a great garden and an open fireplace
My favourite pub. Having worked in the drinks industry for many years I’ve seen MANY pubs but I regularly travel past 4-5 pubs to get to this one. The best service by miles compared to all other pubs in the area. Staff are brilliant, hard working, knowledgeable, friendly and fast. Can’t ask for anymore. The food is outstanding including the veggie options. Ales and lagers are well poured and always fresh. Huge outside area with lovely heated booths and plenty of seating spaces. Pub quizzes, live bands, live sport, food and drink deals… what more could you possibly want?
Fantastic pub and on the plus side an even better beer garden.
Visited this pub for the first time yesterday and was very Impressed, very good selection of drinks and very well priced, although we didnt eat the food coming out looked lovely, will be going back soon so we can try the food, cant believe we have never been here in the 25 years we have lived here!
Great local pub. Friendly and lovely food. And great live bands
Great customer service and attentive staff! Big lovely garden and nice atmosfere, all in all a great pub!
Great beer. Saw a drunk gammon abuse the staff, and a paralytic old boy abused us. Great night out. Nuff said.🙌
The beef was advertised as Dry aged sirloin roasted pink but it was more like well done. The Steak and Stilton pie was very nice as were the accompaniments that came with it and the other meals. Service and everything else was also very good
Beautiful pub and friendly staff and had burger and would rate the food 10/10 and would defo be returning again real soon
Had a lovely evening at the Vic. Ordered a mix of sharing food which was tasty. Friendly service and great local pub atmosphere.
Nice local pub in Binfield, Berkshire. Just had drinks there, good selection of real ales.
Lovely pub. Lots of atmosphere and very friendly stafff
Found this lovely place while travelling and thoroughly delighted with the meal we had. Excellent ordering process via a QR code on your phone. Safe and contactless, great for families and delicious food, great value for money. Will certainly visit again
Had lunch today with my friend. Food, ambience and service was very good. Sat outside with heater on as it was a bit chilly. Would definitely recommend this place. No paper menus. There is a scanner on the tables for mobile Phones. However they will tell you the menu if you dont hve a mobile. Dog friendly too.
Superb beer, wonderful service. Thank you!
Nice pub with friendly staff and well organised for outside eating with the covid restrictions. Good food menu but avoid the roast beef as very tough meat, wish I hadnt gone for the roast beef as it was over cooked and very tough.
Excellent and proper pub - the team are very welcoming, friendly and cant do enough for you. Even in these tricky times, they have adapted really well and it feels like a safe environment. The food is sooo good - especially recommend the Chilli - but its all good.
Stopped in for some food whilst passing through. Very busy but polite, accommodating staff. Vegan options. Good drinks menu. Clean toilets. What more can you ask for? 😊
Sunday roast was a bit dry and potatoes not browned but service was excellent. Fish and chips replacement was quickly prepared, delicious and got served a free drink while waiting
Always a wonderful place to be. The landlady has taken every step to make it COVID-19 safe and compliant, which, when coupled with the cheeriness and enthusiasm the staff have, makes it a perfect place to have a drink and great pub grub. Would highly reccommend the Buttermilk Chicken burger special and the staff work so hard to give you a safe, enjoyable experience.Youre missing out if you dont visit this pub!!
Nice place and lovely staff but limited menu although food was nice. Good social distancing and sanitizer and took our contact details
Fantastic proper village pub, staff & team are wonderful, great atmosphere, lovely food n beer, my favourite - buttermilk chicken with a pint of stowford!
Love this pub, food is amazing atmosphere is great. Not been for a few years, but was well worth the revisit.
Always a great place for a pint. The real ale has been top notch ever since Ive been going, which is more years than I care to think about. My wife always thinks it is more of a blokes pub. It can get busy at times as its so popular, which can mean standing up. Varies depending on when you go.We dont eat there that often, but when we have the food has been good.
Very busy pub frequented by many local residents and workers. Excellent staff dealt with the busy times admirably. Football on tv and an outside marquee for quieter surrounds. Good choice of beers from the Fullers range. Try the Dark Star Hophead. *****
Always a good atmosphere here. This is how a local pub should be. Food is consistently good as is the beer. I had pie of the day - steak and Stilton with lightly roasted veg. Delicious!
Very pleasant traditional pub in the heart of Binfield Village. I hadnt been there for years so it was a nice surprise to see the place busy and hopefully thriving. Just had a drink so cant comment on food , but it looked good.
The waitress was nice. Ordered 3 roast dinners and 1 fish pie. Potatoes didnt look roasted and were firm, the beef was so tough none of us could eat it. We only got carrots until we asked if there were any other veg. They offered to swop the dinners, so 2 of us ordered chicken (no one could mess up roast chickenthe plates arrived with two small pieces of chicken on each, and even that didnt look like it had seen an oven! The potatoes were still hard and the Yorkshire pudding was flat and tasted like it had been fried to reheat it. We didnt eat the food and didnt bother ordering pudding! To be fair they did knock £40 off the bill but two of us had travelled one and a half hours to meet family and have a nice meal and it was totally ruined. No excuses were given.
One of the nicest lunches Ive had in the area. Lovely beer garden and quirky interior, staff were really friendly and accommodating. There was a little problem with our groups order and it was resolved quickly with minimum fuss. Little wait for food but we were an 8 top with no reservation, at least everything was cooked fresh! I had the scotch egg with a still runny yolk and my poached egg with the ham and chips was perfect too. Will definitely be back!
Nice country pub serving Fullers beer, with a large garden and marquee out the back. The food is good and well presented. The staff are very friendly. All in all, a nice place for a drink and some food, especially if decent weather.
Fullers pub with great real ales and an interesting collection of beer bottles on display from around the world. Basic but tasty pub grub
A really good local, with a good mix of customers. Manager and staff really couldnt be friendlier. Dont eat there myself, but everyone who does seems to appreciate the cooking. The beers are the real winners though, with the London Pride of a particularly high standard.
