The Underworld in Tskhinvali
Description
Great venue, love the atmosphere and bands sound brilliant here
Great music and events, entry is a little pricy though.
underworld is awesome, the bouncers are all power hungry tards however. If you want to get it... avoid wasting your time in the que, the bouncers will say no unless youre a bird.
MoreSort the toilets out... favourite venue for intimacy... but having to cross my legs through the gig due to every womens toilet being backed up wasnt so great.
MoreLovely place, great for seeing bands.
Small local venue, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Will definitely be back!
I go here more often than I should, but I absolutely love the place. From live gigs (last seen Sack Sabbath which was brilliant!to Blackout Saturdays (Admission 11pm - 3am). Great vibes, lovely staff at bar and inside. Drinks are a little on the pricier side, but its got lovely atmosphere. Definitely would recommend to anyone whos up for reliving their indie/ emo music days. Music is always on point!
MoreReally lovely staff, good price drinks, toilets were disgusting. Broken, no seats and filthy. Really horrible, never going back. I went into Camden to use the loo and even that was better. No accessible entrance either.
MoreLocal club, excellent place to see live music, friendly staff. Right across from Camden Town tube station.
MoreLoved it. I like to come here for Friday (blackoutor Saturday(London rocksevents. If youre into that kind of music this will be great.Do make sure to pick up a flyer from the floor to get the £7 entry. Not good if you want to talk with someone.
MoreA great little venue, where I have seen numerous of my favourite bands. The venue has reached almost cult like status! The sound over the years has improved massively, and its always a joy seeing bands there!
MoreReally cool music venue.
Bands on the night where as follows visions of Atlantis, xandria, and ye Banished PrivateersFantastic venue been many times 🤘👍
MoreOld school venue, I felt like in the 80s and 90s when rock’n’roll was everywhere. Great music, location, people.
MoreGreat place for metal gigs. I really enjoyed its 90s vibe
The Underworld, strangely enough under The Worlds End pub. Its a small venue with beers the price of wine but at least they had a decent selection. £13.50 for 2 bottles of beer is taking the Mick a bit but hey, its London I suppose. As its a music venue, Ive seen a lot of bands play here. Its a hot and sweaty place so dont take a coat!Ill be back...
MoreGreat Club, live bands and night club on various nights
Small basement venue with an odd layout/footprint. After reading about gigs in this legendary venue for decades I was a bit underwhelmed experiencing it in person finally.
MoreGot to see the mighty Death Angel here. Venue is small and has an intimate feel, but has been on the scene for decades so the staff knows exactly how to do the sound, maintain relative cleanliness and order. If you get to see a big band in this venue I highly recommend it. The experience is next level
MoreGreat atmosphere good beer brilliant gig venue fully recommend 👍
Amazing little venue. Its in such a perfect place with Camden Town underground over the road and both mornington crescent and kentish Town stations being close by.
MoreGreat live venue, tad pricey drinks but its London. Cheap cans before the gigs 😉
MoreFantastic music venue, one of few remaining in London.
Amazing authentic and intimate metal/rock/punk bar and club. If you can see a band here you should.
MoreThe music and atmosphere was great. All the staff were friendly. They had decent deals on drinks. My only wish is that the space was bigger.
MoreReally nice and big place with plenty of AC. Had a wonderful time listening to great music there.
MoreGreat cosy, alternative concert venue!
+: Great club.Cool rock music.Good choice of drinks.Friendly staff.Security is like undercover police, the big brother is watching you.-: 2 airco’s on the dance floor, but one of them is malfunction and the second one was not enough for the club full people.
MoreFirst time I came across this bar was when Mr Kitty held a concert and overall the while place was a great place to chill and hangout. The live music shows they have are behind amazing too!
MoreExcellent evening at the Underworld seeing Semblant and other great bands. Air conditioned, plenty of space and able to get close to the bands.
MoreReally cool venue. Was here for Gatecreeper and Urne and I really enjoyed the show. The sound was decent and the bands were LOUD. Glad I brought earplugs.Bathrooms were pretty gross but that’s nothing new when it comes to venues like this.
MoreLegendary rock club, great for small gigs. It hasnt changed much in the last 15 - 20 years. Drinks are getting pricey though. They now charge 5% service fee at the bar, so a pint of lager cost me £6.83.
MoreQuite small dance floor, but its alright overall. The music is really loud, partly because of the small dance floor. The club nights are great in terms of vibe and music, concerts are pretty cool too. The bar is okay, drinks are fine. Theres also kind of separation between the dance floor and the bar which makes it easier to have a conversation in a little quieter place.
MoreLegendary rock club in Camden, London. A must for any true rock, punk or heavy metal fan. No expensive tickets, no attitude, just die hard bands and die hard fans.Last weekend I watched The Exploited tear the place down. How about you ?
MoreEpic venue. Been here loads of times. Sound is always spot on and great atmosphere. Best venue in London ?
MoreWe have been waiting 1hour in the queue. They told us to stand on the right side and wait. We did everything they told us and waited. They didnt explain to us how long we need to wait and for what. After one hour they told us they couldnt let us in. Meanwhile everyone else was passing through. At least they could of given us an explanation at the beginning so we didnt waste 1hour but they didnt. Very bad customer service and very disappointed.
MoreGreat venue, great staff, great security. Beers are as good as upstairs in the Worlds End. Ive had many a good night watching bands in here.
MoreNice club with a DJ that puts all classic rock pieces. It is perfect if you dont wanna go home and dance a bit.
MoreAnother trip to The Underworld. Ive always had a good time here. Like most small venues, as long as it hasnt been seemingly oversold. The Scala, Im looking at you. Its great! Dont be fooled when people congregate on the stairs. Ive found that theres still room in the main area stage facing.
MoreGreat place to rock! The sound is really good and the bartenders really nice.
Toilets are disgusting. Huge holes in wall with mouldy wall behind looks like something out of Silent Hill movie. Stinks of mould. Drinks overpriced (£7 for £2.50 bottle of cider). Two stars for at least having female only toilets and for sound quality being ok.
MoreFirst off the acts were amazing, quite possibly the best opening act ive seen in recent times! but the venue itself is an absolute joke my Fiancé was thrown out after she was sick in the TOILET the managers reasoning was that "she was on something" she had one single vodka and coke and 2 glasses of water, she sadly only made it through 2 songs before this happened. My fiancé suffers with severe social anxiety and to help her recover we have been recommended to go to more places with larger amounts of people, we thought it would be great to see one of her favourite artists, I tried to explain this to the manager but in her words she "doesnt have time for this" but what do I see when I go back into the venue to get our things, oh I see her casually chatting to the bar staff with a lovely grin on her face. Well I hope youre happy with yourself you wasted alot of money from people who would have came back time and time again.
MoreGreat music venue. Low capacity so you.get a.great view and interaction with the band, only downside is walk-ins that havent travelled to see a band they love so dont see an issue with walking up and standing in front of people blocking their view. But with small venues this is always a problem so will definitely be coming back to see bands.I love. Staff were brilliant.
MoreGreat for metal nights in Camden. You can interact with bands on stage. Sound quality OK although still had ringing in ears days later! Drinks reasonably priced.
MoreNever too crowded and always good fun. Seen live shows and attended many party nights. Drink prices are as usual in places like this (around £5 for a pint)
MoreVERY rude staff (door, bouncers, barfeels like you are being watched by the fun police, not what you would expect after the pricey entrance fee and drinks. We witnessed people being kicked out for expressing joy by dancing and laughing. Dear owner - fire all the staff and get people who understand what its like to work in entertainment as this surely will lead to your business closing down.
MoreGreat venue that Ive been too many times but the beer have gone through the roof recently.
MoreGreat venue, ace bands, good booze and friendly staff.
This place had such a different vibe. It was quite big and spacious as compared to other pubs I have seen. They have regular gigs from many different bands. And, this place has come crazy history attached to it too. Go read the plaque right outside the main gate.Didnt attend any show sadly.
MoreThe underworld is one of my favourite venues to visit for intimate rock/metal shows! It really has character and Ill always find excitement knowing Ill be going here to see a band. The capacity is 500, all standing, but it feels much smaller. There generally arent barriers at shows, so if youre up front, youre practically touching the band members. There are also small bars located down there that serve alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The prices however are quite eye watering being in the centre of London. I recall paying £6 something for a Newcastle brown ale! Worth it though if you are seeing a good band. The only thing Ill mention in the negative aspect are the security guards and staff. They can be rude and forceful sometimes.
