Irish & American fare served in a cozy pub with live music, flat-screen TVs & outdoor seating.
Love this place! Isabelle is the best server ever! She keeps us coming back every week! :)
Great Irish Pub! Bartenders are awesome and they have premier league matches!
Food was great and staff was friendly. Nachos are amazing and huge!
Fish and chips were delicious and reasonablely price and will be there again. Like the Irish pub look. Parking wasnt good
Its the best bar in New Haven. Update still the best bar in New Haven. Friendly Irish Pub with great food and Irish approved Guinness on tap
Would be Four stars only because we spent much of our Winter after-work outings getting a beer and a meal here and it can be cold, if you don’t sit in the main room.Otherwise, great! Liam is the bartender you want. He’s an Irish transplant with a penchant for giving customers the information they need along with the craic.
Great food, friendly service, beer, what more can you ask for
Great food, great beer & shout out to some great bartenders Isabella & Meg
One of the *best* Bar / Restaurants in New Haven, CT - by FAR
So, if you want to go to an Irish pub where you cannot get a flight of beer, then welcome to Trinity!! While the service was good, the place smells very musty. We only stayed for one.
Wasn’t the most welcoming, could only imagine why not. I’m watching everyone else get asked about their service. I asked her for plastic utensils. She turns her back to me while walking away and says she doesn’t have any. Me knowing that if you have a to go service, you have to have plastic utensils, asked another server. Every since i asked another server, my main server never came back. I even brought my own salt, ketchup, and pepper to my table. My food isn’t even done, I’m just explaining why I’m about to walk away.
Great Irish pub! Excellent outdoor beer garden! Didnt eat but I hear the Bangers and mashed is amazing!
Imagine an Irish bar where you cannot order a flight! Welcome to Trinity!! The place had a really moldy smell to it, and so we only stayed for one beer.
Great place to watch a soccer match. Lots of TVs, great service, good bar food, nice atmosphere!
Fish and chips with a black and tan watching rugby. Who could ask for more?
Good food, good drinks, good atmosphere, and good prices.. Not much more you can ask from a bar.
Good pub food and great location within a short walk from metro north! Extremely active Liverpool supporters club
Cover Girl rocked the house! All cover tunes with original flair and tight musicianship. Bar staff ran like a well oiled machine, friendly, and humorous too. ❤🍻🎶
My father enjoyed the shepherds pie, and I enjoy the Cobb salad, which included capers which I really appreciate it.
Great live music and bar crowd for a night out. I havent tried the food but suspect it is typical bar food. The prices are good for drinks though
This is a very spacious Bar! Great place to watch sports! TVs mounted enough places for u to never miss a moment...including huge TVs that cover the wall! Great staff and atmosphere! Everywhere I go I have a margarita...lets just say I wont have one here again! Keep it simple, like Vodka/cran, a shot or a beer. The food came out in a timely manner. The serving of nachos is huge!! I enjoyed the steak nachos didnt enjoy being charged 2.00 for salsa tho🤔! The chicken wings were ok...the flavors were good but could be fried a lil longer and tossed in more sauce. The clam chowder was excellent!!!! Overall good experience!
Very supportive of the veteran community in New Haven. My go-to bar since 2012. Good sized banquet room too.
Yo this bar is a FANTASTIC place to watch your sisters boyfriend get absolutely blitzed while your favorite sports team gets hammered harder than your middle school girlfriend. Hannah is your spiritual Sherpa, feeding you Irish whiskey shots to your hearts content, and you keep drinking them if only to impress her. But she wont be. She is a siren.
First and foremost: TERRIBLE SERVICE. Didnt even acknowledge my husband and I when we sat at the bar. 5 min later, a group of people came in and the guy behind the bar was very jovial and engaged and made sure they were served. It was another 5 minutes before he even looked at us, and then his tone was somewhat bothered. We didnt feel welcome there, AT ALL.Secondly, we were there to hopefully watch an EPL soccer match (Man City vs Leicester), but apparently because we werent one of the 20 Aresnal fans in there, they couldnt be bothered to accommodate the other 8 of us who wanted to watch a different match. Instead of trying, they just kept giving lame excuses on why it MIGHT not be possible, how they had to do this and that before they could check, etc. Really? Were paying customers and you didnt even want to make the attempt? Not a good look and I certainly wont be going back there again. Happy Boxing Day.
Came here because I love the food and the atmosphere but the service is terrible. Waiting 20 mins for water and we left.
Food was good. Nice atmosphere but the service could of been better. Couldnt find our server..
This place is tremendous. Staff was friendly and attentive. The food was incredibly good and the drinks were reasonably priced. Would come back absolutely.
Great atmosphere to enjoy a pint and some pub grub while watching sports. The patio is also a great feature!
Friendly staff, tasty drinks, good food - great place to watch a soccer match!
Went to Trinity Bar for the first time and was very impressed with the place. Growing up in the UK it reminded me of an English pub - fond memories! The atmosphere was cosy and very friendly. We ordered the fish and chips and they were without doubt the best we have ever had! Cant wait to go back and try more dishes from the menu!
4 only because I cant give a Scouser/ManU pub 5. Aside from that, good craft selection, tasty pub food with friendly staff in a "Dub Pub" atmosphere. Spent last day of the Prem there amongst those above and others and all was good fun
Best pub in New Haven. Great spot to watch sports with solid bar food. Fish n Chips are recommended.
Lindsay is the best!!!! We came at noon today and she not only put the Islanders game on the TV right by our table but made sure we had the audio too. She gave us every possible condiment before we asked and generally gave us the quickest service ever even when it got crowded. This woman deserves a raise!!The food was good too - definitely recommend the fish and chips, the Cobb salad was beast, and what we saw on other tables looked tempting. Also, great outdoor area and takes COVID-related policy seriously. Biggest bar recommendation in New Haven!!
Amazing fish and chips, just like I used to get from chippies when living in Britain. Havent had better in America. Coleslaw is rich and delicious, not that tart, watery garbage you get from most places. Ill definitely be a regular.
Great spot! Having lived in the outskirts of New Haven (Westvillefor decades, I typically try to stay away from downtown. However, Im very happy I chose to break from my norm to meet with some friends, here. The parking was not bad at all, the set-up was nice (as were the staff), the drinks were good, and the placement and acoustics for the band were also good. A great time was had by us all, all around. Ill be back.
Great place and atmosphere. The staff is awesome and brings a real Irish pub to New Haven. The fiod is great and drink selections are top notch.
My wife had a very good veggie burger which is not easy to do. My chuck tiernan was delicious and I love horseradish sauce. Fries are recommended.
I love this place. Its a great bar with a great pub menu. They have a great Irish Pub vibe and its clean and new with lots of TVs. This is the home of the Official Liverpool FC New Haven Supporters Club. I go here to watch the games as often as I can. The tatter tots are amazing and their brunch menu is excellent as well.
I decided to go outside of the norm and book my company Holiday party at Trinity. Picked a menu and was kindly advised it was to much food for my party of 30. Alternative suggestions with cost in mind was recommended and I agreed. I arrived to find the staff waiting for us, the room was setup perfectly and food prepared. I received overwhelmingly good reviews about the Shepard’s pie! In fact all the food was great. The staff was kind and attentive. I would recommend Trinity for a party or just a night out (my family and I go for dinner occasionallyGreat place, great private party room, great food and as always with an Irish pub great drinks.
Absolutely perfect. Authentic Irish pub with fantastic food. Friendly bar staff and responsive wait staff. The nachos are awesome. Veggie burger is house made. Fresh salads, with great dressing options including a buffalo sauce dressing. Yum!Also, fantastic selection of fine whiskey and Irish classics.
A few friends and I came here for brunch on Sunday. They do brunch on the weekends until 2 PM.I got the eggs benedict and it was very good. Eggs and bacon were cooked perfect, the home fries were super crispy and the sauce was delicious. Had it on an everything bagel. Beer options were pretty good, and they were running some fantasy football trivia game through the afternoon. It wasnt busy at all for a Sunday so it was very relaxing, there was no rush and we were able to just sit and have a good time.Would definitely go back for brunch again, and would love to have some of their normal fare for comparison.
Bridgeport has a couple of Brazilian restaurants due to the large group of Brazilians living here--especially in the Westside. All concepts are basically the same, you make your plate, have it weight and pay accordingly. Great place to go... love living in BPT Brazilian food plenty to choose from.
Our table ordered food and the portions are generous, the food is hot and well flavored. I particularly loved the aioli with the sweet potato fries. My friends vouch for the steak salad and the burger. The bar have a selection of beers on tap. Everyone who was there had nothing but rave reviews for Trinity! I would definitely be back again in the future for a private party or for a drink and food on a Weekend night!
Happy hour Sea Hags were delicious. The decor after the fire renovation is awesome. One of my favorite places in New Haven.
Nice European style pub atmosphere crowded with lively upbeat attitude near 1am on Saturday. 20 oz of Guinness was $7 and pints can be had for as cheap as $4 with cocktails typically in the $8 - $12 price range. Guinness was served much colder than its intended to be but I personally prefer it that way.
Trinity has been a refuge for me and my friends since it opened. The fire broke all our hearts but they are back and I am so happy. The food is wonderful - personal favorites include the tater tots, excellent wings and great fish and chips. as ever, the bar and wait staff are always happy to serve and work hard to ensure customers are happy.
Very nice atmosphere and food , restaurant in an old safe owned by Carnegie, service was a lot slower than I would have wanted but food was awesome, thank you!
Great food, drinks, and service. I love this place.
I think there are more creative options downtown, but if youre looking for a casual spot with a decent beer list, Trinity holds up. Their strengths are carrying soccer matches and their outdoor seating in the plaza.
The staff here are all great as well as the owners. Good food, happy hour specials. Nice place to grab a drink with friends after work or go on a busy weekend night.
