Great place, well looked after by a friendly team of staff, who went out their way to look after our party, made the day a very memorable one.
Just attended a wedding and stay and it was fabulous,staff..food ..organisation...and ambience can highly recommend.
We had an excellent afternoon lunch with family from Australia.
Went to a wedding loverly little place food was loverly to
Attended a wedding party here , plenty of parking spaces the venue is in a nice location pleasant outdoor areas , the main room is nice well decorated plenty of tables and chairs , bar staff really good professional polite even when under pressure as it got very busy . Food was nice and again staff serving very good , DJ for this event very good played a good set had everyone dancing . Really good night worth checking if you are looking for a special party location . We have been for a meal before and also really enjoyed the food and service
Had a lunchtine menu in the evening and part of that wasnt available on a Bank holiday weekend.Nice place though, with good staff.
Went for a meal staff were great meal was cold enough said
Visited for a meal early evening and was impressed not o ly by the food but also by the prompt friendly service.
Came for food with family.Service is pretty much non-existent, left waiting for ages when sat down at a table and had to go up to the bar to ask someone to come take our order.Food was nice.Again waited ages for table to be cleared and asked about any desserts.I think staff training needs looking at.
Servers are really polite and pleasant, food is always lovely however they do get really busy at peak times
Nice Food, Dirty RoomStayed at Treebridge for a family birthday party on Saturday 13th August. The setting is great; a handsome property that looks on to Roseberry Topping. Had 3 course meal in the hotel restaurant which was beautiful, and cannot fault the chefs at all. It’s a shame I then had to retire to “The Beech” room.First impression are promising, walking into a very large room with 2 single beds and an en suite, plenty of room for 2 people. However as I begin to move around the room, this is where things began to fall apart, and for some parts quite literally. Faults include dark stains on the floor, water left over in the kettle from previous guest, and the sheer amount of dust on top of the wall lights is just lazy. It’s the bathroom however that really lets it down. Old black laminate floor covered in white stains and marks, which leads round to the toilet that lucky me had skid marks in the bowl from the last resident. The wall of the bath is noticeably coming apart with a large gaping whole beginning to form, and what I thought was pubic hair at first turned out to be scratch marks all over the bottom of the bath. The ceiling then has brown mould, and the white shower curtain has dark pinks stains; both proving my point that the room is certainly in need of some TLC which begins to raise questions about the rooms price of around £90 a night. All in all, nice stay at Treebridge which has a lovely restaurant, just unfortunate the facilities don’t keep up with the high standard of service set out by the warm and friendly staff of the hotel.
Nice place for a meal and drink rooms are very good 👍
Only visited for dinner. Food was excellent and the staff were lovely! Slight wait between starter and main course but overall would recommend! The fajitas were incredible :)
Great venue for a party. Excellent service and great food in a lovely setting.
2 night stay previous visit pre covid overall very disappointing. Arrived 5.30pm reception empty spoke to barman seemed to be irritated what do you want assistance to check in .Before going up to room request to complete breakfast order! This place has really changed. Sat outside with a drink very nice noticed it was very quiet only to then find out no meal service on a Sunday no prior warning fortunately out for the evening .Breakfast the table ok the ceral juice table dire three jars milk, Apple juice and orange juice. No fresh fruit salad no cold meats etc .Cooked breakfast ok generous portions ie 3 rashers bacon 2 poached eggs .My sausage requested well done only one side cooked well. Second day out all day returned around 5.45pm we wanted to relax enjoy a few rays in the garden ordered wine requested we would like our table a little later than 8pm only then to be told orders have to be in by then as they stop serving .This spoilt the evening somewhat even coming down early felt we needed to get to the bar to put in the order. Food once on the table ok we shared three starters all cooked especially the prawn Gambus. Breakfast last day ok no music playing only sound to be heard was fur iture being moved around ready for a large booking ? later in the day .This place has a nice location it was good pre covid they really need to think about what they want to provide going forward if they are to remain viable
Ive visited The Treebridge many times over the years and it is nice to see that it continually updates/maintains itself, Ive never been disappointed whether visiting for a wedding, a party in their function room or just for a meal.
Went to a christening at the venue. Great place great food
Nice country venue, made a great location for a company function. Probably very nice for a wedding too.
Had a three course meal there with my wife to celebrate our third wedding anniversary. The food was excellent and the service first class.
Came here to eat, only. Great food, however the overall service was lacking, a 3 out of 5, for service
Fantastic evening meal with family staff could not do enough for us, we all enjoyed and look forward to returning.
Lovely surroundings, nice friendly staff, great service nice food. We only went for lunch.
Great 80th birthday tea party very generous portions - several friends took doggy bags home.
We were a party of 5 adults and 3 children . We sat outside, when ordering our starters and mains they said they would be served at the same time as they were short staffed at which point we cancelled the starters as the main meal would be cold . We waited so long we went inside to see if there was a spare table. No one else was in. However my husband asked if he could have a salad but they said there wasnt any. When my lasagna arrive it was not only in a soup bowl and the size of the palm of my hand but it came with a salad . It seems the only thing they can cook and make look appatizing is a pamo and chicken nuggets . First visit for a long time and definitely the last
Nice place, friendly staff. Easy parking.Beer garden is spacious, comfortable and south-facing but quite noisy from the traffic on the nearby busy road.
Hotel is in the middle of s revamp. The room (Burch ), that we were alloted hadnt been revamped. The mattress and duvet were awful. The bathroom was hazardous. The hotel staff were all very pleasant .
Visited for Mum in laws birthday couldnt fault the service food was lovely little surprised there was no fish and chips on the menu with it being a Friday bur opted for the scampi which was lovely and the chips outstanding
Treated like a second class citizen from the second I walked in...I was ignored, tutted and sighed at for requesting an evening meal.. I had already called ahead to double check availability and told there was..Practically had food and wine thrown at me by staff..Food was at best on a par with microwave meals and packet sauces... Overpriced and very basic...Everything was too much trouble, the daughters of the owners run the shop, the only time I saw them engage is when a group of their friends arrived who received the VIP treatment... Although I had to battle to get my table.?The free breakfast they offer is a sea of beans, slice of toast and a cheap sausage... The breakfast staff were equally as off hand and rude the following morning...Rooms are basic but adequate...This was supposed to be a bit of a treat stay instead of premier Inn due to my travelling circumstances but really wish I had gone to PI now... Bad service is one thing but rude and aggressive is another...My first stay in the north was a unpleasant one... After trying to make contact to discuss this with the management I was once again ignored... I suppose they had taken my money and the consideration stopped the second they did...The bar manager was trying to help but drowning around the weight of everyone elses failings...If the owners read this perhaps you should consider offering him the managers position.? Hes the only one that did anything constructive...The rest of the bar staff were clueless showing lack of any fundamental training...Maybe they just treat all solo travellers like this.? But you have been warned... Avoid at all cost, spend your hard earned cash somewhere people care about your stay... Dont pay to be abused....!
Mothers Day afternoon tea: absolutely brilliant! Excellent choice and quantity 👌. The GF version was one of the best my daughter has ever had.
Extremely comfortable bed, staff were great, nothing was to much trouble, great views of the hills from outside the main reception area.Enjoyed our stay for 3 nights.
It may not be the greatest food, but its better than the average pub. Sunday lunch is reasonably priced. Service was excellent.
Wonderful night celebrating birthdays with family.. such a warm welcoming atmosphere..staff service was impeccable as usual and the food was excellent 👌
First time at the lovely hotel for a private party. The Treebridge provided the 3 course meal and it was absolutely beautiful 😍 The Restaurant and venue was stunning and the staff were lovely.I will definitely be back for a meal!
Good hotel, we held my mother in-laws wake at the Treebridge. The room was light and spacious and the food was excellent. It was a favourite of my mother in laws, a lovely hotel
Lovely hotel.Great, courteous and considerate staff.Arrived 8.15pm tonight after the restaurant kitchen had closed and reception staff went out of their way to get me some food. One of the best Prawn Marie Rose sandwiches ever!As a lone female in an unknown area, I can’t state how appreciative I was for their kindness, consideration and customer service.I will definitely return when on business in the future. Thank you so much
Love the food here, always presented beautiful and tastes delicious
Room clean & tidy, bed very comfortable, poor window view, poor showering producing no water pressure, TV with poor reception & constant interference, not enough Tea, coffee, milk etc.
Fabulous food, great staff, always very professional and pleasant, credit to the owners. Also lovely setting for starting the new year brilliant entertainment best I have seen on a new years eve here.
Had lunch here, good selection on menu, food very tasty and staff exceptionally nice. Would recommend and look forward to returning soon.
Havent been to the tree bridge in years but glad I visited. Friendly service, nice location and the food it lovely. 10 put of 10 for the chicken parmesan and the other food looked good too. Deserts are just as nice. Will be going back in the new year.
Dreadful service. Booked a table for a post wedding meal 3 months in advance. The management saw an opportunity to make more money by double booking a funeral and moved the wedding party into a cold and draughty area outside the restaurant. Management highly combative and totally lacking empathy. Family run business. Need to smarten up their act. Their customer service and lack of a transparent complaints procedure is ridiculous. The receptionist lacks all of the acumen one should expect of a professional in the hospitality trade.I wish we had consulted the reviews in Tripadviser prior to making the booking - as sadly there are numerous similar experiences.
Recent visit and stay over to watch Neil Diamond tribute had a great night, the food was beautiful and the staff were all friendly and accomodating, special mention to Matthew who went above and beyond expectations in looking after our party.
Excellent service and the menu is truly outstanding. Relaxing friendly atmosphere. Will be going back soon. Paella delicious, as well as fish curry, stroganoff and tagine.
Excellent food and all the staff were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Definitely recommend this restaurant
Went as a couple. Enjoyed our time there. Not over busy, quite relaxed atmosphere. Seating in our part of restaurant was well spaced out and one of the few places Ive been where the gel dispensers actually had gel in them. Had 3 courses. I was a little disappointed in beef stroganoff. It looked bland on plate and didnt tickle my taste buds. My husband enjoyed his steak and we were both happy with our other 2 courses. Staff were pleasant ant attentive without being intrusive
Great service, good menu choices, my food was only average..I had the Burger Special bun was too dry, bacon snd cheese toppong poor quality.. Enough said ...
Very easy to find, staff very helpful and attentive. Excellent choice of drinks ,nit a massive menu, but a broad choice and Excellent to go with it and not over expensive . Well worth a visit for any occasion and will be doing a return visit
Had a cold beer on a hot evening, very helpful and friendly staff. Didnt eat here but dining room and bar were spotless.Would visit again. Thanks to the management for allowing our stay.
Outstanding food quality & Huge !! Portions!! Childrens chicken nuggets where chopped & breaded chicken breast really friendly helpful staff. Well worth finding if youre in the area!
Lunchtime visit, menu was OK with a slightly limited choice for vegetarians or vegans. Staff were lovely and service was punctual. Ordered a nachos starter as a main which was sizeable and better value than the main course sandwich choice. Overall a pleasant visit.
