The Town Steakhouse in Vilnius

First time here and it was surprise in the very good meaning. Appetizers where great, tuna and avocado salads my favorite. Rib eye perfectly done, staff knows what to recommend and asking right questions. It is not a place you casually go, but I really loved it. Food was so great it was eaten before I realized I need to make some photos

Good looking atmosphere, friendly and professional staff. We asked what type of wine we should try with the steaks, they bring us 3 types of wine for a degustations. It really helped to decide. Steaks are good also, 10/10 😊🙂

A very modern styled interior. A little bit sterile I suppose. The food and service were however excellent.

Wonderful staff with sense of humour and the right approach to every customer. We were also happy they accept children under the age of 10 and its not troubling them. We wanted to leave a bigger tip (didnt have more), but that just calls for us to visit again and next time leave a bigger tip. Food was delicious and not too pricy for the quality.

I got the fillet steak, medium, with mash and peppercorn sauce. Absolutely delicious. Can’t fault.

Employee was very rude and made no effort to understand us as we did not speak Lithuanian.

Great restaurant. Service is top level, food is top level, fish presentation is top level. One of the best steakhouses I have ever been!!! Worth every single penny.

Steak quality was extremely poor, even though cooked well, it was very chewy and flavour was lacking. Best thing was the potatoes side. Garbage

If you like to wine and dine this is your place! Theres a refined, but cozy atmosphere. For a steakhouse their seafood is phenomenal too, and you MUST try the spicy garlic shrimp and the Octopus salad! They have a steak selection from Argentina (my favouriteU.S.A. and Germany. A shout out to Karolius for top notch service!

Personally, I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere in this restaurant. Food is good quality, we didn’t have to wait too long. My companion however said that his desert was very average. So I guess you can discuss deserts with waiters before ordering. I appreciate that they can offer fresh squeezed juice, and I would recommend to try seafood soup.

Great place with tasty meat and not only meat, but also seafood dishes. Nice interior, pleasent and polite service, tasty food. After dinner you can order some desert, because they also are delicious.

Great steaks, great service, enjoy every dish. Went with my girlfriend and we both had a great time and totally not over priced.

Probably the most attentive staff I’ve seen in Lithuania, I have dined here on separate important occassions (anniversary, birthday, company dinner, goodbyes before a leaving for a long time, etcjust because I know my guests will enjoy their time here. The food is great, nobody laughed at me when I asked for “bacon mashed potatoes with no bacon”, the steak, the duck, the octopus and the lamb is always cooked right, the fish appetizers are always fresh, the worlds most tender chicken wings are always a hit and idk I just cannot praise this place enough.

Average and decent food. Nothing great, but good. I had a ribeye. A friend of mine got a lamp burger and she didnt like it much. Other than food, the place lacks in atmosphere, at on the upper level where we were sitted.

Very good experience, lovely waiters. We ordered the chateau briant and the octopus which was a kind of surf and turf. Super yummy.

This is my favorite steak house in Vilnius. Fantastic service, the menu is simple and the food fresh and well prepared every time. Good quality standard. The wine selection could be enhanced a bit, but i highly recommend this cozy place.

We only had brunch here. I had Benedict eggs and coffee. Everything was tasty and the place itself is modern and cozy. When we arrived at 11 am there were only few people, but when we left, the restaurant was almost full.

Tried the dry aged filet from the chefs offer which was superb! Service was great but 4 stars because I was charged more than the listed price.

We had an excellent dinner at The Town the night before our flight home to the U.S. The service was fantastic, the food was delicious and the manager/owner was attentive as well. I would not hesitate to come back next time we travel through Vilnius!

Certainly deserves more than 4 stars but falls short of my 5 stars - exceptional restaurants!However I do recommend as a nice restaurant for dinner. Basing the menu around grilled meat and fish, but with some vegetable dishes.There is quite a selection of wines, but as I was looking for a local beer I did not pay much attention to the wine list.Service is fast and quite efficient.

Lovely steak, chicken wings and sides. Excellent service, nice decor and price relative to a steakhouse. We didnt need a reservation on Thursday evening, plenty of room. Although they did not cook our steaks as ordered. We received rare and medium rare instead or medium

This place is great the food was fantastic and was reasonably priced. I ordered the Duck dish which was cooked to perfection along with seasonal veg. There is a varied menu to suit all tastes and a good selection of drinks. A quiet place during the day but looks like it could be busy during the evening.

Prices are high. Service is good. Quality is good enough. Not for locals, it seems specified more for tourists.

Very friendly staff, polite and quick service. Strongly advise the tuna steak, very well cooked and fresh. The cauliflower soup is also delicious. Definitely to repeat in my next time in Vilnius

Ive been to many steakhouses around the world and this one was just wow! Very relaxed setting, nice service, not cluttered menu. Octopus salad was delicious with very fresh and tender octopus. Dry aged Ribeye cooked medium rare to perfection. Also the cream spinach was one of the best Ive tried. Highly recommend

Great place in the city center. Rich flavours of the food and many options to choose from whether you are meat lover or vegetarian. Nice service and cozy environment where you loose sense of time. Worth visiting.

Tuna tartare very tasty although a bit heavy on the soy sauce. Octopus grilled perfectly matched with a nice garlic garnish on the side. Lamp steak was a bit overcooked and hence dry though.Service was very good.

Ordered the ribeye and grilled vegetables. Food arrived within 10 minutes cooked exactly to order. The steak was delicious and just what I hoped for. They gave me a green peppercorn sauce that added a unique flair with the steak. Once I added the sauce, it paired well with the Cabernet Sauvignon. This may seem insignificant, but the olive oil and balsamic vinegar they served with the bread were definitely top quality. Its an indicator that this place is all about great flavor and ingredients in everything they serve. For dessert, I tried the chocolate fondant paired with the port wine they have. Absolutely incredible pairing! The fondant was rich, but not overbearing. If you love chocolate it is a must. The atmosphere was metropolitan and the service was prompt and professional. Definitely coming back here the next time I visit Vilnius!

Great selection of food and beverages. Sirloin here was fantastic. Expensive but worth every penny.

A bit pricey, but the food and the environment are nice! I got the beef medallions with the running egg and they were delicious!

In September, I and 3 friends went there for a dinner. Ordered squid rings for appetizer, they were not cooked enough and rubbery. Also bland in taste. For mains we ordered pork ribs (too much fat), duck (overcooked and dryand salmon (which was the best compared to others). Every dish was too sweet, you can feel honey, orange, mango..it was overpowering taste. Dishes look good, but it does not taste good. Service was not good also, waiter was grumpy and not even listen to orders. Few times he came back to ask if we ordered exactly that. Also, he was a bit rude, we asked to open window (doors), because it was very hot and we wanted some fresh air. He did opened a little bit and situation did not change, I asked if he mind opening the one near our table , he replied: " is the previous one is not enough? I have already opened that for you". I was shocked of that way of talking to the client, as I am not the buddy for him.

I loved this place! This is very stylish grill house. You get water and snacks once you come in for dinner. Beef steak was also perfect. My friend who was late asked me to order coffee with milk. She was late about 15min and the waiter suggested to replace with new one.5 stars for interior, food and customer service!

Best breakfast I had in Vilnius! It is a little bit expensive but worth it.

Dreamed to try eggs Benedict. Reviews are right, its really good. Also ask for coffee and croissant, but I got them first :(. Why!? Please notice that, and mention order of your order. Sorry that it was day when I leave Vilnius. For sure, come back to taste other food here. Eggs, coffee and croissant cost me 9.5 euro, so it expensive a bit for every day. Still it is worth it.
