Laid-back, brick-oven pizzeria featuring salads, panini & a wide selection of bottled & tap beers.
Really great quality pizza with well thought out original pizzas on menu. Go for gold and get one of the interesting flavor combinations, you wont be disappointed. Solid beer selection and really friendly staff.
Great quality for the price! One 10-inch and one 15 inch fed 4 adults. Good beer selection and very friendly staff! I wish I was local and could visit more often.
Came to eat and our night was ruined by whoever is cooking. She is rude and nasty to the servers. Screaming out their names and talking down to everyone. She seems absolutely miserable with her life and needs a reality check. Extremely self centered. Our server Heaven was so sweet, the other lady is just as sweet as well. Everything else was amazing but the b**** cooking needs to go. She’s ruined the atmosphere here entirely.
We are at Toad House tonight for dinner. Will be returning! We ordered an appetizer and pizza and both were very good. We all enjoyed the fresh ingredients on the pizza.
EFFIN Delicious! Ordered 4 pizzas to go and all of em were perfect!
Great pizzas and drinks. Have not tried anything else yet.
Hadnt eaten here in years, but I remember it being much more crowded. Was mostly empty for most of the hours for lunch. Deserves to be much more popular.
We visited for lunch on a beautiful, sunny Saturday. The pizza is thin and the toppings & crust were phenomenally tasting. I appreciate the fact that they have vegetarian options beyond throwing a bunch of soggy veggies on crust. If I had a gripe it would be that the red pepper flake didnt come out of the shaker very well (obviously the pettiest thing to complain about!), so I would definitively consider dining here.
This place needs a major upgrade. As soon as we walked in. There was no energy. It was so quiet and dark. It was so quiet. Customers had to whisper to eachother. And you can still hear them. No music. No TV. No energy. We almost walked out. But, I decided just to give it try. The pizza was good. It has potential. The ingredients and sauce was on point. The dough was chewy, and the cheese was stringy. It was hard to eat this pizza. There was only us and another table. And the pizza took over 40 mins.
The pizza was so cheezy and full of flavor, I was worried I wouldnt like all the toppings but it blended so well together I even ate the toppings I dont normally eat. The cheese bread was so amazing too. Definitely going to order from here again!
Weve eaten here many times and we absolutely love their pizza and cheese bread plus. They have a very relaxing atmosphere and play great music in the background. The biggest complaint was that it took some time for them to get the pizzas done as their brick oven wasnt big enough to handle the volume of orders. They had a sign saying they are adding a new oven so the pizzas should be coming out much faster. If you love pizza, dont miss out on this place. They have the best pizza in the county.
Excellent wood fired pizza...as always! Ordered the Bourbon BBQ chicken and the Luau. The crust was delicious and cooked to perfection
I purchased a 15 inch pizza that took over an hour to get and is raw. Zero browning in the crust. The Mozzarella cheese is the cheap stuff that doesn’t string at all. $47.00 for a beer (the beer was coldsome dip (not even heated throughand a bad pizza.I won’t be back
Very dark. Hard to see menu or my person. Wonderful crust, but no flavor afterwards. I so wanted to love this place. I will go again and try another pizza.
This place is awesome! I have eaten pizza all over this country and this was by far the best I have eaten. Im dont eat fancy or what I call weird things. Im pretty simple but both my daughter and I had the same reaction, YUMMMM!!!
We have been on a mission to find the best pizza in Kitsap County...because why not? So we started a poll among military families, and this was in the top 5 of votes...and here we are!We ordered the Bourbon Barbecue and the Toadal Protein. They were brick oven pizzas and there were a lot of toppings. The crust was average - not really any flavor baked into it. Not super greasy, so I appreciated it. There werent added seasonings on top, which made the pizzas kind flat in flavor, though (as previously mentionedthere were plenty of toppings, so if youre looking for a pretty standard pizza thats just packed with "stuff," then this is a great option.Service was very timely. We ordered pickup and it was a perfect 20-minute wait for our freshly-baked pizza made to order. And this was on a Friday night! Their pizza is pricier than other options in town, but likely because theyre baked in the brick oven; each pizza was $26-27 (not including tax/tip), so youll pay over $60 for just two pizzas. Not the most economic for a big family, but pizzas with fewer ingredients (or creating your ownare probably much cheaper and can balance out the more expensive ones. I wasnt inside for pickup, so I cant speak to the place itself or to the staff.Overall, it was good pizza. It didnt blow my mind, but it was good. And, for the record, there are still many people in town who say this is the best pizza in Kitsap, so its gotta be worth trying if youre here!
We had a pepperoni pizza, a veggie pizza, stuffed mushrooms, and the artichoke dip for our party of six. Everything was good, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the place has a casual, industrial vibe. The only things I wasnt thrilled about was the digital menu (Im oldand the single restroom.
Just off the beaten path. This is amazing pizza. The crust is dough enough but not too much. Cheese is firm and tastes fresh. Beer and cider on tap was fantastic. Staff was super helpful and happy to answer questions.Music was great, classic rock mixed with 80,90s. Just enough to be a great Sunday spot for lunch or couple date night.Food was the star and will definitely be coming back!Thank you staff, great job!!
Staff was amazing, had beers Id never tried before. Pizza was fantastic. Had my food 20 minutes after ordering.
Wanting more of a gourmet pizza, we decided to try The Toad House; one thing that was so enticing was the brick oven cooking.Over the years in my travels, I have heard people mention their pizza, so we decided to try it for ourselves last night!First of all, my hubby picked up the pizza, as they rely on GrubHub for delivery, and we didnt want to wait the extra time to have it delivered.I cant personally tell you how it looked inside; I can only relay what I was told and submit pictures my hubby took for me.My hubby picked up the pizza about twenty minutes after opening; he stated it was a little dated but clean. It was right after they opened, so judging cleanliness was tough at that point. He said the server wasnt rude but wasnt what he would consider friendly either. We had the Winning Combo, a little expensive at $25 plus tax and tip, but it was a good pizza, not incredible, but it is something we would order again at some point. The pizza came with a red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, spicy sausage, black olives, onions, fresh basil, fresh tomatoes. My minor complaints would be; the pepperonis were small in size, and there was hardly any on our pizza; I had two pieces of pizza and a total of 3 pepperonis between the two pieces. The spicy sausage was missing the spiciness but still had an excellent flavor. And the bottom part of the crust, although very tasty, I felt was just a tad underdone and a little bit chewy. The Cornicione ( crust ring around the pizzawas perfect!**Cornicione means "crust," a specific part, namely the outer rim or lip of the pizza.**We love their sauce, canned or homemade; I dont know; nonetheless, it was great in flavor! The Toad House offers a variety of pizza to choose from, also sandwiches, salads, and starters; if you are a beer lover, look no further; they have plenty for the taking, lights, darks, fruity, and ciders. If you are interested in trying The Toad House, you can find them at 1405 NE McWilliams Rd, Suite 101, Bremerton, Washington. The Toad House shares a large parking lot with Safeway, UPS, and a few other smaller businesses."Thank you for continuing to support all of our locally owned small businesses like The Toad House, and please be kind to everything living!"
Weve been going to the TH for years and always love the pizza. Tonight there was a mixup with our order, and it took longer than usual to get it. To make things right, they compd our dinner, beer included. Classy. TH will continue to be our go-to pizza place. Thanks, TH.
Simply the best pizza in Washington State. My family is from NYC and this is the closest taste to "home" Ive ever gotten around here. (And trust me, I eat out a LOT)Been here to eat out twice this week due to the fabulous service and exquisite food.
Witnessed the two women at the counter LIE to DoorDash on the phone saying the dasher wasn’t there when he was there waiting for at least a half hour on them. They complained about not wanting to do the order. They are shady! They straight up LIED and tried to get the dasher in trouble so they could cancel it. They just didn’t want to do the order. They complained about other dashers not doing their jobs but after what I witnessed with the lying, it was clear that the two women at the Toad House are the ones who don’t want to do their job. It’s too bad because this place has good food but after seeing how lacking in integrity the workers are, I don’t trust them.
Poor service, wait staff in their own conversations. 30 plus minutes for food. Empty beers needing refill. Kitchen calling for delivery but ignored so I called (shoutedfor delivery after 5 more minutes to break up the staff circle. Only 4 tables occupied so not so busy. You need to fix this as we and others were considering walking out!
The salty orchard is hands down my biggest pizza weakness. Forget pineapple and Canadian bacon…you need to upgrade your pizza to have apples and prosciutto. I’m telling you…it’s an absolute pizza masterpiece. The blue cheese crumbles and drizzled honey really do make it a one of a kind pizza that I will forever eat over, and over again.Do yourself a favor and take a step out of your comfort zone and try this spectacular masterpiece of a pizza. You won’t regret it.
Best pizza around! Large Tazzio with an add on of spicy sausage. The kids love the bite the goat cheese adds and its our favorite Friday night treat. You guys are awesome and I love the addition of the N/A IPA you have, along with all the other wonderful beers.
So good. One of the best pizza places in the PNW
Small, but cozy vibe. We had the Toad pizza and the artichoke dip. The dip was quite good, and was more than we expected, even though its still too expensive at $10.The pizzas taste was very good, and fairly unique. The crust was not overly thick, but not fully done. This is a common problem here on the kitsap peninsula. Few places seems to understand that a thin crust should NOT be doughy still, after cooking. ESPECIALLY from a wood-fired oven.Wed like to suggest that you add a Swiss pizza specialty called "flammkuchen" to your menu. Its delicious, and is traditionally cooked in a flame oven.Well be back, but if the crust is again not cooked thoroughly...
The Toad house is a nice warm Brick House pizza oven place with a wide variety of selection of ingredients. They a wide variety of micro brewery and a very kind and attentive staff. The food was well prepared and hot and timely. The prices were reasonable and the place was comfortable. I would highly recommend this place for a nice quiet date.
Food is great! Spinach artichoke dip has big yummy chunks of artichokes, pizzas are creative, ingredients fresh. Nice selection of beers- glad we found this lil hidden gem!
The toad house has been my favorite pizza place for the past seven years. Their pizza quality has always been amazing, large beer selection, and great customer service. The toad house has remained exceptional even throughout the challenges of this pandemic.
Service and location were good, ordered salad, artichoke dip, and a small pizza. We asked for the dip as a starter, but all 3 items were brought one right after the other. The dip with bread was amazing, however the pizza was sorely disappointing. It was undercooked and soggy, couldnt even eat the cold leftovers because the crust was so bad.
All of the ingredients from the cheese to the sauce to the pepperoni to even the Parmesan cheese on the table were high quality and delicious. Satisfies your pizza craving. Also has an extensive menu of fantastic craft beers. Excellent service.
For such a teeny restaurant they were hugely accommodating to our family. We went here for dinner spur of the moment with about ten people and they happily set us up without even a wait. The staff were very friendly and not bothered at all by the group and splitting the check several different ways. The pizza was amazing. They even changed one of their specialty pizzas for how I wanted it. If I lived closer, I would definitely return here regularly. Also loved the local beer options and variety. Lastly, I just wanted to mention that no one ever rushed us to finish our meal despite the fact that we were taking up a huge amount of the center of their dining space.
Excellent! Wonderful wood fired pizza. Really nice side salads with homemade dressing. More than we could eat for dinner. Leftover pizza is fabulous too. They have a good selection of beers and cider. We will be back!
Came in for dinner at around 7pm. Service was very friendly though the staff was VERY busy. We asked for a booth seat and they patiently obliged. The food was great, came in decent time and the wide wide beer selection pairs very well with their pizza and sandwiches. Definitely coming back on Mondays for 3$ taps!
Fantastic pizza! Ive been searching for the Best pizza in the area since I moved here over a year ago and this is definitely it! The staff were super friendly even though they were very busy. Im not a beer drinker but they also have a very wide selection of beer.
Went for early dinner. Had the Lunch Special. A Small 2 Topping Pizza, house salad and a Fountain drink for $13.00. Like be the house salad, ALWAYS Fresh. The service is really good. Plenty of parking, Next to Safeway. Highly Recommend for a good Pizza and Many Beers to chose
Great selection of beer. Fantastic pizza choices. Fresh menu and friendly staff. Perfect spot to grab pizza, beer and conversation.
Best pizza Ive had in a long time. Good atmosphere, and some kind soul paid for my husband child and myself anonymously. Thank you to whoever did that! Very sweet! Loved the cheesy bread!
Very tasty food and a great selection of beers. Its a little pricy but the service and the ambience is worth it. Cozy neighborhood hang out. Cute staff!
Wow, the wood fire pizza here is amazing and lots of options. Ingredients were all fresh and you could tell. Great beer selection. The atmosphere is very relaxed and a great place for a date night. Well worth the drive for us. Will definitely be back to try some of the other pizzas.
Great local place! Call it a beer & pizza joint. Very friendly staff & we loved the pizza. Recently moved here from Chicago, so that is a real compliment. Told them what kind of beer I like and asked them to surprise me and It was great. Give them a try.
Friendly staff, good pizza, and finally a red sauce in Kitsap worthy of the pizza its slathered on!
Good pizza friendly staff tons of good beer choices. The open pizza oven makes it feel very cozy.
Really Great place ! Pizza was delicious. Nice variety of beer and pizza to choose from ! I had a cider that was very tasty! I enjoyed watching the chef toss the dough for the pizza . We will go back for sure.
Definitely got a 5 stars for service, pizza and environment from me. Staffs are friendly and cheerful. She gave us a good recommendation on how to get more varieties of pizza to try. We ordered 4 kinds and did the half this half that on a 15” pizza.Small but cozy place. Highly recommended from me.
Probably some of the best pizza in town, and regarding quality, the prices are relatively cheep, About $20 a person. Beer selection is astronomical, great setting, helpful staff, and did I mention fantastic pizza? My family and I make a monthly pilgrimage, and we have never been disappointed. 10/10, would recommend.
Always great wood fired pizza, salads, sandwiches and beer selection. Staff is awesome and helpful while the atmosphere remains laid back, love this place!
Great selection of pizza and beer. Was pleasantly surprised. Will definitely be going back.
