Large, upscale pub with casual Modern British dining, including a carvery serving slow-roast meats.
Fantastic carvery vegetable options, friendly staff and really nice place.
Great food lots of choice and priced very reasonably portion size very good the whole family enjoyed their lunch 😋
Lovely pub friendly staff good food not to expensive also do take outs 👍🏻
I took my friend here on Sunday for the carvary, I booked it nearly two weeks ago on arrival they had no booking in my name, I still had their number on my call log as proof, they did give us a table.Unfortunately the carvary was disappointing as the plates were cold, we didnt know this till we sat back down as they give you a napkin to hold plate...so the food got cold really quick Yorkshires were already stone cold, we have not been here for some time previous times food has been really good.
loads of customers complaining about the wobbly chairs including us. Anniversary Dinner but I had almost finished my mix grill by the time wife got her food. Food was at least good
Food not to standard. Chicken totally over cooked. To crispy to eat. Apple crumble so cold it wouldn’t melt the ice cream. Sorry not happy.
Just back from a meal at The Three Trees today (Sunday 18th Septemberand Ive only ever seen it that busy at Christmas time! Regardless of the fact the staff were clearly rushed off their feet, (and unless you were sat where we were it probably wasnt visible to others, as clearly run professionalythe food and the service were absolutely fantastic. There was never ending queue at the carvery, but it moved quickly, the staff were polite and the food was great. Glad we chose here to enjoy my birthday treat!
Have eaten there many times. Had lunch there with my family very recently. No complaints, most enjoyable.
When this place first opened it was decent. Good food and service, particularly the quality of the vegetables on offer with the carvery.Unfortunately now it is truly awful. The table we were sat at was sticky, we got served some terrible wine (my fault for not tasting itThe carvery meat was very difficult to cut, partly due to the bluntest cutlery in the world, partly due to not very well cooked piece of beef. All the vegetables were bland, in fairness the honey parsnips and carrots were ok. The server gave us no opportunity to feedback about our meal, and as we wanted out as soon as possible, didnt chase them to let them know how we felt.Such a disappointment that what was a half decent, small local chain has gone so far down hill.
Staff are very nice, but this is the only thing they have going for them. Food allergy people beware, there isnt a lot of option for you, if you are vegan you get 3 options to pick from and they often dont have them all available.Staff did work hard to accommodate my allergy, but that didnt make up for the quality of the food. One of our party got a pink steak when he asked for well done. Some things were over cooked and others under cooked.
Visited this pub after going to Bletchley park, really nice deco and excellent food landlady and daughter made us feel very welcome, good value
Great roast beef, juicy n pink, trimmings and veg were also very nicely cooked, lashings of flavoursome gravy and a good strong horseradish
A lovely experience.Nice food, nice staff and a nice price. We will be returning.
Disappointed theres no carvery which is why we made a booking, but we was told due to covid the carvery was off the menu plus other foods on the menu.
I ate here yesterday evening and the meal was very good. Service was excellent as even though they ran out of mustard, one of the waiters went to the shop across the road to specially buy me some mustard. Will definitely be continuing to dine here.
We had the Tudor mixed grill between 2 of us and it was very disappointing. The ribs were tough (?!the sausages were somehow solid, the steak was OK, not the worst part. Aparently the Tudor mixed grill is fit for a king, but all it did was make me sit on the throne for a bit too long afterwards. 😳 The onion rings were nice though, hence the 2 stars! Maybe other things on the menu are better or they were having an off day, but Id avoid the mixed grills for sure.
Great food and good service, though you do pay for it. It gets very hot and loud though.
Dont go on a warm day in the addon buildings you will swelter an no one checks if all OK with food or anything food had better there so Sundays probably not there best day not brought bill but as afew of us we could go pay pay separately cant work out how I paid as much as I did when adding up after so be careful
Great place. Lovely meal and very accommodating and helpful for my father’s 80th birthday gathering.
Great carvery today, great service with very helpful polite waitress. Interesting menu for rest of week, sure be back.
We had an afternoon Tea for 2 at the Three Trees. We couldnt possibly have eaten it all!The sandwiches were plentiful in variety containing meat from the carvery. The cakes were delicious and moist. The scones were homemade and wonderfully warm too!We were served by Hollie who was incredibly attentive, her customer service was great! We called up to see if we could come in sooner than we had booked. They were absolutely fine with this and had it all laid out beautifully upon arrival.Would definitely come again.
Really nice food, excellent portion sizes and a really nice interior decoration. All 5 of us enjoyed our visit
Excellent food, quality service.Very clean / tidy / presentable restaurant.Polite staff / manager
Great food and service. Proper menu and I recommend the amazing burgers. Well done the 3 trees 👍
Wow what an amazing restaurant, the food was amazing, the staff was so attentive, definitely will be returning soon thanks guys for service 👍.
Beautiful pub, loads of seating, friendly staff and good food.
One of the best pubs in Milton Keynes. Great food, lovely staff, nice atmosphere. My in-laws that visited from Ireland were very impressed 👏
Brilliant pub, great food, lovely atmosphere, plenty of space so not cramped at all. Staff were really friendly and attentive. Great afternoon out.
Had a lovely time with friends, first class service, wonderful meal. Definitely recommend to everyone!
Had a wonderful meal! Good food, well priced and our waiter Nihai was excellent and friendly. Definitely our weekly go-to for a lovely meal.
Lovely friendly staff, fab decor, nice atmosphere and good food = most excellent!!
Good service, attentive and efficient staff.Food unfortunately poor.My wife and I decided to visit for dinner having not been for a few yrs.Our starters of prawn cocktail and creamy garlic mushrooms were brought to us in good time and both were perfectly edible. Our main courses of Tennessee combo and chicken burger were Im afraid very poor, the glaze on the ribs and the chicken on the combo was a gloopy sugary paste that was virtually inedible. My wifes chicken burger consisted of an insipid dry tasteless piece of chicken with some barely cooked bacon.Basically this was poor quality food that had obviously been pre prepped and reheated, no cooking skill required. It epitomises all that is wrong with much pub food in this country.
The pleasure of going on Wednesday 11th May for steak night and I have to say it was amazing the young waitress was so adorable and friendly would definitely recommend
Oh my goodness, been wanting a carvery for over two years from The Three Trees. Was it worth the wait? OH YES IT WAS. Had a fantastic meal and the staff gave us brilliant service. Thank you so much 😍
I was so glad myself and friends went here for our carvery it was delicious and the pudding was perfect such a clean place with happy staff and Louise was so lovely and bubbly couldn’t ask for a better waitress!! Kept checking if we were all happy and everything was okay lovely place can’t wait to come back!
Been here 4 times now , Im a very fussy foody, still cant fault the food quality or service, just presentation of the 8oz rump could of been better dressed for £13
I would highly recommend this place. Busy bank holiday weekend, we had not booked and needed a table for five. Tom managed to fit us in. The food is amazing and really good value (actually surprised at how good the food is considering the pricewhat really makes this place special is the staff. All very attentive, very friendly and plenty of smiles. We will definitely be coming again. I used to go to the three trees twenty years ago when it was a tired, aging pub. It has now been reinvented and wow you would not recognise the place. If I could do six stars I would. Well done to all that made this what it is today.
Food was absolutely awful. Yorkshire puddings the entire size of the plate so you can barely put any food on the small plates that were given, potatoes so crunchy with barely any potatoe inside, carrots cooked perfect but freezing cold, sweede smothered in pepper, pork too chewy under cooked and cold. Beef very pink undercooked and cold. Turkey cooked perfect but cold. The gravy was full of so many lumps I couldnt enjoy my cold meal without having a lump full of granules. However on the plus side the chef who served us was lovely had great customer service.
This pub is another on the list of the Great British Inns, Service was super friendly, louise was our waitress and she is bubbly and polite, food was lovely really this is a 5 star review and the only reason its a 4 is because the carvery is still not running in the week, which was my intention to order. It will be returning soon, until then we have tried many dishes from the menu and we are never disappointed. Great pub, lovely atmosphere and friendly knowledgeable staff.
Friendly local pub with good value carvery and standard selection on tap. Always a walm welcome and usually busy with diners. Bar area is small however there is plenty of seating and table service is prompt, so no need stand at the bar.
Great gastropub with Kath Kidson-esk additions, kitch signs etc. The main area is divided into subsections which makes it nice and cosy. Food was great and very reasonably priced.
The team made us feel so very welcome and the food selection was amazing. Plenty of space to relax inside and in their outside covered seating areas. We will be going back very soon and will be getting the prawn cocktail again.
Food was delivered late, cold and missing items. There was 1 slice of sausage which got me wondering if I was delivered leftovers from someone elses plate (see bottom left of picture). Is that supposed to be the £1.95 extra chipolata that Ive paid for?
Absolutely lovely pub. The food is out of this world. Good variety of choice on the menu & reasonably priced. The staff are bubbly and friendly. This is the place to go 100% recommend. I will defo be returning
Good food in a Covid safe environment. It wasnt too cold when we ate but there are heat lamps for when it gets chilly
Its a very nice and spacious place. I love their decor! They were not too busy so table service was quick. The food was sooo yummy and very well presented. Very friendly cusomer service:Thanks for having us!
Food here was delicious! We had sweet and sour chicken and Thai green curry.Atmosphere was lovely. It’s got a rustic theme to it and decorated with funny and quirky items based on the war.Tables are really spaced out. They have elegant wooden barriers with clear windows between tables (where required). One way system. It felt very safe to be here during the Covid pandemic.
Very nice place to dine out but ordered the blue cheese burger was just a bit of cheese on top thought there would be more melted cheese i cant say it was a blue cheese burger a bit disappointed though but the other dishes are superb will go again but there Pina collada is devine! Very nice foreign lady made the Pina colladas was her first try making it well done 😘
Absolutely amazing, we sat outside under the umbrella, really relaxed atmosphere, gorgeous decoration. The food was delicious, I had the pizza, others in my group had the carvery. The new ice cream shack offers little choice but the quality was great, real bits of strawberry in the ice cream, the cost was really reasonable, 3 carveries, a pizza, 2 rounds of drinks and 4 scoops of ice cream, around £50.Our server Louise provided fantastic service to us throughout the meal.Definitely will be coming here again.
The three trees has a nice atmosphere with good decoration. Food is fairly cheap depending on what you have. There is a carvery served everyday apparently, that isnt on the menu! I had beef and ale pie, the pie was delicious, the mash wasnt amazingly good unfortunately but willing to let them off due to price. All in all, a nice upscale pub and we shall go back again, probably for the carvery!!
