Came here for the drag comedy night cause website advertised it, but when there staff told me it’s been canceled until October …. Wasted night

A really fun bar - cheap drinks and the drag doing the kareoke was brilliant. Would definitely return.

Usually quiet midweek but busy at weekends.Sometimes have cheaper drinks prices before 8:00pm.

Meant to be a safe place for free minded people. Wouldnt reccomend at all, maybe as a last resort but has nothing on even the worst bars in Manchester

Wow, what a great night we had in The Sun. We were a large group of out of towners - mixed gay & straight. We felt at ease from the minute we walked in. Awesome DJs, danceable tunes all night. Lovely bar staff. The best value rounds of drinks EVER. And a friendly crowd who just absorbed us into their midst like we were regulars. A night to remember! ❤

NOVA GINA TOUCHED ME... in a way that Ive never been touched before... In my heart. Fantastic venue and a lot of fun. One of the bartenders here, Danielle, is one of the best bartenders Ive ever had the pleasure to be served by. Drinks are reasonably priced

Prices are good, I would say - kind of lowest than in the other bars. I dont think the drinks are special, just basic, but really nice and there is no more ice than drink in the cups.I really like the idea of drag queens walking around and selling vodka shots for one pound - every time I have a possibility I am taking one of it. The shots are basic too, but the fact that they are selling them this way is making me like them a little bit more.Staff is nice and helpful when it comes to choosing something so they definitely knows what they are talking about.The positive energy of drag queens while their shows and before or after them is the best thing there. They are really nice and friendly, their contact with the other people is very good and always makes me feel special and a little bit more confident. I love their style of being there and I really appreciate what they are doing.People here are acting ok and Ive never seen any situation that would make me feel in danger, even if everyone is drinking.What I dont like is a carpet on the floor - I know it sound weird but it is really disgusting for me. People are spilling their drinks on the floor because the place is small and usually crowded and when I am walking there in sandals I can feel the mixture of everything that was soaked by this carpet on my feet.I was there many times but now when I need to pay for the entry I just stopped going there.When I was there just before pandemic situation I couldnt pay by card which was problematic and many times I resigned from going there just because I didnt had any cash with me.They told us there are no shows and nothing special is happening - and what I should pay for then? This is a one big joke for me.

Oh dear!Not the place it was before lockdown.£2 entrance charge is avaricious.Nobody else in town, or anywhere else is doing this door tax.Was expecting a wonderful post covid experience, but all I got were jobsworths!GO ELSEWHERE!!

Friendly bar open till late on the weekends, reasonable pricing and good service

Absolutely love this place, the drinks are cheap but its the staff and people that make it. They play proper good music no matter what time you go in its just a feel good place

Love the place its cheap and cheerful, it needs a big revamp, toilets are very un hygienic, but music and atmosphere brilliant.

A local pub for local people.... Staff very welcoming and drinks not too expensive.

Great craic, its nice to see theres still pubs like this, good beer garden and all of that with the allowance of being who you are.

Karaoke in a weds is the place to be. Gays good staff and drag queens. What more could you want.

Great little venue, good drinks, good people and a good pool table. The cosy beer garden is a great place for smoking and a chin wag.

Very loud music, often overcrowded on Saturdays. Had to witness a naked customer once while staff didnt seem to care.Toilets are disgusting, but its the same all over other pubs of Bradford. Youre lucky if theres paper, so grab some tissues in advance.The place looks very cheap, needs complete renovation.On the other hand, lovely drag queens, but sometimes they tend to interrupt music by talking which i cant stand.One staff member was very helpful with drinks last time, i also appreciate the fact that you can get cashback.

Fantastic place, lively atmosphere & friendly staff. Was offered cashback when paying by card (Saved me a long walk to the cash machine for taxi fare).

Went late Sunday night. Place packed with post menopausal women. Dont know what theyre looking for - maybe a safe haven from domestic violence or fights in straight nightclubs. Its likely the gay scene will eventually die out completely.

Bradford oldest standing gay pub. Very tatty now needs some brass spending on it. Pretty empty on Saturday evening.

Been going here for 6-7 years now.Great drag queens - amazing drink prices!However if you’re wanting a gay bar then this isn’t the place for you.Last 2 years this place has become a place for local straight (mostly chavpeople to meet up. Which due to its low prices I’m not surprised. It’s disappointing as the sun used to be a great place for gays to be themselves and meet other like minded people. Now it’s just like any other local pub but with a random drag queen as DJ.

Visited last night. Wasnt great at all. Could barely move or breath. Me and my friends were choking on the cigerette smoke. Barely any seats available.

The drinks are cheap and the atmosphere is amazing. Sadly the toilets stink and thats real shame. They have for years. It what stops me and my friends going more often.

Some of my best nights have been here. Funny, friendly and well priced.

Fun little place for the more open minded type! Quiet during the week day time but the evening brings the fun! Prices are very reasonable! Could do with re-decorating but thats my only issue.
