A great spot for a Sunday Roast after a long day of bible study. Colby was very helpful and nice. He was a great conversationalist and just overall had a warmish vibe to him. I will definitely be back.

Colby Messih had the best Banter, real cheeky lad. Cute too. I’ll be back for sure. 10/10

Its an ok pub - not blown away, not bad.

Food leaves a lot to the imagination and queues for the bar were massive. I love going to a pub, but Ill skip this one in the future.

Came down to Clapham Common to meet my cousin after his super run in the London Marathon We came out from the tube station and immediately loved the buzz and landscape of Clapham we walked down through the busy street with a continental feel of people drinking and dining outside We arrived at the Sun pub and struggled to find a seat as a lot of tables were reserved but eventually found a table outside and enjoyed a couple of drinks. My Son and his girlfriend had a Sunday lunch @£15 which looked delicious The pub has a nice atmosphere and a lovely clientele of young Upwardly Mobile people I will definitely come back and explore the area and visit the Sun !!

I had my birthday party in the garden area of The Sun last night 3/9. It was excellent, the bar staff were so accomodating, the food was amazing and the vibe of the whole place was happy and fun. Id recommend it for a private event or just a lovely evening out! Thanks everyone at The Sun for making my night special!

Came in for the first time and the whole place had such a nice environment to it. The server Chloe was very kind and easy to chat to, would recommend to a friend and coming again soon!

I came in for the first time with some friends and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I was having a bad night but a bar staff server called Chloe was absolutely lovely and made my night, she was very understanding when I messed up my drink order and had very kind eyes and was a great chat. Great pub with terrace and live music. Nice staff. We tried the fish and chips and it was very good.

Nice bar area and food atmosphere but staff very slow and unhelpful. As the bar was busy, we ordered via the app but this took between 20 and 30 minutes to arrive. One time we queried the staff about where our drinks were and they said although it had taken our money, it hadn’t made it to their systems and said ‘what do you want us to do about it’. We eventually got our drinks, but would put us off returning.

Lovely place to go to for a summer drink. Ambiance is great too! And dog friendly.

Great service, and good food. The seemed to run out of quite a few dishes when I went, but they made up for it in spades. Call ahead if youre looking for something in particular, so you arent disappointed if they are sold out of what you want.

Popped in for a lunch today. Schnitzel was delicious. Have visited in the evenings usually and it’s always busy and vibey. Today was nice n quiet but service was great as ever, I think it was Matt that served us, top guy.

Had a brilliant time at the Sun. A large part of our great experience was down to Lucy, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and ensured we had a good night. Would highly recommend.

For the Weds Pub Quiz alone.Very well run and keen to return. Approachable questions, not too long, with some amusing rounds at the end. Everyone in one square room created a nice jovial atmosphere.

The food is always amazing and the staff has always been friendly but on this occasion they went above to accommodate us. I mistakenly booked regular food/ drinks when I thought I booked the Christmas menu - even though this was my mistake the manager went and spoke to the chef and was able to get us the Christmas meal anyway. Defo recommend.

Had a fabulous meet up on Saturday, we had booked a table thank goodness as it was heaving. We had each one of the starters as sharing between us , their food has definitely improved, we also had baked camembert in bread - delicious. They even did drinks at table for us - lovely service.

One of my favs. Always a good pint and a good atmosphere. They have a private function room also that we hired out for an S&M themed party which was great fun! Got absolutely smashed!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Sun on Monday. A very warm welcome from Lucy, who was quick and precise with our food and drink order, and chatted to us throughout the evening whenever she would pass our table. We will definitely be returning soon for another visit!

Really good food. We had a chicken sunday roast and fish and chips, excellent quality pub food!

Absolute shocker! This pub has gone seriously downhill. We had booked a table for a roast. There was no-one at the door/on the floor, so had to queue at the bar to ask where we should sit. They hadnt reserved a table for us, so had to clear one. The place was a complete shambles and visibly dirty, with piles of plates and dirty glasses literally everywhere! No-one clearing tables. We were told to order via QR code which was painful and didnt even accept payment, so had to go to bar in the end where they got our order wrong. We literally couldnt get out of there quick enough. Very pleased we didnt eat there in the end - if its visibly that much of a mess at the front, I dont want to imagine what its like in the back/kitchen.

Food was lovely and they were able to move us out of the sun and into the shade with no problems. Our server Lucy was so lovely and brought us extra cutlery. Excellent service, would definitely come again!

Its okayish. The location is good and fair prices for a British pub. I usually go here with my team mates after football. Ordering food is always tricky though. You might get properly cooked meals but today the fries were just awful, rock hard, and the scotch egg as well was really soggy but the egg itself was decent. Sausage and mash and the salmon were great. The sweet potatoes were also good, much better than the normal fries.
