Lord and lady of the pub are absolutely legendary. Genuinely lovely, bubbly, fun loving, warm hearted people who make the place what it is

Went to watch football,few screens around beer ok.Toilets lacking in hygiene that said host was good.

Nice boozer good beer good price locals made you feel welcome and where friendly cant knock the place

Great little local! Good beers at decent prices. The bartender, Tammy, is great. Definitely should be on your “must visit “ list if you’re in Torquay.

Legendary landlord and landlady as always, never seen them without a smile on their faces and always make a effort to stop and chat each time I go there 😀

We just called in for a quick beer and ended up staying all evening, Great staff very welcoming, friendly locals , great beer prices brilliant atmosphere, chippy and taxi opposite you cant go wrong, will definitely go there again.

Excellent atmosphere and staff are full of fun. A great pub for meeting the locals and real treat for any visitors to the Bay! They love how welcoming Kelly and Jim the managers 👧 and us locals are ❤. It is a show bar!! And the landlord is known for his Zealous Elvis Presley show at the weekends with great singers and great prices on all drinks! See you there 💋. Gaz x

Jim Sporty is not only my dad, but a real great guy. Not only does he feed our family by scamming people through games of pool, but he has every gold ring on the face of the earth. Not only is he also Elvis Presley but hes my dad?! Jim sportys is a legend, I love that man and if you had any brains you would love him to, hes what you call class. I would sell my kids for one of his rings, even if he does support spurs. England 2 Germany 0 luv Bristol innit

As soon as I walked into sports bar they made me feel like one of the regulars. Couldnt fault anything about this bar. Would definitely recommend stopping there if youre in Torquay.

Popped in for one quick drink, didnt leave till the early hours. Great atmosphere, unique and charismatic landlord. Must visit this pub for an unforgettable experience. Brilliant karaoke.

Call in this pub on the way home having read the reviews ,was very disappointed the place look dirty and the girl behind the bar spent her time swatting flys with a beer mat on the bar not good

only advised on entry no kids after 19.30, not a problem what so ever...... MAKE A SIGN.

Proper booze, were not local (Southamptonbut very time we come in were made to feel like locals! Open fire, sky sports, great landlord and old fashioned bar rolls! What more could you want in a pub?!
