The place in good location but there are more things need to be done. There was no wifi and I need to work likely I had my own router but its not good for business purposes.

The outer strucee of the place does not invite one to come in. It looks like a flat rental place instead of a hotel. I just did not find anything inviting me in it.

Lovely old building filled with old days charm. Nice comfy bed. Anything you ask is never too much for the staff. Food is fantastic! Very friendly people. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoy our regular visits to the Hotel. You can enjoy the lovely meals on special daily, Slotmachines , or just a drink at the pub.Affordable accomodation and wi-fi.Our favourite Hotel in Town

Simple and unpretentious, dont expect a range of craft beer, but find an old school bar and simple easy food menu. Stop for a dop, stay for a chop

I can highly recommend this hotel. My daughter and I were looking for a place to stay in Somerset East and my my plans to stay in BnB did not work out so late in the afternoon we rang their bell. A great place. Friendly family run business with good food and clean rooms. You missing something if you do not stop here.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms are lovely and clean. Their food was delicious. And their dom pedro! I could go to Somerset just for it. Absolutely to die for!

My wife and I travelled with our motorcycle and just stop at Somerset Hotel. We were warmly greeted and we just loved the stay. Really enjoyed the payment braai that was a blast. Thanks guys will definitely come past again. Marthinus
