The Snug Pizzeria in Sionainn

Pizzas out of here are amazing. Among the best pizzas Ive had in Ireland. Staff and chef are really friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be going back here for more. My 3year old loved the teddy bear pizza option.

Pizza was tasty but the Tapas were ridiculously over priced .5 little tiny bruchetta pieces with a little ham and cheese 8.45!

Had a house salad with chicken.it was superb.had it outside as it was sunny.will definitely go back.Been back again.absolutely superb.

Its the second week that we tried eat in the place or order take away and the two times we got the same answer "we cant do it". We had food there before and it was amazing perhaps took 1 hour and 40 min!!!!Food good but the service doesnt make it worth it. Definitely dont go there if youre hungry or dont like to wait.If you cant serve food to your costumers dont keep your sign outside fooling them go to the door and have to turn around.Its a shame because is a nice place with nice food.

The staff is good the pizza has great seasoning for Irish standards however it was on the steep side as the pizzas are a little small. However for a night out its reasonable enough

On holiday in Mountshannon and called here for dinner . lovely cosy restaurant in the village .great food and very attentive staff .lovely evening had by all .well worth a visit for coffee dinner and dessert .

Lovely stop for lunch, simple menu but really well executed with good ingredients and very pleasant service. They where booked up for dinner unfortunately otherwise would definitely have gone back.

First time eating out since early 2020 and it was great, just as I remember. Had takeaways from here several times during lockdown, but lovely to actually eat in again.

A great tapas and pizza menu, delicious food and fantastic desserts. We will return and hope to try something on the extensive organic wine list next time. The staff are particularly friendly and welcoming, such a lovely atmosphere!

Arrived in Mountshannon while holidaying on the Shannon. Came across The Snug Pizzeria and couldn’t recommend it enough. Food and service was excellent.

Weve been lucky to eat here twice. Fantastic food and lovely atmosphere. Also very child friendly and they make lovely teddy bear shaped pizza. Adult size pizzas are really tasty and lots of options for vegetarians. Great coffee, too. Look forward to visiting Mountshannon again so we can eat in The Snug.

Very friendly staff and excellent good at affordable prices. This was a welcome break from the usual holiday snacks. Great selection from the menu. Would highly recommend if you are in the area.

Lovely little pizza and tapas place with a friendly atmosphere and funky new age decor. Tapas were mostly bread based but very delicous. I cant put my finger on it but it felt so welcoming. It could have been the good weather or the company or the cheery, smiling staff but our visit there really lifted our mood.

Lovely find, just after having fab coffee and deserts . Cakes so fresh and made on site. Well worth a visit and lunch & dinner menu looks excellent and very well priced.We enjoyed it so much we went back that evening for dinner , lived up to our expectations. Well worth a visit if in the area.

A must visit when in the Mountshannon area. Cozy interior, the staff are really friendly and the pizzas are great. They do take out too and a cute teddy bear pizza for kids 😍 On Saturdays when the Mounshannon market is on you can go into the snug for a nice morning coffee and croissant.

This was an unexpected treat! Fab pizza and salads in the loveliest surroundings & great service. Only sorry that we didnt have room for dessert.

Pizzas were lovely. The restaurant is very cosy and staff were really nice and helpful, even ringing us in the pub when our order was ready to collect so we could squeeze in a quick pint. Couldnt get chips unfortunately, otherwise 5*

Lovely little restaurant ,great tasty pizzas, tartlets, salads ,breads and desserts. Great coffee and beers too. Very nicely decorated and warm. Lovely friendly caring staff who look after you so well. They do wonderful takeaways also.

What a little gem of a place! Just across the road from the harbour its deceptive from the outside. Very cosy. Delicious food, wine and coffee. Friendly staff. And on a good day the outside seating area is a real sun trap. Would highly recommend.

Up there with the best pizza iv ever had nice and I love pizza a real hidden gem! Also tapas menu is really good would eat it all day long! Ill be back

Staff a bit distracted at times...French chef and French radio on...as a European i like it but i guess Americans would feel a bit confused with the Laissez-Faire of the place, but it is a lovely ambiente, and the food is good. Will definitely go again.

But please book in advance as they are a busy place. Even though I didnt book a table the very nice young chap was very accommodating and reserved a table for my daughter, husband and I. Nice spot.Pizza was delicious and a good size too. Had medley type desert, coz my other half didnt want me to, (brownie, pannacotta, cookie and a mocha, all for €4.50), and it was perfect.Very reasonably priced meal. Friendly, helpful staff. Fresh, clean and tastefully decorated restaurant. Will definitely return.

Gorgeous food, reasonable prices and excellent service with a smile. What else could one ask for when eating out in Mountshannon? Perfect for lunch, dinner and afternoon coffee and cake. Thank you Alain and team. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Great pizza, delicious salads, great and affordable wine list, lovely craft beers. Lovely place for a group meal and also kid friendly.

Great cozy place, with excellent food. Got the duck pizza; thin crust, crispy duck. Finished the meal with an affogato. Also, a reasonably priced and decent wine selection. Worth a visit if youre in the area and theyre open. Hours are seasonal so its worth checking ahead of time that theyre open when you want to go.

Lovely tapas and pizza. The homemade ice cream and hot toffee toffee are well worth saving room. Delicious!

Really tasty pizzas with lots of vegetarian choices too. The Snug is a quaint intimate place and a real find. The service was good and fast. We really enjoyed it.
