Its a weatherspoon... toilets always full of surprises

Really not the same as it used to be. Changeable closing times dependant on a neighbouring pub to discourage latecomers. All at the expense of the regular customers. Non sympathetic and dismissive manager.

Excellent service, great food and drink and superb prices. Lovely atmosphere.

Go here for our breakfast service is always comes quite fast and you can refill your coffee for free

Nice, friendly staff. Reasonably priced food & drink, plus prompt service...Wife is slightly disabled, so staff were very attentive and came over more than once to see that we were alright.Will pop back again next time we are in the area...

Did the trick on a hot day, bar staff friendly & efficient, server very polite. Browsed the net on their wi-fi whilst eating a beyond burger & drinking a pepsi, unbelievable value at £5 something!

We had a nice afternoon, the drinks and service was fine. We will visit again.

Pleasant enough Wetherspoon in Shipley serving the usual cheap and cheerful food and drink, always reliable.

Excellent service. Friendly sraff. Good pint of beer (blonde).Prices have risen quite a lot so go for the specials. We went for steak Tuesday (beautiful).

In our 1 week trip we visited this place 3 times because of how good it was.Very cheap, very tasty, a nice atmosphere and a large menu with something nice to eat for everyone. 5/5

Typical large Wetherspoons pub with the usual disappointing food. Didnt think they could get Ham, eggs & chips wrong but unfortunately I received one massively overcooked fried egg instead of the advertised two and got about half a dozen chips. Only saving grace was that the meal was cheap or it would have gone back to the chef.. plenty of other pubs better than this in the area so wont return. Staff not the friendliest or welcoming either.

The air conditioning was on full blast and felt really cold. Meal was ok but not very hot.

Fast nice food and staff were great

Shame about my bacon butty it was cold ear half off it asi was hunger took the other half to manager he took it back to be grilled again

Nice drink at correct price,also food was very good.Furniture and decor will be in need of brightening up soon.

Nice spacious pub,had a pizza and it wasnt hot enough and could have done with being in the oven a little bit longer,not bad.Nice to have the air-con and the food was a lot better !

Poor standard of cleanliness. Tables not wiped down, food ground in to carpet and not cleaned.

Large floor area with lots of tables and a good selection of beers and spirits at discounted prices.Always found the staff pleasant and helpful , the only downside is it doesnt have the ambiance of a better pub, but then it doesnt have their high prices!

A good place to meet in the centre of Shipley. Fair range of beers. The best things were the friendly and helpful staff and the low cost.

Went to shelter from the rain and get some breakfast. Lots to choose from on the menu, love the refill coffee. Cheap and cheerful, great source for babies and prams.

Good ale/Lager. Good food. Dont need a mortgage to drink there. Only thing is no outside seating which is a shame but still a good bar.

The usual in my favourite pub in Shipley. Good beer, good service and good company. Definitely more of a local than most, spoons.

Great place to pop in for a quick bite or drink whilst shopping. Went in for breakfast which was as good as always. Friendly staff and quick service.

Friendly staff. The place itself is grim. Dirty glass with someones pink lipstick still around the rim. The salad was all brown and wilted ! Not a great lunch experience.

Food was great.. but too many tables to close together.im in a wheelchair and it was very busy. I found it very difficult to manoeuvre around tables and seated people..it was an obstacle course.like many places need to look at the height of tables so a wheelchair user can actually get there legs under whilst sat in the wheelchair..great food.bit wont be returning

Pizza was slightly underdone ,chips were cold but buttermilk chicken was very nice.Quick service , friendly staff however I got a glass of milk for my daughter and it has to be taken back as it tasted chemically.Ok place. Not sure IL be back.

Good selection of beers long queue for drinks so we ordered 2 round on app place full for a friday teatime

Dreadful! Only time I have experienced scampi and chips to have more scampi than chips. Scampi was cooked at too high a temp- rock hard coating. The few chips were hard. And as for the mushy peas....a thin layer of green mush on the plate. Not one single pea on it. None of it that hot either. I will not eat there again.

We have been twice this week for breakfast, its is well worth a trip,staff helpful and friendly, service quick,food and drink very good,the only problem is parking. We have been to other witherspoon and no problem with the food

Cant really fault the service we receive. Staff are polite and happy to help. We regularly good for breakfast on a Sunday. We order a few extras and staff are more happy to give us an extra so we share the breakfast .5 stars from me and my wife

Decent prices for drinks, £2.99 for a pint of my favourite bevvy, food is standard but at least it’s cooked! Would recommend.

We stopped today for breakfast just before noon in this pub. Its rather basic inside but we had good food and nice hot drinks.

Im not one to frequent a Weatherspoons but I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, the decor is tired and there is more atmosphere in outer space but the drinks are cheap with quite a variety of bottled beers and the staff were friendly and quick at getting your order and clearing tables. The toilets were surprisingly clean too.As it was late on Saturday I wasnt able to taste the delicacies produced by Chef Mike but I presume its the standard Weatherspoons affair. There are worse places to go in Shipley.

I love Wetherspoons. Great value. The staff are very efficient at clearing tables but need to wipe them down. Nothing worse than turning up to an empty table only to find a big dollop of tomato sauce in the middle of it. And tables with more than one number on or a duplicate number.

I had a fantastic time here on Sunday, they had a fantastic range of cask ale to excite then the most weary of beer drinker. The place was clean and the service was with a smile. Everything I ordered arrived within a few minutes from the app. I hope to return again when in the area soon. Cheers!

Ive visited many Wetherspoon pubs up and down the country. This one stands out from the rest, mainly down to the friendly, hardworking staff. One thing Ive noticed in many of these pubs is tables are mainly never cleared for some time, or wiped down. Staff can also be quite unsmiley too. Never experienced any of this here. All tables cleared after eating. Staff always on ball and welcomed you with a friendly smile. Food was top notch too.

First class. Was just passing by on a wander around Shipley. Popped in for a quick bite. Noticed on the menu there was a meal deal. 2 meals for £7.69. I got Cottage Pie. The wife had Beef Chilli.Cant fault it. Very tasty and well presented. The place was well over 2/3 rds full and can see why now.Well be back again soon. 10/10

Manager was great to smooth over a miss order. You see, there is no skinny beef burger on the menu, there is however, a skinny chicken burger, and chicken is what by better half always orders in burger form when were out. She got beef, and wasnt pleased, but the manager was very good about the mix up and settled the grumbletonian situation with free drinks. All good and respect was had. Perhaps the young man taking orders will learn the spoons menu to a better effect for next time. Still love the place.
