The Shops at Stonefield in Charlottesville

I usually go here to see a movie and grab lunch. The shops seem nice, not that Ive done a lot of shopping here. They are higher end stores which we dont have a lot of in Charlottesville. So if you like that type of store youll love it here.Sephora moved here and along with that their prices went up. I think everything here is very expensive. But my understanding is prices have gone up everywhere. Its just that trying to find a good, but not super high dollar raincoat is impossible to do here. I looked at one at Orvis and another at LL Bean, both were nearly $400! For a lightweight rain jacket! I shouldnt have to decide whether I feed my family or stay dry.All the clothing stores are high end with high end pricing. If thats your thing then youll love the stores here.Ill just use this "mall" for movies and the occasional meal out.

Destination worthy for a vacation, no lie. Not cheap, but very reasonable for the quality in every shop, and there are deals to be had. Love, love, love the Hyatt Place, Sarah and Kico are wonderful hosts, best hotel breakfast ever.Coolest shopping experience in Cville these days. It has EVERYthing, food, cool stuff/shops, movies, indoor dining, outdoor Cafe style, great, safe place to walk with the family. Impeccably clean, even the parking lots (go Josh! 😀). Plenty of parking. There is Something beautiful about the whole place. Highest recommendation. Would give it more than 5 stars 🌟 if Google would let me.... 🤔 😆 😎 ❤️

Outside of Trader Joes and the theater, shopping is very niche

This area is very cool. It was great to have a Sunday dinner and walk around.

Expensive place to shop but very charming

Lots of good choices. Parking is not always easy but the shops are with the hunt.

Wow! Prices are soaring everywhere and the increases are not minor. Once the fed jumps a full point rate hike combined with supply issues and hiring challenges coupled with workers striking, threatening to strike or just walk off the job we may find recession a step above the real world folks live in.

Great shopping area! Great stores and some really good resturants as well.

Went to Organic Krush for breakfast lovely store but Organic is not my thing a little expensive for breakfast.

There is so much in this shopping center I can go get something to eat and then go shopping.

Its a beautiful version of a strip mall I will go back soon

Besides Charlottesville downtown mall the best other outdoor place where you can walk around from one shop to another without fear of being run over by cars.

Love Burger Bach best burgers and oysters. Trader Joe is great.

Great mix of stores and homes, all walkable. Nice spot for a date. Hit Thai Cuisine & Noodle House or Burger Bach... Duck Donuts for dessert, catch a movie, then cap it off @Champion bar for terrific live music.

We went to the movies and then Trader Joes, had a great experience. Will be back to check out more stores. As you were.

Lots of overpriced stores but ii is the home of Trader Joes and some tasty restaurants.

Egress and ingress a little inconvenient. I go for Trader Joes, Noodles and Co, and pet food (Crate and Marrow). Havent been to cinema since b4 covid but its alright, although Id prefer the Violet Crown.Locals hate this place. Pretty Xmas light. Wish they didnt knock down the trees and overcharge businesses on rent. Parking lot is dangerous.

Parking lot is a nightmare (not their fault, cville drivers are terrible lolalways have what I need and the staff ROCKS!

Burtons Bar & Grill is a great place for a healthy, tasty lunch with a fun atmosphere. Service is exceptional, and knowledge of the menu/ingredients is superb

Love shopping at Trader Joes..I have a Drs appointment at UVA every 3 months and then stop by Trader Joes before heading back to Roanoke. We would love to have Trader Joes in Roanoke Va.

This is a great day trip for us !! So many great stores and restaurants. Nice to walk around outside between the shops and enjoy the breeze. Very nice area !

Love this place. Lots of knowledgable people and a wide selection of every different kind of unique food you could possibly want. Its a treasure trove of the inquisitive foodie for sure.

Either you Trader Joe or not and Im a big fan. Grocery store of the past only in size because the products are amazing at a great value. The staff is their biggest asset!

Love this mall. Great stores, easy outdoor walking from store to store. Streets are tight for 2 cars, otherwise its great

I would say the shopping center is larger than most malls. The local is spreaded out between the different stores. Shopping center has clothes, food, pet supplies, general supplies, movie theaters, even local markets from time to time. Worth exploring if you live in the area or have sometime between layovers.

Small, slightly more upscale shopping center. There are some tasty restaurants to eat at, as well as a movie theater. Definitely check out Burtons Grill!

This Trader Joes is the most spacious and easy to navigate I have seen. The fresh produce uniformly fresh and excellently displayed. The aisles wide enough to comfortably navigate. The employees smiling and helpful.

Loved the lamb burger. Burger Bach was yummy. The Mango Old fashion was unexpectedly tasty. James the waiter was very accommodating. Great food.

Such a zen and relaxing way to shop. Love the restaurants and the small boutiques for great gift ideas. I am also obsessed with all of the spas and beauty shops. Lots of parking, too!

Trader joes has staff for crowd control. It was easy in-easy out for me twice now. Great prices on store brands. A lot of items clearly marked vegan so didnt have to spend too much time reading ingredients. Staff friendly each time.

Love the movie theater, its nice and quiet, but the tickets are $2.50 more than the Short Pump Regal Theater! I have anxiety and panic disorder, so usually this theater is my best bet to avoid lots of people by going to matinees during the week.

This is a seemingly newer shopping center located in Charlottesville. It features a wide variety of stores and restaurants and has a very nice charm to it that you may find in other places like Carey Town in Richmond, VA.The store variety is pretty high but theres also a certain amount of sameness to it since a lot of them are one off businesses that seem to cater some of the same stuff. Also a lot of the restaurants have seemingly higher prices and seem to offer a lot of the same ambiance.However, that is only a small detriment and you will only notice it if you look for it.Otherwise this place is really nice and is very much so worth visiting. The parking is ample and it is extremely hard to miss it.

We bought groceries @ Whole Foods. They are partners with Amazon Prime, so many items throughout the store had special reduced prices, and we took advantage of them! Because we live an hour away and werent familiar with this store, we occasionally asked questions of staff and found them accommodating and friendly. I did use the ladies room in the back of the store, which was very clean. I loved the container of shaved ice by the exit which we bagged to keep our frozen items cold, since we had an hours drive home. Ive never seen this in any other grocery store Ive visited and was impressed.

My family and I visit Stonefield shops on a regular basis. There are many nice upscale restaurants, coffee, shop, donut, and clothes retailers. The grounds and public areas are always beautiful and clean. There is also a 14 Regal Cinema with 3D and other high-tech viewing options. Parking is easy also, but it is a popular place, so go early for best parking before normal meal hours. Enjoy it, we always do.

Love this place. You have places to eat and places to buy things. Also a place to watch things. I go here often. Like two or three times a year. You must try out the food options as there are many that have different tastes. The other shops are nice and the employees generally look nice and smell fabulous. 5 out of seven stars. Well have to return.

This is such a lively and fun place to be on a Friday night or a weekend. The outdoor shopping area is always so clean, and the people are very friendly. I recommend this shopping area to anyone who is visiting the area and is looking for something to do. They have fantastic food options on the strip (Burger Bach and Ducks Donuts being my favorites), and there is a movie theater conveniently located there as well. Its a great place to bring the family and unwind together.

Bach Burger...Very flavorful burgers. Best beef in Cville. A little pricey but worth the treat. This is what a burger should taste like.( I grew up on a 250 acre cattle farm, this is quality beef)

Wow. Unreal variety of stores, and unmatched quality everywhere you look. And so much to do, a real family destination. Cant pick a favorite restaurant, everyone Ive been to has been excellent. Love the takeout at Trader Joes and Littlejohns, Rock Salt is wonderful....Want to give this place more than 5 stars 😊❤
