Older lady serving breakfast needs to slow down.didnt take time to listen to my order.tea an toast came out to early so was cold.breakfast Sat down while we were eating cereal.both breakfast orders were wrong.whole thing felt very rushed...On the up young Waitress did get me lovely poached eggs and was very pleasant...breakfast was tasty apart from sausages...rooms r first class very clean..evening meal was 5 star...bed was unreal definitely will be back 🤩

Stayed her in March for my Daughters wedding. Visited again 19th June and had the carvery, delicious and the staff are lovely

Food was okay - I could have made nicer mozzarella flatbreads at home. My mother asked for a small portion of the roast dinner, but we seemed to be charged for the full one (cant be entirely sure). Couldnt get attention of staff for about 10 mins - no one looked our way once we had our food - so I ended up walking to the register just to ask for extra gravy. Overall, not bad but wouldnt hurry back.

Not what I expected for that price. Two main courses came to 54 euro and didn’t even come with any salad/veg. Won’t be rushing back.

I cant to talk about the rooms because I just had a dinner there.A very good food and an excellent service.

Service was bad, sandwiches had no butter or mayonnaise so of course were dry and fell apart on plate . No proper filling , salad was not chopped up just lumps of tomatoes and red onion. Waited for tea and coffee, and waited ! When I went to "manager" he disagreed in his usual sneery tone , no apology, didnt want to check on them , didnt want to know .!! And this was all after my fathers funeral !!!.. never again!!! Extremely disgusted with this place and the way we were treated !

I have event planned around the UK and Ireland for a few years, but I have never come across the sort of intuitive, genuine and exceptional customer service you will find at the Shirley Arms Hotel. The staff is absolutely superb and they are all a credit.Not to mention the beautiful quality of the food, the warm ambience and the comfort of the venue.I cannot recommend hosting your event here highly enough!

Nice meal ,had sea bass for mains and chowder for starter ,well cooked and lovely fresh taste ,good portions too ,staff very attentive ,overall a lovely place to eat

Fantastic food wonderful service cant praise it enough

My room was freezing cold .radiator didnt come on .I told the girl at reception in the morning ,brought up a small electric radiator to my room .and got down on her knees and got underneath the table and turned on the radiator. It was turned off .How would a customer know it was turned off .And why would I get on my knees and get under the table to turn it on .It should have been on knowing someone was checking in to rooms .Also staff was not friendly at all .I stay in alot of Hotels and I can honestly say the staff were not at all friendly. Other people staying there had the same issues I had

Top class. Food and service are brilliant.

We went for a meal as a group and were served by the female manager who was just fantastic. She was amazing and looked after us so well.The rest of the were really good, but she really stood out.

This establishment is openly supporting a two tier society by refusing services to unjabbed indoors. Discrimination is top of the menu here, money matters more than morals it seems. Id rather spend my money elsewhere that has more people-friendly policies.
