I had the Salmón Benedict with tator tots as my side and tried the pineapple mock-tail. Service was great, food was delicious(as always)

The Shelby is amazing! Great atmosphere, incredibly wonderful food, and top notch staff. One of their chefs recently won the big Iron Chef competition at The Great Allentown Fair. Seriously, this place is really awesome! Highly recommend.

The dining rooms outdoor atmosphere was appealing to me. The wait staff was helpful and on time. All of the people in my party appreciated the dinner because it had been prepared well. My wife is a vegan, and she thought the vegetable lasagna was delicious. This was a welcome surprise because many restaurants serve vegan foods that arent actually vegan. More vegan options on the menu would be a good thing.

While my paella was tasty, and I will have it again, the mussels were overcooked. The clams and shrimp were good. The rice was perfectly cooked. The dish had just enough spicy heat to be interesting and not overpowering. Perhaps next time my rating will be a 5.

Great dinner! ordered the chief special pizza which had unique toppings. Service was prompt and efficient. We have gone there many times and have not been disappointed. We always take our out of town guests to Shelby’s because it’s a first class establishment.My only suggestion is there wine by glass offerings could be enhanced.

Finally got to eat here after it being recommended by so many. Food is absolutely amazing. Started off with the peach iced tea which was quite refreshing but not overly sweet. Next was the short rib quesadilla which would be great as an entree given how much short rib they pack into it. I had the Cubano sandwich which also had short rib and steak. Flavors mixed well with the crusty bread, horseradish mayo, pickles and meat. This came with a choice of fries, tots, Caesar or side salad. I got the side salad which was super fresh and had a nice sweet vinaigrette. I would have preferred cherry or grape tomatoes versus the Roma but still delicious. Husband got the special which was a grilled cheese with short rib which was grilled to perfection and stuffed with short rib. Our server Michael R made the whole experience even better! He was attentive to details (they gave husband a side salad when he ordered Caesar and Michael caught it immediately-he was just going to eat it since it wasnt a big deal). He was also super easy to talk to and he gave great recommendations on food and drinks. He definitely made us feel welcomed and made it a great lunch. Overall a great experience for lunch. Would come again however would recommend reservations because they fill up fast!

Interesting American menu. A huge tent-covered patio is good for large groups. The noise level is high inside and out so maybe not great for a quiet dinner-for-2. Service and food were all very good.

Great bar/cocktail selection. Can make lots of drinks not on the menu. A little more upscale/pricy but good quality food and drinks. One of the few bars in the area that will make drinks like whiskey sour with an egg white

Went there tonight on the suggestion of a former student and absolutely loved the food the ambience and the service. I made reservations just out of habit and I was glad I did because it was crowded for Wednesday night. No wonder the food is amazing!

I ordered online for the first time with an extended pick up time. When I arrived, I was greeted by two lovely gals who knew exactly who I was. A young man approached, listened, left and return in a minute with my order. They were all so attentive and friendly. I have not been treated so good in quite some time. The added bonus was the salmon platter I purchased was simply amazing. Will return there again and again.

We ate here recently for the first time and were very impressed. The service was great and the food was excellent!We particularly liked the short rib, which was outstanding and including some accompaniments (the sweet relish and the mushroom pureethat we hadnt had before with a short rib, but went perfectly with it.We absolutely want to come back!

I went to Shelby for the first time for a business meeting and I was truly amazed. The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. Our server Olivia was really accommodating and sweet. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was amazing, and they had a fair number of choices. I will definitely be back!

Been a customer for years. A weekly go to spot so when I returned to the area after months away it was the spot to celebrate with family. Ouch, What happened to the impeccable service. Food was average, it’s time to update the menu, We all have bad days so I’ll be back for a second chance. Hope it’s better next time if not , time to move on.

This is our go to. Brunch is amazing, cocktails on point, and the ambiance is perfect for day or night. Both the server and bartender Mike(shave never steered us wrong. Chris and all recognize us and give us a warm welcome each time.

Seemed like a really cool place with good atmosphere. Food was very tasty. Lunch took a bit longer than Id like for a business lunch and there wasnt a lunch menu with specials. The Shelbey is on the classier/fancier side so that makes sense. Its a bit too classy for me probably, but thats just a me thing :Lunch was great, definitely worth a try and continued patronage if you enjoy the vibe.

Beautiful place and the food was good. We were just taken back a bit by our waiter that seemed to have a problem with our drinking. I’m a heavy drinker and handle my liquor very well. We weren’t loud or anything and every time I ordered another drink I could see the judgement in his face. I drink like this everywhere I go and have never had a problem. Mind you I’m not alone. I’m with other people so obviously I’m not driving. And I actually let him know since he asked me if I was driving. I just don’t like to be judged and so this really turned me off. Other than that everything else was great.

Great place, great food, although could stand to list all their ingredients a little better as my friend wasnt able to eat her dish originally as some allergies werent listed. They however promptly let her order something else and it arrived shortly after. Wait staff was great, very responsive and the live music was great we really enjoyed the acoustic team they had there.

Excellent food and drinks! Its on the loud side indoors, but quieter outside in the tented area. The tent is large, bright, and airy - I personally prefer it to eating inside

First, the drinks are strong and worth it ‼️ The food is getting more delicious each time we dine here (more than a dozen times‼️ Simply put, just go here for the drinks, food, & ambiance‼️ We like having Thuy as our server during dinner.Update 6/11/22: Always love coming here‼️ Every time we dine at another restaurant of the same caliber, regardless of town, we seem to always compare the food & drinks to here; not too many restaurants can compare. Definitely compliments to the chef, servers, & owner of Shelby for enticing us to come back w/great food & service ‼️

Don’t get the rice bowl! very boring meal plus is not tasty the pork was good but everything else wasn’t tasty at all. The egg seem plastic very hard around it I was trying very hard with my knife to cut it. The way in the menu is described is sounded good and tasty but it was the opposite.

Fantastic service (thank you James), food was excellent (apps, main courses), the warm cookies for dessert are AMAZING! Perfect for a special occasion. Great outdoor dining!It was Ramen Wednesday

A nice, clean restaurant, slowly but surely turning into a garbage container with soggy food. This has been one of my family’s favorite local restaurants for the past year or so but unfortunately I asked my kids to look for another one.

Everything was great! Our server was excellent and everyones food was excellent. I had the appetizer of skewered chicken with warm pita triangles and Taziki sauce. And a house salad..The portion was more than ample and the sauce was so good. My table partners had the Shelby burger which was a great hit plus clam chowder.We had a very enjoyable time. The only downside is it is noisy and hard to hear conversation.

I liked the open-air experience of the dining room. The servers were friendly and prompt. The food was well cooked and all members of my party enjoyed their meal. My wife is a vegan and she greatly appreciated the Vegetable Lasagna. Many restaurants serve vegan dishes that really arent vegan, so this was a pleasant surprise. It would be good to have a few more vegan choices on the menu.

Honestly this place exceeds itself every time. Not just the food but the service also. Tod the manager outdid himself, he made our first anniversary dinner unforgettable! Also the best cheesecake dessert I’ve ever had. We sat outside, the wind, mixed with music and beautiful food. Our waiter Nicholas was also amazing!

I was visiting from New York and a friend took me to this spot. Food was delicious, environment was beautiful, but best of all, the customer service was unmatched. Everyone I encountered was so welcoming and helpful, even on a very busy Saturday. Kelsey was our server and she is the kind of person you just dont forget! Ok yall asked so her goes. I went to The Shelby a few days ago for lunch. I was greeted upon enter by a sweet young lady. A young man was seating me. As Im walking to my seat which was out side (tented areaI noticed were walking to the far back. I say oh dang shes seating me in the back with the bad kids. (Joking with him He says oh no honey, this is where we sit the bad chicks. LOL! I said Well okayyyy!! (I was looking cute today in my fit 🥰). My waitress Victoria was Amazing. I kept it light order a salad with steak kabobs. Steak cooked just right. The salad came with bacon and I forgot to mention no bacon on my first salad. I was just going to pick it out but Victoria was having none of that she insisted on getting my salad how I wanted. (With no bacon💚 She came and took the salad and got me a fresh one.... She was great. 10 out of 10 Id recommend! Going back with the girls... or maybe a date night. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. From the staff to atmosphere it is amazing. The food never disappoints and makes you want to try everything on the menu. They have live music and on holidays you can see the Easter bunny or Santa. The ramen is a must try and the hot chicken sandwich is so tender and juicy. We celebrate birthdays and date nights at The Shelby and have never been disappointed. Absolutely amazing.

The chicken and waffles was superb, the sweet potato makes the dish. The breakfast chimichanga was good too, I loved the hot peppers. The blueberry waffle and special French toast weren’t that good. The customer service was fantastic, even though they are busy, which was a real plus. I’d go back for sure.

I made a reservation online and when our party went from 6 to 7, they accommodated us without a hitch.Our server Devin was great! He explained to us how all the sauces and "things" (thats me not remembering what he saidwere made right in their kitchen.Drinks were a little slow to get, but not his fault, and Im not sure how busy the bar was, so probably not worth mentioning.5 of us ordered appetizers while waiting for the rest of our party to arrive. The beef skewers were delicious, really tender, and the wings, Im told, were amazing.We got chicken parm, swordfish, rice bowl with chicken, 2 orders of paella, a quesadilla and a salad with cream of broccoli soup....and everything, right down to something as simple as the soup, was, aaaand I quote, "really freaking delicious, amazing and out of this world!" 3 to go boxes were asked for because of quantity (and quality).Our birthday guy was offered free dessert, he got the cheesecake which was soooo good. Not heavy like other cheesecake. My son got ice cream, which they bring in from a local ice creamery.Prices were a little above your normal restaurant, but its because they are exceptional and well worth it.We had a great time, and The Shelby and Devin were responsible.Thank you so much! We will most definitely be back.

It takes a lot to impress me anymore but this was great food, great service (super rare post covid), and great atmosphere. Michelle is amazing, ask for her if possible. Will be back very soon!!!!

My family dined here on Sunday for brunch, we had a wonderful waiter named Mike. He was very attentive, friendly and always on his game. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was warm and inviting and the drinks were overflowing!! We will definitely be back!!

Been coming here alot with my family. Staff is always friendly, welcoming and always able to get me a table (Reservations recommendedwhen other places cannot.The interior decor is modern, clean and welcoming. Kitchen caters to changes on the menu items as well.So far I never had a bad experience. Food is always good and cooked to our liking.Drinks are also top notched.I wish there were more steak options. The ribeye is delicious and so is the short ribs but I would love to have a filet mignon here some day. Brunch isnt too bad either.Price is reasonable as well. Give it a shot sometime.

As a well known burger connoisseur in the area I have to give the Shelby a five piece nugget. I came here for the first time with no expectations. Just wanted a classic-ish burger. Some places just try to get too fancy with their burgers. This was simple and extremely delicious. I’ve eaten hundreds of burgers and this is easily one of the best. Also, if you offer the ability to sprinkle tots on the side you got a good thing going on. Incredible.

Great local spot. Good menu with well priced fare. Turkey burger is excellent and their pizzas are solid. Other highlights include their poutine. Great drink menu with an excellent tented seating area. Parking lot can be busy during peak times.

This place is amazing place. We went there for out office Dinner Party. We had so much fun. Live music. That guys got the Talent. Great voice and guitar skills. Great vegetarian options for the Main dish and Starter. I have also order non Alcoholic beverage as well. It was great testing beverage.

Great brunch, with great food and drinks. Large place and clean with expanded seating. The service was great but the place gets packed on a Saturday for brunch so you might want to get reservations if youre not getting there right as they open for brunch at least.

We were visiting from out of town and wanted a nice brunch and this place hit the spot! My family wouldn’t stop raving about how good all the food was and we even came back for takeout the next day. The pizza was phenomenal especially the squash pizza it’s like thanksgiving in a pizza so yum! We got the salmon, Philly cheesesteak, fried chicken sandwich, quesadillas and the beet salad and we loved everything! Will definitely be back when we’re in town. We also loved the outdoor seating, it’s a huge sturdy tens that’s heated well. It kept us protected from the strong wind and storm without any issues!

On a whim my wife and I went her for lunch. I was pretty busy but managed to get two seats at the bar. The food was excellent but the drinks where even better. Good atmosphere and very open platform for the restaurant. We definitely want to see what the night life is like.

This is the go to for the Lehigh Valley restaurant. Food quality and presentation is always of the highest caliber and has been 100% consistent for the many years I’ve been coming here. Bar staff is exceptional (shout out to Mike). Wait staff is exceptional and well trained. Management stays engaged and will come to your table to ensure everything is up to the standard that’s they set. Dare I say best all around restaurant in Lehigh Valley. P.S. the pork belly and manhattans are fantastic

Warm welcome, Drinks, food, service & friendliness - everything was top notch. Our waitress, Priscilla was spot on & even manager, Mindi, was kind & spoke to us on our way out. First visit but definitely not our last !

Great for brunch and for groups. The pumpkin ravioli was delicious, but it is was a special for the day. They are also very accommodating and got me a spicy margarita off the menu.Service is amazing. The servers were absolutely the best and very friendly.Will definitely be back!

If you have never been to the Shelby before make sure to put this on your list of places to visit. Whether you’re going to be visiting for lunch, brunch or dinner or just drinks in general this place is overall a winner. The service, the staff, the food and the drinks I’ve always been on point every time I’ve visited. The staff is super friendly and always polite and very attentive to your needs. They take everybody safety precautions especially during a heightened awareness of Covid into consideration as well. Food has always been good I’ve never had a bad meal yet and I’ve been here more than a handful of times. So if you’re ever in the Lehigh Valley and you’re looking for a really cool spot to go make sure you check out the Shelby.

Busy Sunday Brunch spot! Food was tasty, but not over the top. Deep fried tator-tots? That is comparable to putting lipstick on a pig. My benedict eggs were way overcooked, and the chorizo omlette was fairly basic. Service was mediocre as we had to ask for coffee, and no check-back from the server.Manager did visit the table, and was enamored by our puppy.

Good food and wonderful atmosphere! The waitress was super nice, and the food, while it did take a bit of time to get, was well worth the wait! The drinks were made well and very well balanced. Highly recommended!

We aren’t local to the area but decided to stop by and give this place a try and WOW! Probably the best food I’ve had in a long time. I got the rice bowl with pork. Friendly staff and great service. Food took a while to get out but it was worth the wait! WOW! ☺️☺️💕
