32 London Bridge St, London SE1 9SG, Charef
87-floor glass skyscraper with a jagged peak, with restaurants, offices, hotel and viewing platform.
Amazing views and the staff were friendly. Overall a really nice experience even when it was busy you still had plenty of time to look at the views and enjoy the overall atmosphere.I would like to try some of the restaurants and other experiences they offer as the prices seem reasonable (for Londonwhen book red letter days etc...It is quite pricey but that aside it was really enjoyable, alongside a complementary drink it was enjoyable.
This is an absolute amazing attraction to visit when travelling to London. It can get very busy as it is a popular attraction but I have to say it’s definitely worth visiting. The price is not that bad. Once you are at the top you will have amazing views of London as well as a small coffee bar to have some drinks. If you want to see an amazing view of London skyline, then look no further, shard is the best place for it, better than London eye.Managed to get sunset and night view of the city, words cant describe the feeling.Plenty of food, drinks and seating area if you want to sit and enjoy the view.Would highly recommend to do this if you are in London.
Exquisite! The experience was marvelous. Firstly you dont get booking very easily, but once you get, you get great hospitality. The menu is carefully curated, the view to the tower of London is fab. We had dinner on clouds.I would recommend everyone to visit. Its especially awesome for date nights!
The view from the top is magnificent! We had made reservations at the bar so there wasn’t any entrance cost however, the reservation was 50 per person so it was mandatory to spend this much at minimum per person. Which isn’t an issue if you have two drinks at least as it’s a bit on the pricey end. But you are paying for the service and experience with fancy drinks; that won’t be cheap. The view looks amazing from the top. If you go on a clear day, you see all of the main spots/buildings. The washrooms were very clean and very elegant. For the women’s, it’s a single person washroom, near the gym so it was quite spacious.Definitely check it out once and share the experience with out of town family/friends. They will be amazed for sure.
It was a pick between the London Eye or Sauron’s Eye (aka The Shard). I picked the Shard since I had more control over my time and I didn’t feel like I would be trapped in a huge Ferris Wheel (I might try the Eye next time). The viewing platform gave you a 360 view of the city, it being the tallest building in London. It had photo booths at the top, and bars and an ice cream for kids. A souvenir shop is also available if you feel you need to buy Shard-things. Restrooms are on the same level of the elevator that brought you up.Staff is very helpful. There is a security check though before entering the elevators to bring you up the platform, so be ready for that.I booked my visit through London Pass. Otherwise, it’s £32 per person. If you’re alone, a lot of fellow tourists would be more than willing to snap a photo of you instead of you taking a selfie.I would definitely recommend to do it at least once!
The Shard offered a wonderful experience, the staff are very attentive and we managed to swindle a free history lesson. There is a bar on the rooftop and a small ice cream counter. There is also a lower deck out of the rooftop on the same level as the toilets, and even though you have to go down a level, they are worth it.
Amazing view to the city, absolutely worth it’s price. You can spend as much time as you want upstairs. The toilet is super fun on the 68th floor with the huge windows, that was the best part of the visit , best wee-wee of my life 😂 Cocktails are super expensive in the bar (£13-16). You can’t take any food or drinks upstairs so if you have any, you can leave your bag at the reception for free. Super modern ,fast, huge elevators, takes only seconds to get to the top, disabled friendly. Don’t miss if you visit London 😊
Great attraction, and while the pay on the door price of £32 is a little steep, its well run, with excellent fast security screening, no wait for the lifts, friendly helpful staff and the views from the rop are amazing. Plus at the tip there is a bar selling quite pricey drinks, but then.....you are at the top of the shard!Foe us its got to be No1 tourist attraction! And the fact that the upper level is open with fresh air is just genius!
The Shard is an amazing piece of architecture. I love the way it looks against the London skyline. Its a great place to visit and take in the views of the city. Highly recommended!
The shard it’s a must see you must make a reservation before you go and if you have the London pass it’s part of it and it’s a great experience. I loved the view after a minute ride you are in the 72 floor looking at London in all directions….amazing.
WOW!!! Well worth the money. Just awesome views and so lucky that the weather cleared when we went up at 2pm in the afternoon.First you have your photo taken before you enter the lift. You get given a card with a QR code which links to the photos just taken and you can choose to pay £9.95 to get them printed and sent to you.First lift to floor 68 and then another to floor 72. Lifts are enclosed and seamless. So quiet and quick youve reached the top in 15 seconds. Digital display on the ceiling of the lifts.Lovely staff and very efficient.Couple of small flights stairs to reach final viewing area.Bar selling alcohol and soft drinks and ice cream trolley on both observation levels.Seating areas to sit and enjoy the views with a drink.Fantastic options for photography all around the tower and theyve even placed a telephone box and large standing frames so you can take your own photos.Toilets come with an amazing view!!!!Great experience even though daughter does not like lifts or confined spaces. She managed it though as it was very quick. They dont cram people in the lifts either so theres plenty of space. Thought this would be better than the London Eye as you can walk around freely in the Shard and leave when you want. Views much more spectacular too.
Booked The View from The Shard and it was breathtaking. The views are amazing and you can see all over London! Also great cocktail bars with a great selection of cocktails, beers and soft drinks…very happy and pleasing experience!!
Its an incredible looking building with amazing views over London. Well worth a trip up and it has a few decent options for a cocktail whilst you are in there. It also has the most insanely fast lift, if that kind of thing entertains you, 32 floors in 16 seconds.
A must do if youre visiting London, stunning panoramic views. Far better than the London eye in my opinion. Couple of bars at the top serving cocktails beers and ciders quite expensive though.
Very high up but I’m scared of heights and was fine. Great pictures and the view was impeccable. The glass was very clear and big so there was lots of room for people to see. All around great place to go to make good memories.
If you are visiting London then this is definitely an experience worth doing. Amazing architecture, stunning views across the city but more importantly, you can get a nice cold beer 🍻 at the top!
Great views of London and worth doing once. Very friendly staff. Would have preferred more seating as none were free during our visit. Restricted arrival times without much flexibility meant we had to rush there to be on time, only to find it nearly empty. More seats and more flexibility around arrival times (when not busywould have made it a better visit.
Astonishing view. Another checklist done when visit London. Full view of London and show how well the capital is developed. It is a must to visit all the skyscraper when go to a new place because you can see everything one shot
The Shard is absolutely stunning and high class! We bought passes via London Pass which definitely helped with the cost of admission. From start to finish, the experience was well run and smooth. There are two floors to experience; one indoor and one exposed. Both feature a classy bar with light food. As expected, the views were absolutely amazing.
The viewing gallery is nice with the only downside being lack of seating. Compared to the sky garden it is higher up, yes, but also it is quite a bit more cramped. The sky garden also has a balcony which makes for better pictures.
Incredible service from the staff, very welcoming and friendly. The views are incredible. Only a few seats but its a fairly small space so cant complain too much about that. Well worth a trip, definitely a place to visit if youre in London for the weekend.
I visited aqua, Shard. It was a mind blowing experience. The staff was very professional yet made us feel very comfortable. The food was good but there were not many options for vegans and vegetarians. The best part about the restaurant was the view. It was an enthralling experience. I could spot the skyscraper of the canary wharf and Liverpool street. Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Tower Bridge, St Paul cathedral all stood exquisitely against the beautiful sky. It was amongst the most memorable sunsets I had seen.
Beautiful viewing deck giving you 360 views of the city. However, while you are at the top be prepared to be almost manhandled by their staff who are taking pictures of those who paid for “professional” photos. As if you, who are paying a good amount of money to get to the top too, are a second class customer. If you can, go to witness the sunset. We went on a very clear summer day and the views are absolutely mind-blowing.
Visit for free by just walking in and riding to floor 32. If there is space in the restaurant - enjoy. Otherwise, you can visit the bar on the floor above and have a great cocktail! And dont forget to visit the restroom for a high-rise experience!!
Decent experience from the viewing platform especially at sunset. No complaints but if I was being picky, the lift on the way up couldve been more intereting/interactive. A glass-floored balcony on the viewing platform wouldve been awesome, even if it could only have been a small one.
What a great day. Its beautiful the view from the shard. All the staff seemed to be very happy and all wanted to help us get the best out of our trip. It was amazing. But could not stay there for too long once you walked around and looked out it was enough. Went to the 70th floor and that was fun. Thank you to the staff for making this birthday present experience amazing for my sister. We both had a great time. You get 2 lifts and that was so much fun. Looking up at the ceiling and seeing the view. I believe its something I would say do once at least.
Visited the Shard for the viewing gallery, very nice experience! Breath taking views of all of London in a 360 view.32£ per person but overall worth the money. The gift shop is awesome as they have everything there to choose from and they offer drinks on the top floor!
An amazing view cannot complain about that, absolutely amazing, however, the cost! my god they rinse you out of every penny drinks are astonishing and the entry cost is also very high. staff were great, the view was great; purely lost 2 stars because of the ridiculous cost. would recommend as a once in a lifetime experience unless you have gold to waste then I guess you could go
Worth every penny for admission! These views are absolutely spectacular! Very much enjoyed being able to linger on the top observation floor for as long as we wanted, we never felt as if we were on a time schedule and “had to leave”. The highlight of the visit was chatting with Chris, the extremely knowledgeable and interesting guide. It was wonderful hearing all of his stories and facts about the city, could have chatted with him for hours! Highly recommend!!😃
Amazing! From start to finish absolutely fabulous, can’t fault this place or it’s amazing staff in any way!Safe valet parking, great views, spotlessly clean, very polite and attentive staff, good food! What you waiting for book it already!
We wanted to have one formal tea experience during our trip to London. The fact that the Ting restaurant offers a tea in such a lovely dining space with stunning views made this even more special. The teas, sandwiches, savories and sweets were impeccably prepared and presented. We were all delighted with our experience.
Great views from the top floors of the Shard, a bar on each viewing floors. Tickets are around £31. Few seating on these floors. Can also reserve a table at the restaurant, which gives good views around the skyline of London too.
Well worth the price.. much recommended to all.. if possible visit late in the evening so thatyou are in time for sunset and also get the spectacular night view of London too.. its much cheaper if you buy a London pass and book a timing slot much in advance.
First time visit, Ive meant to go for years and bought an annual pass on Black Friday last year for £39 but only just had chance to collect, absolute bargain! Popped up for a quick look and cant wait to go back with my camera. And what a view from the loo!
An amazing view cannot complain about that, absolutely amazing, however, the cost! my god they rinse you out of every penny drinks are astonishing and the entry cost is also very high. staff were great, the view was great; purely lost 2 stars because of the ridiculous cost. would recommend as a once in a lifetime experience unless you have gold to waste then I guess you could go weekly
Did not go to the top but stopped at level 31 for lunch and it was amazing. Great food and service and the views wow!!!! Definitely will visit again. Booked through Truly, what an amazing service.
I highly recommend a trip to the observation deck at The Shard. The views from here are easily the best in London. Stunning. If you dont mind drinks at a certain price then there is a very classy bar at this level. Once you are in, you can spend as much time as you like here.Top Tip: Book you tickets online for a big discount.
Super exclusive panoramic view from the sky! They offer you a free digital download of the photos they take for you which I found extremely cool. I dislike paying for photos of an experience youve already paid for. This experience is a must
Absolutely stunning views! Worth the experience but not a fan of the price per person. I can get the same experience at the sky garden for free (minus being higher up and waiters coming to tables to serve)
Amazing structure. It would have been incredible views if the cloud and rain hadnt set in as we waited on our lift to the 68th floor. Generally friendly staff, but one guy showed no sense of humour when I asked him if he could do something about the clouds! 🤪 Rather pricey drinks up there in the stratosphere - £9.50 for 2 coffees and £16.88 for ONE Single Malt whisky. Worthwhile experience though - with total cost (with souvenir photo bookletover £100.00.
What can I say, a late birthday mothers day treat from my daughter! It was truly amazing. The view was stunning and staff amazing. Champagne and chips what can I say. Apart from fab
The views around London and surrounding areas are just spectacular. We was fortunate to visit on a clear and sunny day. But all the same it’s still worth a visit. Even though it was a weekday it was still quite busy.
If you want to have an amazing view of London skyline, then look no further, shard is the best place for it, better than London eye.Managed to get sunset and night view of the city, words cant describe the feeling.Plenty of food, drinks and seating area if you want to sit and enjoy the view.Would highly recommend to do this if you are in London.
We went for afternoon tea and had an amazing experience. Really tasty and innovative food, not just as ordinary afternoon tea. The view is stunning and they also have a great deals for bottomless wine and champagne. Well worth if you want to spend a lovely afternoon.
Well what can I say easy to find the entrance and quick to get through the airport style security. You go up in two lifts which are very fast to the point your ears pop like on a plane. When you get out of the lift you are greeted with what can only be described as the BEST VIEW in London. You can see from miles you can go up some more stairs to get to the top viewing area both floors have a bar which we didnt use and once in you can relax and chill out with no time limit. The toilets also have a view see the pictures but you do have a blond if you want your privacy which is nice. Can out you have the gift shop and an option to buy souvenir pictures taken on the way up. These were £25 not bad value for money considering the attraction and the book that it comes in. Great few ours well worth a visit.
Best views over London! It is an amazing experience with 360 views. The attraction is little pricey but worth it. Floor to ceiling glass windows and open area on 72nd floor to get air and hear sounds from the street. Refreshments at the bar are expensive. Tallest tower in the capital to view almost 40 miles of London. My favourites are tower bridge, London eye, and Thames river. I went there at around 4pm and stayed for couple of hours. Great place for panoramic views. This place is very popular and will get crowded in the evenings. I would recommend this place!
Absolutely brilliant. Firstly make sure you do not turn up late or you can expect very long queues. Security is airport style removing bags, jackets and belts. There are 2 lifts to get to the top and they bother move at lightning speed. There are 2 levels for viewing. Level 69 is indoor which music, bar and seating. This level is quite tight when busy. Then you can go up to 72 which is an open top view which much more space. We timed it so that we were there for the sunset and got to experience the views in daylight and then the at nightime with the lights. 👌👌👌 Deffo worth doing.
This is an absolute amazing attraction to visit when travelling to London. It can get very busy as it is a popular attraction but I have to say it’s definitely worth visiting. The price is not that bad. Once you are at the top you will have amazing views of London as well as a small coffee bar to have some drinks.
Beautiful views! Best time to go just before the sunset, as you get to see the city when its still light outside, see the beautiful sunset and the lights at night. A bit pricey but worth a visit!
Great views over London. Although it does seem expensive for what it is, its definitely worth doing if your visiting the area. Sadly we visited where visibility was reduced, but they do give additional tickets to go again for free. Its also expensive for any food / drink but I guess if your going to London you wouldnt expect anything different. All the staff were friendly and more than happy to help.
