The Shannon Irish Pub in Florida

Considering how far this place is from Ireland they had a fantastic amount if decoration and memorabilia. We went in on a quiet night but the ambience was still there. Not entirely sure what it was we were given pints of due to language barrier but it was decent nonetheless.

Had a good evening here. Locals doing open mic night, cool atmosphere and everyone supporting one another

The place is okay.They have Irish decorations and a basement where bands play live music. The ordering system is confusing, the food came more than one and a half hour after we order.. Also they charged extra music ticket but without previous notification, and you have to pay it in cash..

Wonderful place and vibe, specially when they have Celtic live music, blew my mind away.Probably lowering the volume of he music a little would be appreciated since is not very large.

One of the best Irish Bars in Montevideo. It always has the best music. The prices are really affordable and the service is spectacular, all the people that work there make you feel at home.

The service and food was great, however they had multiple bands with the volume up to eleven and was impossible to speak with anyone further than 30cm away from you.Ruined the experience, I wanted to speak with my mates and chill a while instead of listening to a band all night long.

Incredible amazing last night in the basement band, we enjoyed of fruits juice without alcohol and exquisite fish and chips

Apparently the best Irish pub in town but dont expect the best of Irish pubs, its a little bit on the grimy side and not in a good way. The beer wasnt the best as the taps hadnt been cleaned properly and as this is a pretty easy thing to fix should have been sorted out.

It is a nice place to chill and hangout in Montevideo, the live music band is just awesome over here. Its a bit tinnny place, but , you will like when crowd chanting and clapping with live musicians.

Great beer and friendly inside but outside of the bar is really laud because the rest of the spots in the same street.

I ordered food on a Sunday when there were 9 people here, I asked the waitress what was going on after 30 minutes, she said it was coming soon. After 90 minutes I gave up. Really terrible service, even for Uruguay.

It has some good options of craft beers, both bottled and on tap. As many things in the old city, its pricey. Because of that, we didnt have the opportunity to try any food. Anyway, the pub seems like a nice place for happy hours and to listen some live music.
