The Seafood Bistro in Montgomery

My family and I visited for the first time to celebrate my sisters birthday. Some wanted Seafood some wanted wings. They did not disappoint we were all satisfied. The service was superb, Paul did the job of three people. The food was served quick, hot and seasoned well. Overall good food, good vibes and good service. I highly recommend it.

First time here, appetizers are good, loved the fried pickles. Ordered at counter and then apps and main course is brought to your table. Self serve on beverages.

Had a great BLT salad with mahi. I have a wheat allergy so I was pleasantly surprised that I could eat something so tasty even with a dietary restriction. Hubbie had gumbo and red beans and rice and said it was spicy and super delicious. You cant lose here!

Went for our first time today. Had an amazing time. The food was really good and my husband looked so cute in the little bibs they give you. Really cant wait to go back there, highly recommend this place.

That was hands down the best crayfish Ive eaten in a long time Paul was awesome for appetizer gotta get the crab claws

Seafood Bistro food is really good but this is the first time Im completely disappointed.I order a Shrimp Po Jr. And the bread was very Hard! And the fries most of them were burnt.

Maybe we went at a bad time. Waitress was not friendly. No greeting just handed us menus. Grilled fish and shrimp good but some of the sides not so much. The boil bags are good.

Its my to go place for seafood boil bags. Its really good.

The side item that I ordered wasnt warm at all (red beans and rice). The catfish had too much cornmeal on it. The food was just ok.

Seafood Bistro is always great. They offer fried and boiled options from catfish to shrimp to crayfish and even crab legs. The service is always good and the food is always great. This is where we go when we want seafood in Montgomery.

This place was terrible. If you want a good po’boy in the gump, go to the warf. The po’boy itself wasn’t absolutely terrible, (even tho it wasn’t goodthe shrimp was just small, not fresh, and the massive amount of batter never stuck to the shrimp. The crab claws were so bad, I had to give this place a 1 star. It had a terrible off taste and the crab claw platter alone was 27 dollars. Total scam DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!! Bathroom was gross as well. I never write a review unless something is absolutely amazing or so ungodly awful that I have to let people know about it. Seriously what a waste of 90 dollars.

If you like seafood, you must check this place out.This is a cute little spot with a great selection of authentic dishes and personable staff.We had shrimp Po boy, Salmon Cesar salad, and gumbo. Everyone loved their dish.Very generous portions.One thing, be careful, the red beans and rice side dish is spicy hot! Be sure you like that...Whoooo!

The shrimp and grits were bland, the beignets were not beignets, and the Monic pasta tasted heavily of oregano. I dont think we will be back. They also leave the tails on the shrimp.

I went here today to try them out for the first time the food wasn’t good and didn’t meet my expectations the vibe in there didn’t feel good either I ordered a medium set of wings lemon pepper and they give me this I don’t even taste any lemon pepper just a fried piece of chicken considering I paid $12 plus tax they definitely are getting over on people for barely 6 wings and small was a waste of money I didn’t even finish the food the only good thing was the strawberry cheesecake I took these pictures when I got home the chocolate cheesecake was nasty 🤮 they literally put store bought chocolate syrup on it because that’s what it taste like the fries were dry and not good either no seasoning and those were $9 what they give you for what they charge is not enough and the cooking needs to improve overall I wouldn’t recommend and won’t be back✌🏾

Excellent food! We wanted to get Wintzells to go, but they wouldnt answer the phone, so we found this place. Everything--the crab claws, crawfish pasta, shrimp and grits, and gumbo--was top notch! Even the bread had a great seasoning/flavor, and the cocktail sauce was different, in a good way. We will definitely be eating here again!

Please dont waste your money at this place. The meal was not cooked properly. The fries were under cooked and the crayfish was over cooked and not at all fresh. The crayfish batter was so hard I had to peel the cornmeal off to eat it. They sat us to a table with absolutely no napkins in the napkin dispenser. I complained to the waitress about the food and offered her a tip inspite of and she said she didnt care for the tip. She was obviously upset that I complained about the food. I will not be going to the Seafood Bristro again.

Angel our waitress was amazing. The Calamari with ranch dressing was good. My granddaughter had the 1lb crab leg boil in a bag. It came with sausage, corn, potato and of course crab legs. I had the mix boil in a bag. I came with the same thing except I had shrimp also. If you want an egg, its a $1 more per egg. Price range $$-$$$

I’m not gonna lie, I was VERY hesitant to go. They have so many “Cajun” and seafood spots down here in Alabama and they all NASTY. But I took another chance bc I just love seafood. When I tell you this place is worth every penny!Staff was amazing, super nice and helpful, food was 10/10. I had the calamari and dragon shrimp as an appetizer and whew I was already blown away, but I had to stop eating the app so I could save room for the entree! I ordered the Royal reds and crab legs spiced and this is the most flavor I’ve tasted in Alabama!! I abs loved it and the food was so good I forgot to get pics. It just means I have to go back!

Great food, clean restaurant, excellent food & friendly serviceI had the dressed catfish platter with a side of fries. Id already applied hotsauce and and ketchup to my food before I remembered to take a photo. Each visit is better than the last and the service was top notch. I will certainly be visiting again in the future.

Everyone very friendly and helpful! The food was traditional cajun cooking with traditional cornmeal batter. The fried shrimp and cajun potatoes was very good! Even the ice tea was good! I know some people would say that you cant mess up sweet tea, but some places makes it too strong. This was just right! I was very much consider eating there again when I am in the area!

The waitress was not knowledgeable about the food. The waitress was not friendly but not rude. The waitress did not tell us about lunch specials. The food was okay it was not spectacular. However the grilled salmon was delicious. The fried okra was okay but the mac and cheese was horrible. That was my first time and it will be most likely my last time going to this restaurant.

Just came in to get an Togo order Shrimp seafood boil bag. This was the worst bag I have ever had from here. Done of the shrimp where Deveined. I ended up throwing the whole bag away. When I tried calling the restaurant back no one answered I got a recording stating they were closed which online it states that they are open until 10:00pm. I hate to say this but I will not patronize this restaurant anymore if they feel it is safe and Sanitary to have your customers eating Feces.

This was my first time to eat here as I am not from the area and was just passing through. The food was delicious! I had the Dragon Shrimp and the fried jumbo shrimp with hush puppies and onion rings. I loved it! The place was nice and clean. The owner, Paul, was great about answering questions I had and making recommendations from the menu. I would definitely recommend reading at the Seafood Bistro. The food was great!

This place has great tasting seafood. Paul the co owner was very helpful in helping us decide what to get. The dragon shrimp was delicious and had just the right kick. The battered whitefish and shrimp tasted fresh and was SO good! This is a small place that is definitely overlooked.

It was a ok dining experience. I expected the food to have a bit more flavor, but overall the service was excellent, and prepared time for food was quick! Everything was served hot, just not quite as flavorful as I expected however.

Lives up to the food hype! Splendid Cajun fare...Shrimp were flavorful, ample, juicy and perfectly fried as well as the catfish...must commend the authentic Red Beans and Rice..shout out for the Fried Green Tomatoes & Corn Nuggets... Expect to get screened for covid at the front door and Im happy to say I saw disinfecting going on watch them clean their tables this was a good thing! Can Highly recommend...ambiance was good music...

I ordered the royal red bag and whitefish platter and OMG was so good! I paid online and they brought it out to my car. Glad they are open, my new favorite seafood place

Seafood Bistro never disappoints. I had their gator tacos with a side of spanish rice. The tacos were stuffed/packed with gator with fisher alley and aioli drizzled on top. It was both filling and delicious. Of course the service was great as well, the wait staff was very attentive and polite. Keep up the good work!

This place is absolutely amazing the food is great the atmosphere is cozy and pleasant and the staff feels like family I ordered the Cajun popcorn (crawfishpoboy which was loaded and dressed with the works if youre in the area its definitely worth the stop.

For the amount of food you get, you cannot beat the price. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. This place is simply amazing for the seafood lovers!

The best seafood place in Montgomery. We ate here 3 days in a row for lunch and/or dinner.

My meal of a shrimp po boy, fried okra, and a cup of gumbo were delicious. Portions were more than adequate to handle my appetite, I couldnt finish all of the okra. The service was great, staff was very courteous and attentive. As someone who was in town on business, this place was a lucky find. I would highly recommend, and the only reason I didnt give a 5 star review is because 5 stars means best ever in the world...I am too young and less traveled to make that claim.

The food was excellent! Theres a variety of choices in the menu. I wanted to try everything, I ordered the mahi tacos and the shrimp Po-boy with fries okras to go. I love everything they had for sides and they even have dessert options. The place was nice, you can seat in, relax and eat your heart out or order to go. I definitely recommend making a stop there

they had boiled crawfish there. It was pretty good but not as spicy as I like it. Im from New Orleans so Im a little picky about crawfish. Staff okay. One waitress with that fairly bad attitude but glad she wasnt mine. The others seem to be pretty nice.

The concept is confusing. You are seated and then you have to get up and walk up to the cashier and order. The food and service was average.

Great food and service. Only downside is that the gym next door literally pounds their music so loud that you cant help but hear it. Food is excellent as the location!

The Shrimp Poboy is delicious & so are the lemon pepper hot wings & Cajun new potatoes! Went 2 days in a row! Friendly owners & staff. --They dont skimp in the shrimp❣ Highly recommend!
