Great atmosphere! Cool place, we had a great time 🎉🍾👯♀️
Are you looking for fun and a good service? Then come to the Scotch. The Djs are amazing also the staff are so kind and friendly.I really recommend!!!You wont be disappointed. 😉
Nights in Scotch of St James are always fun, all the staff are very professional and polite and they truly resonate what the club is really about.
Absolutely great place in Mayfair,Fun and friendly people
Its a place that you will missed it! And you can stay longtime…..
Historic venue and classic London vibe. Wonderful cocktails and brilliant history. If you expect to waltz in and grab a beer, think again. If you have to ask the price of entry or a drink, don’t go. The Scotch of St James is an experience to remember.
Beautiful ambiance, great service.
Couldnt ask for a better first date
Paid 3k, wasnt fun... Saw them reject a group of 20 because they didnt want to pay 300 each... Absolute idiotic
Ismael assisted me very well
A bit douchy.
Poor attempt at a London bar, tacky with cheesy doormen
Management and door staff are appalling with absolutely no respect. If you want your night ruined then this is your place to go
Awful music - only techno
Very gooood music
Recently came back to this place after years of having not been. The new management has trampled its historic reputation, and it was sad to see the change in the atmosphere. Amongst this change included very disorganized bouncers giving poor treatment to my group and others, and then theres the one lady who just ran around to hungrily grab credit cards without any tracing of who paid for which table, nothing like what I had remembered. Overpriced and underserved more so than expected, especially disgusted with the service once inside, as they spilled drinks on our laps. The music wasnt anything special and the venue was packed so tight that you could barely move from your table, with a visible change in the crowd. I wouldnt bet on this place if youre looking to show friends or colleagues a good time. Only perk is that its open later than most venues in the area. Save the sinking Scotch.
Horrid entrance. Rude staff. Decadent.
Really cool vibe. Felt like a speakeasy. Small venue so dont expect to really sit down much. Can get really full.
Tim on the doors nice guy. Arranged our table for us. Real nice humble guy. Thanks for a great night, last night 👍
The staff was rude and unprofessional. They quided us to another club which was only for members and therefore caused us lots of unwanted costs.
Well, arrogant bar staff who "demand" you move napkins 3" because they are unable to respond to requests. Incredibly small venue, definitely not worth the entrance fee if youre unfortunate enough to have to pay for the "privilege" to enter. Speak Spanish and youre in for free, even if you then dont buy a drink. Another bullshit london venue.
More of a speak easy than a club but cute.

Great Club, prestigious, dont come here if you are not willing to pay the usual private member club prices for drinks in Mayfair..... £13+ per drink minimum. Helps to know someone on the inside, I for one go with DJs that whose reputation precedes them so not difficult, however, consider this before going. You might be waiting a while and still not get in. Dress appropriately.
Very horrible place as of recently new staff have people waiting outside despite spending very big money in the past and coming here regularly just keep trying to ignore you. blonde door lady is a closet racist after watching her for 40 mins letting in only people of white decent decided to go elsewhere, While managers and security fast track anyone that speaks their language the club use to be a good place that I use to go regularly but never again because of the way they treat people.
The club is horrible. The woman at the door ia very racist... only lets white people in and doesnt let anyone else in. This is a horrible place... if you ever need somewhere to go to.. dont go to this place... you will only be made to wait 40 mins to be treated like a dog if you are not WHITE AND TALL. The people at the door at incompetent and rude... you cant evem touch the velvet rope because you will get told of... just a horrible club plua money is expensive.
A great place for a night out in central London. Good vibe, music and clientele - however, as with other clubs in the area it is pricey to enter, especially for larger groups that must buy tables.
so calm like its actually calm but when you come out you like its calm but anyway calm.
Terrible customer service at the door by Naomi. Too busy trying to force £20 entry charge per person! Bartenders do free pouring instead of using jiggers to measure alcohol shots. Pouring singles and charging you for doubles! This could be a great place for a night out but the people running it are dodgy as F...! 🤢🤮🤑
Great place amazing vibe, value for money. And we enjoyed our time.Would definitely come back again
Absolutely terrible experience. Was made to wait outside for a ridiculous amount of time, they tried to make us pay almost triple the price for a table (probably because we were a predominantly black group), and were then told we could only keep the table if we were on our "best behaviour". Naomi, the woman who works at the door, is extremely racist and disrespectful. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLUB
Really friendly and helpful staff!
I went last night with a group of friends at 5:00 am. Directly at the door the security guy told us the only option we had to get in is to spend for a bottle at the minimum of £300. We agreed and we paid, He took us inside, they came and they charge us £300. After 5 minutes, they brought on the table 4 small bottles of water. And then after an other 20 minutes of wait, the waiter came and put only 5 drinks on our table. I started to wonder and couldn’t understand what was going on! And an other 30 minutes later , they stopt the music and they asked us to leave. The worst experience I have had in London clubs. I do understand than it’s part of the business for clubs to make money but do not understand why they rip off customers???
Worst place. Went last night. We had a VIP table and were spending a lot. Had to queue outside for 30 min only to get a door girl attention- she was more interested and chatty to some weird looking people. Security guys are rude and don’t have logic - just kept telling me to wait and “ someone is coming to look after you”...overrated and full of teenagers place... don’t waste your time or money
The cloakroom lady was lovely and really made me feel comfortable. The bar staff were great and very quick. The door staff were okay many “shh’s” but the cloakroom lady was really helpful and was just kindhearted and caring.Thank you V x
The easiest club to get in to... Door staff are pretty pompous, it was a table or no entry policy, with bottles starting at £300, Im sure the spiel you get from Naomi the door woman is totally scripted... it was quite comical standing outside listening to it all!
I absolutely loved this place! Very classy and chique! But the drinks are pretty expensive (3 old fashioneds for £53). The music was great as well.
Amazing place. Staff is exceptional
Had a brilliant time, very busy and full of vibes. Djs absolutely nailed it, highly recommend.
4th ir 5th time I have been here, the staff always look after me and always busy with a good atmosphere
Amazing secret gem in the heart of London.. One of the few exclusive places left that respects their clients. Great vibe, great music (not commercialand most importantly staff and clients are like family
Be aware of the club charging you for bottles of very expensive champagne that you didnt order.
Those who have criticised are clearly not the right clientele for this place. It has a touch of class and fun, I would recommend for those that have witnessed and received the best elsewhere
Amazing place, great music
Great place and vibe. Normal drinks.
Nice venue, good music!
Friends were overcharged. Canapes were not tasty. Either plain, too fishy and garlicky
Had a works Christmas party here. Staff working on the door and bringing crudités were very good, the bar staff seemed pretty disengaged. Whisky selection was reasonable but Id expected more. Only one beer (unremarkable lateron offer and they were only doing overly sugary cocktails (might have just been part of the package we had).
Good vibes but be aware of extortionate prices for some shots. The quality of the mixers was pretty bad too.
Free drinks before 7! Love it
