The Rustik Fork - Restaurant in Riverside, United States
This place is AMAZING! Fron the food to the service to the ambiance, my friends and I loved it all! But the food was absolutely the best! Will definitely keep coming back!
I’ve been coming here for years, for weekly groceries and all my holiday meals/family events. The staff are great, super accommodating and the quality/price are unbeatable.
Outstanding farm to table local unique cuisine that also does meal prep. Interesting and delicious and unique flavor combinations. The staff offers an exquisite five star restaurant service with a casual and lively environment. Theres certainly nothing like this in the area and its a feel good, fine dining, and healthy take(vegan friendlyon one of a kind top notch quality ingredients. They also have plenty of speciality beers, wines, and one of a kind cocktails. A new, innovative, and quality experience that will enliven your pallet and spark adventure for trying new tastes.
Food was excellent, service was as well! Prices were unexpectedly higher than anticipated with furnishings being on the almost uncomfortable side. Expected nice furnishings to go with high prices but felt more like a fast food restaurant with excellent service and food...
I was in Riverside for one night and wanted to try something different that I couldn’t get in Phoenix. I ordered the Rustik Burger Salad Bowl and added avocado and bacon. That was truly amazing! So tasty, fresh and flavorful. I will be back.
Small, local restaurant. Attentive wait staff. The Cajun shrimp pasta was very good as was the beet salad. The tomato/pear appetizer was excellent. Make reservations.
Pricey but delicious food.
My family and I got to stop by for the Sunday brunch. Even with very young children, we felt welcomed. They loved the food, and we all walked away fully satisfied. We were so thankful for the staff’s generosity and hospitality made it a great first experience! Even with a few hiccups in service, we were convinced this spot is well worth visiting again!I highly recommend the stuffed French toast, especially if you can have it with the peaches!
Delicious healthy alternatives and a great atmosphere. Our waitress was attentive and well informed of the company history and values. Highly recommend the refresher drink, Wagyu and cheese cake. We will be coming back.
Food was good but definitely better options at the price point offered, they also charge a 20% service charge for parties of 6 or more. We had 5 adults and a kid who didn’t order anything but they still felt it was right to charge the service fee? Seems like a big attempt of a money grab to me.
Best farm to table cuisine in the City of Riverside, hands down! Kudos to the owner for providing the community with favorable, healthy food choices!!Shanae
It was a good experience. It was our first time at this restaurant and we went to celebrate Fathers day. We order the Stuffed Dates and the Village Bakery Bread as starters and it was delicious. They have a reasonable number of choices that can satisfy from the carnivores to the Vegans. I really liked my main dish which was the Seet & Spicy Orange Cauliflower. It was amazing. Loved it. It is in general a little pricey place so I would say, at least for us, this is not a regular restaurant to go to, but definitely for special occasions. My entree was $18.00 which was very good price compared to other items in the menu that range from $26.00 to $150.00 for the entrees.
Love this place! I had one of best burgers I have ever had... And it was vegan! The house made ketchup is delicious. The fries were amazing. The soja blackberry lemonade was refreshing. The Rustik Fork is a hidden gem.
This place located in a very subtle place that few may spot off the road. Now the prices may be high but their quality of food is superb and everything taste fresh and done to perfection. I was surprise on the serving size they are full filling and can be shared with 2 people, unless ur feeling hungry hungry. I ordered a blend drink, half lemonade half tea, and when I say this has to be the best Arnold Palmer I have ever had. Really it was the best Arnold Palmer ever. The staff was really friendly and helpful when ordering and very attentive when serving or refill drinks. Overall great place and great atmosphere.
Wonderful experience at Rustik! The food was delicious. Really enjoyed the short rib, scallops and Brussels sprouts.Would’ve gotten a 5-star rating if the hostess didn’t have her head in the clouds.Took her 15 minutes after our reservation time to seat us with open tables in the restaurant
The food was above par for this area, best Ive had in Moreno Valley. My server was great and I enjoyed my meal. The only negative I had was when I asked for a table for one the hostess informed me that there was a two hour maximum time per table. I wasnt sure if she thought I was a slow eater or the service was so bad that I should ask for a to go bag when I ordered.
Oh my, one of the best restaurants weve been to in a very long time. this was our 1st time and the menu is amazing.the food preparation is top notch and the quality of the ingredients and food are 2nd to none. All local and organic. we cannot believe we had not eat here before. wayworth it a little bit pricey but way worth the price. A hidden gem in Riverside and a must go. Amazing vegetarian dishes as well. No liquor cocktails but wine beer and soju based cocktails Very nice decoration inside very well done
Delicious foodie fare, made fresh! Great service always🙂
Great food. Definitely a good date night spot. The food is very good and fresh. The staff was very friendly and wait staff was quick and attentive.
Absolutely delicious and exquisitely made food! You can taste the time, effort, and quality of the ingredients in every bite and sip you take. The servers create such a calming/ relaxed but professional vibe; this is definitely the place to share a beautiful and intimate moment with a special someone.Overall, this place exceeds my expectations and is a hidden gem in Riverside!
This was a phenomenal Sunday brunch outing. Food was delicious, locally sourced, and cooked to specification. This was the first weekend they reopened as indoor eating mandates were getting lifted. The kitchen was still working through its timings. This is definitely a spot worth visiting as it is a hidden gem in Riverside. Find them on Instagram, connect, make a reservation for weekend breakfast or evening dinner: they will always elevate every meal experience!
Food took a long while to come out, but worth the wait. I had the egg breakfast with sausage and potatoes .. so good! Along with a shared plate of waffles. So good, all good was fresh. Will definitely go again and bring others!
The food was ok. Very disappointed that I called ahead for reservations and let them know that it was my husbands birthday and if they did anything special. I was told yes a dessert with a candle. We ordered dessert and still nothing I even got up and mentioned it to the hostess and she said she would let my server know. Next thing you know I had finished my dessert and the server brought me the bill. Im truly disappointed. Having just moved to CA we have yet to find a decent place to eat, especially with the prices they are charging. It will be sometime before we return. Oh yes and the kicker is we saw a rodent running across the floor. The server caught it and took it outside. Then had the nerve to say it was a bat. Never seen a bat run across a floor in my life!!!Disgusting!!!
Each time I have been here, I have enjoyed the food. The price point I feel is a little to steep for what you get. However, good ingredients and freshly cooked. Not just prepared as many restaurants are. So I keep going back. Staff is friendly and good at what they do.
We left The Rustic Fork planning when we could come back, before we were out the door. It was our first time but definitely will not be our last. Our server, Chris, was politely on point throughout our whole experience and guided us with ideas & conversation. The plating was as delightful as the food was attractive. The flavors only heightened the total experience of being there. I should not forget just standing in the restuarant itself sets the tone before you even sit down. Do yourself a favor and take yourself with or without someone special. It will make your day!
The bacon wrapped figs stuffed with goat cheese almost made me cry (in the best way possible). I have never tested anything like them … ever. That’s after eating in 25 States and 10 countries. The figs were recommended by our server and they were mouth watering. My son laughed at me because I couldn’t stop smiling and commenting on them. I can’t even find the words to describe how delicious they were. It was followed by an amazing surf and turf combo with a lobster tail that tasted like the butter was infused into it - talk about delicious. I can count on 2 hands the number of times I couldn’t make it to dessert and this is one of them. I’ll need to start there next time. The service was also excellent and there was a decent crowd to handle. I wound up here by accident on a road trip from Joshua Tree National Park back to home in Huntington Beach this week. Thank god I stopped to experience this place. Wherever you live, find the time to come here and eat. It’s worth the trip. I will most definitely be back.
Awesome dining experience. Our steak and ribs were really tasty and the house fries are some of the best weve ever had.
Ive been wanting to eat at The Rustic Fork for a long time now and last night I finally had the opportunity to. All I can say is that it was worth the wait.I had the Drunken Goat Burger with a 1/2 lb grass-fed beef patty with goat cheese, arugala, wine-infused onions, garlic aioli and tomato relish on potato bun with seasoned fries as an appetizer. This burger was insane. The meat was juicy, and packed with flavor. You could really taste the quality in the meat, and the patty was huge. It was even bigger than the bun it was served on. Awesome burger, and the fries were good too. They kinda reminded me of Wingstop fries, and thats a good thing because I love Wingstop seasoned fries. For my entrée I had the Chilean Sea Bass in a berbere seasoning over organic rice with seasonal veggies, topped with a beurre blanc sauce & crispy onions. Our server, Driss, recommend this dish to me saying it is the best sea bass hes had out of the three restaurants he works at and I would not be disappointed. Well, he was absolutely right. I think this might have been the best sea bass Ive ever had, and that is saying a lot coming from me. It was perfection on a plate. From the flavorful crust, to the glistening, moist inside, this fish made my heart sing.Wish I could say the same for the Ribeye Wagyu Steak. To me, it was incredibly bland and couldnt hold a candle to the sea bass OR burger for that matter. Extremely disappointing. However, when Driss asked how our meals were going, he graciously accepted my feedback and insisted I should not have to pay for something I didnt enjoy and worked with the manager & owner to cover half the cost of the meal. This was greatly appreciated. Throughout the night Driss delivered exceptional service and made our dining experience memorable. I look forward to coming back to try more menu items and being greeted by Driss and the rest of the staff here.

Amazing. Hands down. I had the Cajun Shrimp Pasta and it was PHENOMENAL. Perfectly cooked, juicy shrimp, perfectly cooked pasta, and an explosion of flavors. I can’t remember the name of the steak but it came on a bed of mashed potatoes, with asparagus and squash. Perfection!Come come come!
ParkingEasy to park as it shares a common lot with a gas station and other businessesReservationsHighly recommended to make reservations beforehand!FoodRoasted Beet Salad and the Drake Family Farm goat cheese and dates were amazing!Baja bowl was amazing and surprised it tasted that good without any protein added to itCustomer ServiceHost, bartender and entire staff was friendly and hospitableDefinitely recommend this hidden gem in Riverside! Will be back to try more!
Delicious farm to table food. Perfect service.Addictive cocktails. Cauliflower steak was life changing
The food was great the ambiance very nice. The waitress was very attentive and other staff as well. The Cocktails I was not very satisfied with. The garnish they add to the drink makes it look beautiful.
We ordered pick up. Nashville hot, gluten free bun was just amazing!!! Can not wait to visit again!UPDATE- 6/11/2021Service is still amazing here and the food ❤️ 🙌 Thank you guys for always making the best organic and gluten free food!
The food and service here was top notch. I had the best experience here for my first time dining. Steak was flavourful and so tender. Talk about amazing Brussel sprouts and mash potatoes. The strawberry lemonade was just wow 👏 definitely going back.
We had a reservation and were seated promptly upon entering. It started off a little rough as far as our experience but it was definitely addressed by management. We waited close to 45 minutes for our appetizer and we were getting HANGRY! Our concerns were noted and they gave us a free desert on the house which was nooice. It helped to soften the late arrival of our food. They were apparently down staff / call offs etc. So about 50issh minutes later we received our main entrees. I can say the food was delicious , so this made up for our issues . Its nice that this is in our area. We had the wagyu steak , cajun shrimp pasta and the bread appetizer . Just keep in mind that they dont serve hard liquor here. The cocktails had soju as the alcohol base but they have craft beer, wine and champagne.
We tried the Rustik Fork due to its many plant based options. It did not disappoint. They have one of the best strawberry mojitos I have had. I was able to try the bakery bread, sweet potato fries, roasted brussel sprouts, and the Baja bowl with jackfruit. My favorite was the roasted brussel sprouts. They were crispy, and sweet at the same time with a delicious cheese and a balsalmic reduction. My husband is a meat eater and had the Ragu beef with mashed potatoes and roasted veggies. We will definitely be back again.
Braised short ribs and creamy cheesy grits in the picture. Everything was amazing fresh. Organic made such a huge difference. I have never loved charred carrots so much!
What an AMAZING hidden gem we have here in Riverside!! Wow... The food was absolutely fantastic. You could literally taste the freshness. The atmosphere was exactly what youd hope for. Our server Freddy was knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. We even had the opportunity to compliment the owners and they were so friendly and kind. Our 6 yr old said the food was so good the president needs to talk about it hahaha. We cant wait to go back and support.
Amazing food and service. We are visiting from out of town and Im sorry we dont live closer. Brussel sprouts were fantastic - mus try them.
- I had the burger that was made of 100% beef patty with organic cheddar, seasonal greens, pickles, tomato, grilled onions, maqui ketchup, avocados on house made potato buns with house fries. 🍔-Cobb salad with organic seasonal greens, eggs, bacon, tomato, corn and avocado. Organic hempseed ranch dressing.🥗-Grilled cheese made with organic cheddar, ancient grain and house fries.🍟🍟We loved it
Got the Steak and Frites, absolutely life-changing. The flavors all complemented each other so well, the chimichurri was perfect, and dont even get me started on the steak itself. Perfectly rare, so much depth, so much substance. Huge huge props to everyone here, seriously rad establishment. Talked to the owner and the chef briefly, super cool people.
My expectations were exceeded beyond belief. As soon as you walk in you are made to feel like old friends. The food just melted in my mouth, the flavors were just wow!! The staff was so attentive, never wanted for anything. Definitely my new go to spot.
Ive decided past this place several times and have been meaning to try this place for a while. We decided to go on a Saturday night. The wait wasnt half as long as what they told us when we walked in. The service was great. The staff was very attentive. We came in to try their burgers and we ended up also having the goat cheese cheesecake. Which was AMAZING! I havent tried anything there that I wouldnt recommend. Everything is Fresh and Local.
Wanted to really like this place but it didnt meet my expectations at all after looking at reviews.Came in with 3 others and seated right away, place wasnt busy. Ordered drinks and after looking over the menu we all ordered. I ordered the Blistered Peppers as a starter which were fine. I also ordered the Rustik burger with egg and bacon (each had their own extra charge). Food was brought out and upon inspecting my burger there was no bacon (picturedupon notifying our waiter he looked at it and said I can see the bacon which prompted me to lift the entire egg and patty up and say where? To which he replied "oh, well I assumed it was there do you still want bacon" I replied yes and after a minute he brought out a plate with what looked like 1 slice of bacon chopped up. 👎🏾Food flavour profile was very low according to the whole table everyone stated what they ordered was just alright. Paired with the high price of food it was a total let down. In the end we all left feeling like we wasted our money.I cant recommend this place to anyone based off my experience.
Natalie and Tom run a unique, fun, tasty, healthy place. They went out of their way to make sure we had an amazing time. We both had the Quinoa bowl version of two of their popular burgers. All the stuff in bowl form rather than on a bun. Delicious, nutritious, and very filling. Also had a great Chardonnay and a glass of the "They Call Me Roberto" jalapeno beer from The Mason Jar in Menifee, a local brewery with some amazing beers
The food here is great. We were here for Sunday Brunch. The owners have a great story about the restaurant. He had the avocado toast, a juice flight, brunch burger, tamale bowl and french toast. Every was so delicious, I was only able to get a couple of photos.
**FIRST TIME REVIEW for Rustik*** Let me start by saying Google referred this place and I must thank them for this. At first glance from outside it seems like a small venue. Once you enter you are greeted by an upbeat and friendly environment. My family of 5 went at what seemed to be a peak eating period at around 5-6 pm. Our wait time to be seated was about 5- 10 minutes. Once seated though it was another 15 minutes to have just our drink order taken. Mind you with kids it is key to try and expedite service to at least the kids to " calm the wilds", but like i said it was a busy period. I tried their custom crafted blonde beer to start. It was light but lacked a flavor on the back of my pallet. It was kind of bland. That was about all the negative feedback I can give for once the food came out...MAN! Their food was amazing. We had their loaded fries, just bursting with flavors that tease your tastebuds for the ride ahead. I got the smoked chipotle burger medium. Cooked to perfection. The grass fed beef was so tender and delicious. My wife had the chicken sandwich. She loved it as well. If your looking for a hip, new place to have a great meal. Definately try this place out.
Yummy new find! We had a couple of starters and a couple of drinks; the Kombucha mimosa was interesting in a good way. The Copper Pot Margarita was a spicy treat, and it had no tequila! The standout was the loaded fries, a daily special. Ours had smokey, spicy flavors, with rib meat and a cherry chipotle glaze/sauce and pickled onions. Will be back to try more of their unusual and tasty creations. Location is a smidge out of the way, and the space felt overly warm, otherwise great! Beers and wines, are the only drinks. My dessert, goat cheese cheesecake (which I took homeis pictured. Light, creamy, not overly sweet. Thumbs up!
My family and I visited The Rustik Fork today for a nice lunch. This place is absolutely amazing! Its Paleo, Vegan, and Non GMO for those interested, as well as certified organic. They have cold pressed coffee, fresh made sodas, and craft beers on tap as well.I tried the Smothered Steak Sandwich while family members tried the Rustik Mac (& Cheeseand the Pesto Chicken Sandwich. I also ordered the loaded fries as a starter, which contained seasoned fries sprinkled with fresh feta cheese (I thinkand smoked bacon bits.To round out the meal, I ordered the bread pudding, which isnt like any bread pudding youve tried before, and thats a good thing! Absolutely fantastic! The meals for top notch and filling. This place is laid back and the vibe is super chill. Take your friends and family, or take a date. You cant go wrong with The Rustik Fork! I recommend the Cherry Cream soda. Low on sugar but great on taste! Hell, I recommend everything Ive mentioned here in my review.
