Excellent place! I had a great time and loved the food.Service is good. I had a cappuccino and the shrimp burger... delicious!!!

So tasty! Did brunch here today. Made a reservation in advance. Everything went smooth. The heat lamps were amazing because today it was so cold out. The food was all cooked perfect. The lobster roll could have been a little bigger and less bread but overall it was delicious. The steak and eggs were amazing too. The potatoes were so good! Fries were good too but they come with cinnamon on them which I wasn’t the biggest fan of. But that’s more preference. 5/5 for good service. Love this spot

Great atmosphere and ambiance. When you walk in its like a other world youve enter. Light and airy, the rooms are open for natural light peer thru.The food is really good and this is an excellent choice for breakfast or brunch.They have eggs and fried chicken sandwiches and great salads. They also serve a stone fruit salad that is delicious. Coffee is good too.The only downside is the tons of homeless that occupy the surrounding areas.They wont bother you if you keep to yourself but sometimes it gets suspect.

Ambiance is great. The food and staff are amazing. The only reason I left a star off is the homeless all around are tough to ignore.Th patio is airy and bright and the food here is delicious. The fried chicken sandwich is ,y favorite.

Came here for a wonderful early dinner with my family. I had their grain bowl with chicken which was wonderful and perfectly filling. We then shared some of the biscuits and they were incredible as well. The iced tea was quite yummy too. Would definitely recommend 😊

Great location, interior is really well put together. Good selection of hot and cold drinks at the cafe. Weve seen this place packed on the weekends and evenings so we will have to come back and feel out the vibe again. I would recommend checking them out for sure.

Great location and atmosphere. The carbonaras flavor was really good but the consistency wasnt as smooth as I liked it to be. The horchata was nice and creamy. The "fear and loathing" pizza had a decent amount of mushrooms but it was a bit chewy. Overall, a great first experience though!

Very nice. Great pastries in a lovely setting - decor is cute, airy & spacious. Friendly & fast service. Coffee is a bit pricey but Ill still be back.

Great brunch menu. The seating is really open so no matter where youre at you have a good view of the entire place. No point in sitting outside because the inside is like outside with better vibes.Staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The drinks were amazing!!

Lovely server. The hostess was helpful. But...the place takes itself way too seriously as a "chef forward restaurant", their words, not mine. Flower Power pizza was awful. The dinner salad with peaches was literally a plate of sliced peaches for $24 or $28, I dont exactly remember. Food was not good, prices were outrageous.

A great brunch spot in the heart of Venice. Some items can be pricey (i.e lobster rollbut the execution matches the price point. The atmosphere is bustling and the open kitchen lets you people watch while your food is prepared. Their baked goods are their stand outs as well as any of their breads.

The menu is always exciting here. Unexpected flavor combinations and seasonal dishes make every visit unique. Always opt for at least one pasta dish. The service is also great and there is ample well-spaced seating. Street parking can be kind of challenging. There is valet service for $15

5 people, Sunday brunch - we all agreed that the overall experience we had was not good. The outdoor tables are gross—sticky and dirty, see photo. We felt rushed. The music was invasive and stressful.And the ‘no changes to the menu’ rule becomes problematic when one cannot ask for ‘no cheese’ on a dish.

This is my favorite goto restaurant for breakfast when i am in the venice area, nice cosy atmosphere, always friendly serviceminded staff, prices are a bit high but the food is very nice and tasty.You can sit in- or outside.I visited several times, had the breakfast burrito and the golds standard both highly recommended.

Rode bikes from Santa Monica to Rose Cafe as per recommendation. Venue is beautiful, breezy, and relaxed. Could easily spend hours here. Food and drinks were amazing and fresh. We had fish tacos, tuna bowl, and Korean chicken sandwich. All were delicious and would recommend. Left us feeling full but still light. Ruby Rose and Sea Cucumber drinks were really good. Service from Iris was outstanding as well. Will try to come back again before heading home!

Lovely establishment! Trendy, accessible restaurant in the heart of Venice. Menu was a hodgepodge of unique, tasty, and colorful foods. Plenty to share. Craft cocktails were innovative and well-made. Ambience was friendly and lively. Loved our server Michael. Cheers!

I have not been to Rose Cafe for a few years since I moved from Santa Monica. I remembered this Cafe from their great atmosphere and delicious food. I made plans with a friend to go there for dinner last week. The service was good that is why I gave it 2 stars. The food was horrible! The pasta was so dry that I couldnt grab it with my fork and the fish lower than average! We had 2 main dish, one sweet potato, and some sort of a vegetable dish that I dont remember the name. It came up to close to $150. I was quite shocked! We didnt even drink any alcohol. I am more than happy to pay for good food but this was awful!All and all, I dont know what happened to this place! I will never go back there again. Too bad

The foods taste is phenomenal and definitely the presentation is eye catching.The service on the other hand could have been better but I understand that there were only two people working in the front.I went on a Wednesday at 8am which is possibly not the ideal time to go to receive the best service.I arrived with a party of three 5 minutes before opening and we waited outside. At 8 am they started playing the music and we kept waiting. It probably was our fault to assume someone would open the door or ask if we wanted to come in since we were waiting by the door. Instead at 8:03 we went in and asked if we they we open and were greeted with a menu to order at the counter. We placed our our order and we sat down. Our food came out fairly quickly. Just as stated before, the food was ultimately amazing, flavorful and portions were a good size. Halfway through our meal we had finished our coffee drinks and we had to stand up to ask at the counter for some water. By this time it was 8:40 and a waiter came over with some water. Overall I enjoyed this place and I want to come back and try the food again for either brunch or dinner, and hopefully the service is on the same level of the food quality. For this time I would still give 4.5 stars 🌟 (rounded up ill leave it at 5).

Quick service, great atmosphere and out of this world delicious meal!! Jaime was our server and he was very attentive. We ordered more food to go to eat for dinner. The tuna tar tar bowl was my favorite!

Great vibe, awesome location! But that’s pretty much it. The waiter was very unprofessional and rude. When we were there, he reached out to us multiple times to try to get us moving while it has not even been two hours after we sat down! The brunch menu could really use some more care and love. The selection and quality of food is slightly underwhelming…. But hey! I guess you are paying your buck for the vibe and the location. Whether it is really worthy or not I guess it’s up to the individual. But to us, it was not worth it.

Very flat wire mesh chairs here. To get comfortable I suggest a lazy man’s slouch or perhaps even a classic double legged backwards lean. Couldn’t get away with that at school but we can now so own it. Cutlery was on a whole different level though, nice rounded square shape for the perfect grip and with enough weight to really help you chop through anything.Plenty of good food options as well.

Apparently, $30 for a relatively small salad still isnt enough to pay to eliminate unwanted chickpeas. Instead, after refusing to remove them when ordering, the server brought me another plate so I could do it myself. Oh, and then theres the mandatory 5% fee added to prices...

Nice location, @ 3 blocks from Venice beach. Place was packed on a Sunday. Made reservations. Seated prompty when party arrived. $20 valet parking. Cocktails tastey. Food pretty good, moderate servings.

Wow wow wow! Go there if you get the chance! The staff is amazing! The food was great and don’t miss out on their chocolate cake! Can highly recommend this place!

We made a reservation and still had to wait for 20 mins to get seated. Other than that the food and the service was great. We got the breakfast items (pastrami and turkey sausageas a well as their matcha croissant (highly recommend).

Loved this place, I had a very lovely dinner. The food was on point, although I didnt like much the pate, the other dishes were delicious. I had croquettes, Hamachi crudo, gnocchi (my favorite), and also the steak was very tender juicy pair with a creamy tasty Yukon mashpotatoes.

Had an unbelievable night here. Second time here and beyond satisfied. What makes it special is they update they’re menu seasonally, so if you don’t come here too often each experience is unique. The ambiance is amazing and there’s a ton of people there (we were told 600 people at dinner tonight). Outdoor decoration was super romantic and artsy. Our server David was also amazing! Our drinks took a bit to arrive along with one of our dishes, so without asking they brought us each a glass of bubbly and a delicious plate of food! The cinnamon roll is sooo good! The salmon bagel tastes good too but they are all a bit pricey. The iced latte is 6 dollars and the cinnamon roll including tax is 5.75(There is even a “healthy tax”)Restaurant is well decorated and servers are friendly:both outdoor and indoor dining area look comfortable.I’ll recommend the pantry in the restaurant!

Great food! Large restaurant. They have a bank and front patio. The menu had some variety of options that felt standard. Even though it was busy, we didnt have to wait too long to get a table or for our food to arrive due to great service.

A nice place with a great vibe and good food. Our server was awesome too. A little on the expensive side and the food is just good. I can’t say I was amazed. In addition we were seated next to a very loud group which made the experience not great.

Food was aesthetic, tasty, and pretty healthy. But the portions were kinda small and the prices quite high. Definitely a place to only occasionally go to.The interior was nicely decorated, and there is a bakery that I unfortunately did not have the chance to try. There is both indoor and outdoor seating.

Good food, attentive staffing. A really annoying policy they were pushing was we were required to order all our dishes at one time. We got attitude and an eye roll from the server when we ordered 5 dishes for 5 people when he suggested 10. He obviously tried to pressure us to get more food to increase the bill, but we had no idea how big the dishes were going to be, how full we were going to be. There’s a note on the table limiting your time to 90 min, the starter dishes came out very quickly (within 10 min), they also have a seemingly ridiculous rule of only 1 pizza per table. We had more than enough time to enjoy our food and order more if we were allowed to. This may be due to staffing or such, we’ve been here before and it wasn’t like this, but as patrons willing to give you money, please don’t try to restrict how and when we can do it. The food was delicious and inventive , ancillary staffing was attentive but being strong armed, with attitude from the waiter, will make us gladly take our business elsewhere.TLDR: your policies are dumb, we were willing to give you more money for good food but you didn’t let us.

This is a pretty big restaurant in the venice area. They have a huge kitchen and prepare a lot of different foods. They even bake their own breads. The 1 star is not about the food. The food is pretty good. Like I said ,they have a big selection. From steaks, pizzas, pastas and sea foods. The pizza is freshly made, with interesting topping options. The pasta is pretty good. Fresh made pasta, cooked al dente and the sauce is creamy, cheese and flavorful. The 1 star is basically for the waiter and maybe management. Not sure, we didnt bother to ask, mainly because we just wanted to be done with the place. So, the waiter gave us instructions on how to order. We had to place our order for our entire meal options once, in the beginning when he took our orders. Every thing is made family style, for sharing. So basically, he would take our order down just once and then we would never see him again. He stated that we should order 2 dishes per person. So if I wanted to order a 3 course meal I would have to make all my decision in the beginning. It was a pretty weird way to order food at a sit down restaurant. We didnt have an option to order or try anything else during our dinning experience. What if we wanted to try another dish midway through our meal. We couldnt even order a dessert after our meal if we wanted to. In our opinion, its a pretty weird way to order a meal at a sit down restaurant. Its also a weird way to run a restaurant mainly because your leaving money on the table by forcing your guest to decide their whole meal at once. I dont recommend this place for this reason. If they change thier management style or if this was just how the waiter was and they get ride of him, we might give it another chance.

Whether for brunch or for dinner, the rose is always a good choice! The food is delicious ♥️ they definitely have the best biscuits (and jamand their pastas were out of this world. I usually am very cautious with restaurants that offer too much (of everythingon their menu but the rose pulls it off!

Surprised by the lack of flexibility to swap out bread for the gluten free option. Had to pay a lot extra for it as they do not allow any changes to their dishes. That said, the meal was delicious and I did not get sick. Just disappointed by the price and lack of flexibility. The garden ambiance was really nice for our special occasion.

Insanely good brunch! Came here with a group of friends. We split some of their biscuits and cookies and all got brunch. Each dish was soooo unique and delicious. Really cute backyard space too, dog friendly. Thank you!

Love this place!The food was fantastic.The staff was friendly and informative.And the bathroom setup is badass! (see pictures).It was very busy when we went (3 of usand there was a line outside. We had a reservation though and were seated promptly.Highly recommend!

Chill chic, unpretentious gem. Politely warm, informative staffs. Extensive California Bistro menu. Too bad prettiest outdoor space at the very back was not open for dining during our Tuesday lunch visit.

Drinks are yummy and strong. Everything we ordered eat better than expected! Honestly my new favorite restaurant, need tu come beach and try the rest of the menu! Staff were amazing as well, over all a very lovely experience :)

This is a really cute spot! They have *tons* of outdoor seating and their patios are beautiful with plants and are covered. They don’t have gender neutral bathrooms. The food was really good; everything tasted fresh. The biscuits were quite large and delicious! The huevos rancheros were smaller than I thought but together with the biscuits were quite filling. I had the toasted coconut latte with oat milk and it was 💯. Highly recommend this place.

The service was impeccable, the food incredibly tasty, and the cocktail/wine list will impress even the most finicky.Loved the shrimp ceviche, scallop crudo and the mezze platter were all incredible! We found meter parking around the corner but you can also valet. This restaurant is very sweet and unique. There is a bakery inside with lots of delicious and fun pastries to choose from. There was clean and pleasant indoor and outdoor seating available. The service was a bit slow but kind and helpful. The prices were a bit high. Everything that we ordered, including drinks, was absolutely delicious. A super cute and enjoyable place to visit with friends.
