10 times out of 10, they will completely ignore the phone when you try to call them with any questions. they also charge a fee to get in when the drinks are already overpriced.

This place offers a really cool environment. It is a great place to have a drink and look over the city. The view is amazing looking down over the TTU stadium!

Less than 1 star…. When the employees outnumber the customers? Have employees sitting at the bar basically “catfishing”?!?! I mean, if that doesn’t scream, “struggling business” idk what does.

Great place to chill and have a nice view of the city, drinks are fire too.

The owner wants a 5.00 cover after a texas tech game which is ridiculous when my bar tab is always 300.00 plus after buying for family and friends. Customer service is terrible and I will not return.

Very fun for college students, went on a Saturday night and was packed to the T. The music though mostly appeals to a particular kind of demographic.

Fix your parking ticket booth. No wonder this place makes no money.

The most beautiful view inside the city limits of Lubbock Texas. I was there on a clear 81° night. The downside is the drinks are expensive and the crowd is immature and annoying. Especially if youre not drinking alcohol!

Its been a while since Ive been here but it was nice. It could use another restroom though.

This spot is TOO LEGIT!! Honestly the best place to watch the Tech game and get slamming drink specials. The staff is always friendly and the good music is never-ending. Nice mix of clientele and the themed parties make the Roof my favorite bar in Lubbock.

Ive never not had a great night here! Multiple (4 if I recall rightbars/alcohol vendors. So youll never go thirsty. No wait, not even to get in. And the view! If I can drink and look out on the city skyline. Ok happy

This is a really cool place they opened while I was in school here. They have a cool view of the stadium, decent drinks, cheap prices, and fun atmosphere.

I personally dislike the atmosphere. Nice view at night. Music is a little loud. Crowd is diverse but leans heavily towards undergraduates. As a young professional, older professional, or older graduate student, you may feel out of place.

The staff didn’t support the specials that were advertised. On top if that, we were turned away before the establishment closed. I would have to say the management is not steady here and you should not expect things to happen on a summer Thursday night.

People literally wait in like for hours and only to let other people cut the line because they know the owner or they have some special privileges or a piece of the cake....They take advantage because there’s not much to do in town to begin with. I mean it ain’t a vegas joint

If you are looking for unique, this is a good place to go. You can see into the Tech football stadium which is really cool. I had an enjoyable evening.

If you can tolerate the meat market created by their regular clientele, the Roof has the greatest view of Lubbock, across from Jones AT&T football stadium at Texas Tech. Best way to get here is to drive all the way to the top of the parking garage. For the best experience, dont take the elevators. God only knows what happens in there!

The location is amazing, best Lubbock will ever have to offer. However the alcohol was pretty watered down and the bouncers at the end of the night were pretty rude and annoying with their stupid little flashlights.

The veiw is beautiful! Its in a great location, and the drinks a good. I would recommend it for special events because its beautiful and has a lot of room. If youve never been here, you are definitely missing out.

it was our first time going we ccame all the way from clovis nm thats 2 jours away just to try it out seemed pretty cool nice place but horrible service!! i ask this one lady that made me a drink what was the name of it and she said i dont rember im real busy and looked away she was very rude!! restrooms need more work on the doors dont have locksand they need to be faster at the bar too slow need to update on ther music too!

The roof is in a good location and has a nice view however the atmosphere is ruened by the bouncers & and bad service. The drinks are a rip off and the bouncers walk around, try to talk to girls and will kick someone out if they don’t like them.

Been inside only a couple times, they are strict about minors, and usually have a bouncer posted at the stairs and or at the door. The parking garage below is a great place to longboars in lubbock, and unless it is 7pm or 2am on Friday or Saturday the place is very laid back with a great view of lubbock.

Great view, but if you throw up IN THE TOILET, the bouncers literally kick you out. Like seriously, they dont think we can take care of ourselves? Treat us like adults, PLEASE.

Expensive cover. Long lines every weekend. Long bar waits. Awesome music and atmosphere though. One of the most fun times in Lubbock.

The views are stellar, the bartenders are fun, though the crowd can sometimes leave a lot to be desired. Its worthwhile to bring a jacket to maximize your experience.

They have the clock at the gate running 8+ minutes fast and refused to honor the actual time. The guy working the entrance was rude and incredibly unhelpful. It felt very shady. The drinks are incredibly overpriced unless you go while there are specials happening. However, the views are great and there are lots of tables.

This is probably my favorite bar in lubbock however once summer ends they charge way too much to get in.

We went one a Friday night. It was real empty and relaxing till about midnight. Then everything started bouncin pretty good. I seen a lot of people in these reviews had trouble with the staff. We didnt. Maybe we caught them on a good day

I used to enjoy going to the roof for all occasions. For the past couple months the service has gotten worse and worse. The most recent incident happened when a bouncer kicked over my drinks and I asked why he did that, his response was, "because I can." I told him thats not right because I had just bought them. Then he proceeded to put me in a chokehold and drug me out the door even after I offered to leave peacefully. Needless to say, I will not be back and would recommend not going here unless youre ready to be assaulted at any given moment.

This is the bar for 21-30 year olds to habe a wonderful time with a great view.

Good spot, good atmosphere but the dj sucked!!! Did not know how to transition or fade songs. Slowed down EDM songs to slow bpms. Get a better dj!

Bought two drinks and closed my tab. They took it upon themselves to change my tip from $5 to $1005.00. Dont go here unless you want your credit card info stolen!!!!!!

It is one of the best views you can find in Lubbock. I strongly recommend you to visit it at night, such a great sight. Since it is right by the Jones Stadium, the view becomes even more appealing. :)

Nothing like it was when they first opened, but thats for the better. Little pricey but still pretty sweet place to get drunk

The bar tenders tried to over charge like we were too drunk too notice. Then the bouncers at the end of the night. Were flashing everyone with the flash lights even tho it was way before two. I work as a bouncer and it was un professional the way they were towards the customers!

It a good bar but I gotta say their bartender is stealing money from the customers. They gave themselves tips like more than $15 without customers knowing it. Sorry but I gotta say that just for yall to know.. cheers!

The Roof is by far the best bar in the Lubbock area...there is not one place out here like it. There is NOT ONE unattractive staff member that works there. They have great drink specials and every time I have a good time. I highly recommend The Roof to anyone in Lubbock that does not know about it or comes from out of town.
