Excellent place for a good breakfast and a wonderful cup of coffee and beautiful apple pie and lovely staff

I have to say the service was terrible the server was extremely poor and even the owner I found was just as bad really not what I would expect for what your paying I found the food very basic I had a full Irish it was if the ingredients were bought off a supermarket shelf but the really cheap branded ones.I would say I will never visit this location again I feel you would be as well off going to a hotel as the prices wouldnt be far off and in my experience you would get the service.Such a shame 😞

Good for easy breakfast and lunch options

I got the Royal eggs and we ordered coffee as well, The Royal ex was very nice and delicious the coffee was oaky.And the service is very good specially it was busy the staff are very nice and helpful, I wish the menu was more than that for the breakfast. And if the table was more clean .

First port of call every time I come to Tralee

Had a fantastic lunch here. Made decision to come here on Google review score. Food was so tasty with great service too. Finding it hard to get great food at reasonable prices this time in Kerry but this place was the exception. Thanks.

We ordered food from the Roasthouse for my mothers 60th.There was a lot of back and forth between myself and Linda (from the Roasthouse who dealt with me throughout). Some of it was very fussy from our end but Linda dealt with it all with grace and patience. We got the order correct in the end... and Linda was so helpful with things like cutlery, napkins, and a Burco boiler.The food itself was outstanding. We fed 50 people and I think everyone was delighted. Lovely beef strog, lovely chicken supremes, very nice veg curry and then the potato and rice sides were popular too. The delivery and set up was spot on.The price was very reasonable. Too reasonable in my opinion considering they didnt charge delivery to Annascaul.From start to finish it was a great experience and I would recommend catering with the Roast House to anyone and I would like to thank Linda for all her help.

Myself and my fiancé visited here on a rainy morning. The staff were lovely and friendly and the prices were very reasonable. We both loved our stop here and will definitely come back again!

The first time in the city, I stopped with fiancé for a breakfast, we had a great experience, staffs really friendly, nice food and a really great coffee.

It was an overall ok experience. Tables are small and no room for much on the table. Food was average and service was also average.

I’ve been here many times and I love the food! Sadly this one star review is for an extra charge. I got a salad today and I was charged an extra €3 to “create a salad” in other words- €3 for lettuce! It would be the equivalent of going to super value and asking for a roll, being told it’s €3.95 and then giving the customer a receipt for €6.95 with a charge for the bread- scandalous altogether! Sadly it has left a sour taste and I won’t be returning. Also it didn’t stipulate this charge anywhere which is very unprofessional for an established business, very disappointing!

A very warm, comfortable cafe with amazing food and great staff.

Just had the most amazing lunch there. Took my girlfriend there for lunch and asked her to marry me. Chose here because it was where we had our very first date. Staff were incredible...they reserved the seats we had for our first date. The food was amazing. Great value and massive portions...they were really helpful because they knew what I had planned for my girlfriend and added some nice little touches...like a heart on the top of her coffee. As we left they even gave us a bottle of wine as a present to celebrate getting engaged. I can not rate this place highly enough. I wish I could give it 100 stars. Quality food, brilliant staff, fantastic atmosphere.

Far too expensive for what it is. Dublin prices. Coffee is fine, deserts are fine, staff are nice, but nothing special. If you are going to charge top money, you need to deliver a much higher standard...sorry, but I probably wont be back.

This place promotes discrimination, inequality & they refused ppl with disability entrance with no mask. Demanding private medical records to prove disability is in breach of GDPR..The roast house & Linda will be sued.

A terrific friendly place, buzzing with atmosphere, where the menu is enticing and inventive, and great pride seems to be taken in sourcing, preparing and presenting first class food to suit all tastes and wallets. Highly recommended!

Without a doubt our favourite cafe in Tralee. A high standard of food and quality coffee. The gentleman who has often served us is professional and efficient. Highly recommend The Roast House.

I go to the roast ever time I am home from the Uk. I couldnt say enough great things about this beautiful place. Staff outstanding amazing services, food fresh and very very tasty. I went at Christmas great Covid guildlines adhered and great take away service. Would I recommend this place defo 100%.

Not going to lie to you; the food is great (seriously), the coffee is spot on, and the staff are friendly and helpful. If youre looking for a nice place for a coffee break or a meal you should definitely consider calling in to The Roast House.

I got the BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich, my partner got the caesar salad sandwich, we got 2 cappuccino and a takeaway brownie and passionfruit cheesecake. The food is delicious, arrived to us piping hot and quickly. Coffee was light and frothy and delicious. The desserts, however, were outstanding! The staff informed us they were homemade fresh every day and you can taste it! Cant recommend highly enough. Very nice staff too. Bathrooms and restaurant sparkling clean.

A busy spot! This is where the local solicitors and well-to-doers meet up & for good reason! The food here is good, tea is passable and (from those who enjoy itthe coffee is great. Nice range of desserts available to enjoy here too.

Have eaten here a few times and keep going back. The food is fantastic and always a good choice for everyone, desserts are amazing ( try their pecan piehowever their coffee is phenomenally good as the beans are roasted in house. This is a gem and well worth the visit, you won’t be disappointed

Yet again another great place to dine in Tralee, had breakfast 4 of us and everyone was happy, you will have to wait to get a table, but the wait is worth it 👍👍👍

Food is simply delicious...Brown bread/soup/chowder to die for...and not expensive....Id love bit more fish in chowder but great flavour and well priced

nice place where to enjoy breakfast with pleasant staff, prices comparable with other similar places where to eat. would recommend maybe to add more light to back area of the restaurant as it was a little bit dark there, otherwise we enjoyed and will come again

One of the best breakfast I have had in a while. Its one of the more popular places in Tralee for breakfast and lunch and its easy to see why.Staff efficient and menu varied and extensive. Will be back when next in the area.

We had the falafel, which actually didnt have anything to do with real falafel. It was a bitter and nasty gooewy substance, heated up to room temp (not hotin a microwave. Maybe its a good idea to stick with selling meat if you havent got a clue how to assemble a proper vegetarian dish..Want to taste good falafels? Try Umis in Cork. They know what theyre doing!Staff was fine :-)

Great spot, one of the best cafes in Kerry! Great food as well as there home roasted coffee. Not the cheapest but worth it.

Had the best double espresso I ever had! Very friendly staff. The apple pecan pie was sooooo nice.

the cup I was given for my tea had coffee stains and coffee sitting at the bottom, ordered the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup but received a small splash of maple syrup on top and none on the side unlike how you would get in other places, also very little bacon despite paying extra for it, service was alright the young woman with the peircings was lovely but the lady in the black shirt was quite rude and abrupt, threw the menu on the table when we asked for one, very poor attitude. Overall the pancakes were nice.

I recently paid a visit to the Roast House, which proved to be a very enjoyable experience. It was extremely busy and I had to queue for about 20 minutes for a table. However, the staff were very helpful and courteous and 1was seated fairly quickly. Their was a wide variety of options on the menu and the food was delicious. We stayed for quite a while, enjoying a glass of wine in pleasant surroundings. I would definitely recommend it.

Voted for having some of the best coffee in Ireland. You can sit in or take out. Very clean, and fantastic staff. Drop in when you are in Tralee you will not be disappointed

The is a beacon for good food and coffee in Tralee.Superb menu, fantastic coffee which is roasted in house. Not bitter and so freshly ground. Not to mention that the start are second to none. They are all the same as when I discovered the place 2 years ago. I always take this as a sign of a good boss and work environment.Any excuse to go to Tralee so I can stop off here 😀
