55 Shepherds Bush Rd, Hammersmith, London W6 7LU, Buy
Traditional pub with an island bar, wooden dado panelling, a pool table and TVs showing live sport.
This bar is a favourite of my wife we normally have a few drinks here on a Sunday if we are going for a buffet at a local Indian restaurant, the staff are very friendly and very welcoming, helpful, on a sunny day its nice to sit outside the regulars are also very friendly.the only down side about sitting out side are the beggars asking for money or and cigarettes. But well worth a visit
Good post match pub with a nice atmosphere and good beer selection
This is a great pub with friendly staff. They have outdoor seating, a pool table and sports viewing inside. I was visiting from Ireland and was surprised that they did let my guinness settle before topping off as it should. Well done guys.
Great pints here, nice big bar.
Just changed ownership and apparently Guinness is poured different in England!Another good Irish bar lost to crudness.
The Richmond..old school pub..friendly staff, a real home from home 5*
Friendly staffA good atmosphere π
Great pub nice location and friendly bar staff definitely use again
Nice big pub with pool table and live sports. Great outside seating area and friendly staff.
Cheap beer and good attention! There are some billar tables inside!
A very good pub
The pizza is nice an cheap, itβs very comfortable to sit here and have a couple drinks.
Been drinking in here for years, staff always welcoming, quick service and atmosphere is always pleasant
Local quite pub, with great beer :)
Nice pub π π, boy do they sell a lot of pizza π π π π π π
Great wee pub very friendly staff and great selection of food and drink well worth the money
Great pub run by genuine people. Pool tables are a laugh too!!!
Nice local place, two pool tables, mostly people from the neighborhood.
Good bar. Good prices. Great bar staff. Really good watched man city in Europe. Will go again.
Lovely pub with friendly staff! I only wish they had more options for food but their pizzas will get the job done.
Enjoyed drinking here for many years. Great to see its still got it! Looking forward to the pool tables coming back!
Lovely pub, lovely staff, good choice of lagers, would defo recommend
Great pub! Nice vibe, good lager. Love to go there and read a book or watch a game. And if youβre hungry the pizza is decent!
Absolutely disgusting venue, 5 of us, we done track and trace on our phones as entered venue, we had no problem signing track and trace book either, we was told after I informed them of the law of refusing us a service was illegal, we was told yes you can sit outside in the rain at 8.50 pm . We have just left a lovely little greek restaurant and thought we would have a couple of drinks and provide the inn keeper with some much need financial revenue in this dark time, your looking at minimum Β£40 in the till. Eventually after much disagreement the fascist land lady decided she would let us sit inside, oh praise be the Lord oh righteous one...We decided that she didnt deserve our hard earn cash and went back to our lovely comfortable hotel for a night cap.. boycott this establishment, as a group we are all exempt from mask wearing, we suffered harassment as to our exempt issue, which was demanded, yet again illegal. I hope you dont suffer the same humiliation and derogatory attack that we received from this ill informed uneducated land lady and staff , one girl young so total understand her anxiety in the situation and the other girl( thing, not sure what it wasin green who was like an excited monkey in a zoo at feeding time. No manners rude rude rude
Me and my good friends Noel Buxton, Terence Travis, Toby Dickens, and Gordon M Tinckler love to come here for a little tipple or two. We find it extremely accommodating.
Very nice pub, friendly staff, good football on the telly, you can relax or play some pool or darts
Really like this pub. The last bastion of the old fashioned shepherds Bush boozers. Cheap pints, pool tables and lots of sports on the box.
No frills spot with good beer and lots of TVs
Really enjoyed this place. It happened to be nearby our hotel when visiting the area. Bartenders were very kind and the Guinness on tap was fantastic. I would recommend checking this place out.
Nice, cozy pub. Great Guinness
Super quiet on a Friday night. Cheap as chips for a zone 2 pub, and in a nice area(ishbetween Hammersmith and Shepherds Bush. The whisky (and lagerselection is limited but theres pool tables if you wanna feel like youre in a 90s youth club - if thats your bag. Overall, much better pubs in the area but at a premium.
Lovely local nice people great bar staff all sports screens all round pub and a bonus lovely Pizzas and great beers
Went a few months ago. Had been out shopping and stopped for a drink and some food. We brought in an empty reusable coffee cup and the barmaid took it upon herself to steal if from our table and throw it in the bin, arguing that it could have had alcohol in it. It was clearly empty, it cost around Β£30 and it had considerable sentimental value. I would have understood if she simply asked to check the contents and have us put it away but to steal and dispose of someones private property right under their nose was beyond unnecessary. She was rude and argumentative when I asked her to retrieve it from the bin. If you ever go, keep an eye on your things because they might end up in the bin.
Nowt wrong with this neighbourhood boozer. Friendly staff, good guiness and they showed the rugby with sound. Canβt comment on food but saw a frozen pizza become a cooked pizza in mere minutes.
We pretty do enjoy this lovely pub : cozy, full of space spanned across different "atmospheres" (pool tables, darts or living room with TV sets), couple of local ales and others beers and lagers, its crew is very nice and friendly. They accept dogs also :-)
This pub is not my cup of tea but it has a lot of good point. Good selection of beer, pool table, Tvs for sport lovers and very nice staff. There are some tables outside for smokers and they are dog friendly.
Great hand pumped beers, cosy lounge and separate sports area. Outdoor bbq table seating on the street. Was lovely and sunny when I was there. The pub also has an Irish flavour, and shows Gaelic football regularly. I heard the owners are Irish. I didnt try the food, but the service was friendly and prompt. A great little local.
A proper pub, decent beer at reasonable (for London!prices. Its not a foodie place, nor is it trying to be - though the pizzas smelled pretty good! Sport on the TV and a friendly atmosphere. All good!
I like this pub. It is a well run pub with a good Irish landlord. It is not a restaurant. It does beer and it does beer very well, with friendly efficient staff. Oh, and they have lots of TV screens for the sport. Beer, sport no food (apart from the odd pizza). A proper pub, pure and simple.
Great pub for sports plus 2 pool tables. One to go to if wanting a a good pint while watching the match. Cant comment on the food as I havent eaten there yet. Staff were very pleasant and informed
Cosy pub, good pints of Guinness. They sell Hop House 13 on draft too if you are into it. No thrills but one of my favourite pubs in the area, never any trouble there. Three or four big screens and they generally show football, rugby and GAA. They also have two pool tables. They serve only Chicago town pizzas for food. The staff are always really friendly.
Good pub, I live in Stockport and so Im in this pub cos Im working away. However unlike other reviewers I cant say that Β£4.25 for a Strongbow is reasonable but I expect to pay more in London so I can live with it. Recommended π
Great pub, two quality pool tables, plenty of tvs for sports, pizzas are amazing and they pour a pretty decent Guinness!
Great little pub with good beer. Friendly bar staff and Emmas just cooked me a delicious pizza for tea little diamond she is π
Great pub, prices were reasonable. Kept the menu simple, π to eat in our takeaway, great projector screen for live sports with some nice ales on tap.
Proper pub. No frills even though theyve just had a repaint... great atmosphere, very friendly staff and perfect place to take the office after a long week. Pool tables too! Never thought id see that in a pub nowdays.... cannot recommend it enough for real old school pub goers. A proper battleship cruiser
I give this a 3 star simply because its a real pub. Beer, pool tables, sports on the box and a sense of localism. We are straying too far from originality, and this place speaks volumes. If youre a bistro occupant, not the place for you.
True local pub. Cheep beer, nice staff. Something London really lacks. Beer selection is quite standard. Id probably recommend replacing 1-2 lagers with something else.
Quite possibly the best gastro pub in London. The Guinness is to die for and the artwork on the wall is only rivalled by the national portrait gallery. If Irish sport is your bag you wont be dissapointed everything from hurling to Gaelic football is represented here. As for the customers, the people here are simply wonderful, diverse and able to hold their drink extremely well. The only thing missing from this picturesque establishment is a theatre but honestly speaking on a Saturday night after Queens Park Rangers have lost it is pure theatre. Last thing to say is if you ever dreamed of the finest toilets Britains pubs have to offer, youve never visited the Richmond.
Been going there for the last three months is a great old fashioned pub nice verify of beer most of all the staff are wonderful and blessed and the people I will look forward to go there again and againRegardsManny
