Melody was absolutely brilliant and gave us the best birthday experience

Went there few times, courtyard garden with Flamingos and waters features is beautiful, the best fried calamari ever, would go back again & again just for that treat :)

This is my 4th time here and the staff are lovely! Breakfast buffet has plenty options to everyone’s tastes and they are happy to accommodate for special wishes as well! See you soon !

This place is absolutely amazing. The sanderson itself is worth a trip to London. The staff is super nice and the food delicious. But the icing on the cake is the beautiful decor and the little garden they have. If you have time, give this a visit definitely!!

Alice in Wonderland Afternoon Tea (2017):Dit was helemaal geweldig, het kost niet weinig, maar je krijgt absoluut waar voor je geld. Alles was in het thema van Alice in Wonderland, Drinkme-drankje en Eat me-cakejes, ook cakejes met schaakstukjes op, ... het was super!Personeel is ook vriendelijk en je hebt keuze uit 5 speciale thees die je waarschijnlijk nog nooit gedronken hebt.En al je jarig bent, krijg je er nog een extra cakeje bij!Het was heel schattig!This was awesome, its not cheap, but its so, so worth it! Everything was themed Alice in Wonderland; a drink me-drink, little eat-me-cake, ... just fantastic. The waiters are very friendly en enthousiastic!

Como me estaba hospedada en el hotel varios dias, comi varias veces en el restaurant, dos veces me pedi la carne, que seria el plato que mas recomiendo del menu acompañaba por una ensalada caprese, otro dia pedi el pollo y no me lo pude comer, estaba relleno con verduras y especies de sabor muy fuerte y pedi una ensalada que venia con un aderezo de salsa de soja que estaba tan salado que era incomestible.Respecto a el desayuno, la mayoria de dias pedi la tostada con aguacate y huevo que estaban muy ricas, otro dia el omelet con claras de huevo que sabia mucho a leche y mantequilla y por ultimo el yogurt con granola y frutas que enseguida me lo comi me cayo mal al estomago. En realidad si vas a este restaurante iria a lo seguro, cena o lunch carne y desayuno tostadas con aguacate. Por otro lado la atencion es buena y el sitio muy bonito.

Mid week shamblesWhat I can only describe as a utter mess.We booked a table for a birthday dinner - they had a special offer for 50% off food for showcasing a new chef. My view based on all elements:The venue - really lovely vibe but very cold. It was warmer outside. We asked the waitress to address the temperature. Nothing happened.The staff - not sure what they were doing too be honest. There was so many of them yet it took us 30 mins to get a spirits menu and forever for our drinks to even turn up. The only beverage menu they provide is wine and cocktails. The waitress couldnt tell you what dishes had dairy or what dishes didnt (the menu had about 8 starters and main courses). When I placed my order for fillet, she didnt bother asking how I wanted my meat cooked??? Definitely some training needed I feel.The food - well. what a mess. Everything was absolutely drenched in salt.Starters were - octopus and burrata - both were so so salty. The octopus was overcooked, salty, burnt and cold.For main course I had fillet steak - which basically was rare (not medium rare which I ordered). It was cold and salty.We also had the sea bass and the cod - both were cold and salty.We ordered the steamed veg which was also cold, when we asked to have some warm veg they put the veg in the microwave and sent it back.We got to the point where we were really disappointed with cold, salty, overcooked food. We told the waitress and the manager came over and insisted all the food was recooked. And no surprise here - the food came back on a warmer plate....however it was luke warm and salty.What a mess. Considering this was supposedly profiling a new chef it was pretty terrible.All we got offered was a free drinks round and I wasnt even drinking.Lack luster staff. Busy doing nothing. Pretty awful food. 5* star hotel. I can without a doubt say we will not be going back.

Mad Hatters tea was a great experience. Lovely courtyard setting with Flamingos and water features. Very busy so booking is essential. Great for groups or couples. Fabulous good, great selection of savoury bites and sandwiches and cakes were to die for. The tea selection is based on characters from Alice in wonderland and were superb. One of my favourite afternoon teas in London!

Went today for the mad hatters afternoon tea and it was amazing!! From the minute we entered the hotel the lovely man on the door greeted us and was very helpful to the waiter and waitress serving us that were so attentive!! Food was fabulous and service was superb!! Such good value and a wonderful experience.

Service was rotten. 2.5hrs for a 3 course meal. And it wasnt because the food was sitting on our table waiting for us. 20 mins before server even came to the table! 1 hour wait for a little 1x1 square of chocolate moose!!!! Rotten. Never come here again!!!!

Great Mad Hatters afternoon tea but building entrance is very outdated.

Went there yesterday for the Mad Hatters tea party. The staff was very friendly and made sure we were treated well. The food looked and tasted great. The jelly selection didnt really taste great.. but everything else was fine! Overall it was a good experience!

I went to The Sanderson for the "Mad Hatters Tea Party" afternoon tea. The food was excellent. The rhubarb and custard flavour tea was amazing.

The rooms, gym & bar are all excellent. Service at the bar can be pretty slow at times, but the food & drinks available throughout are good.

The Sanderson is a very well-known hotel in London; Amy Winehouse and her boyfriend were papped outside here after a week-long binge which gives it a bit of rock n roll glamour. The interior design is very stylized which seems to attract a certain type of person - think guys in snazzy suits and women with *very* high heels. The rooms themselves are lovely, although you dont get much privacy in the bathroom and when I visited in the height of the summer the air conditioning was less than efficient. Great location though.

A very design orientated hotel. Some great artistic pieces - the red lips chair and bubble seat. zebra seat in the pool room. The rooms are very neutral looking ie white, lovely swan chairsBreakfast in fabulous but expensive £25

Went there 2 weeks ago.No complaints really. Food was excellent, service was excellent. The place is in the hotel which is not apparent when youre standing outside.Some of the best satay the wife and I have had.Well recommended for Malaysian food, albeit its not cheap.

Stayed here for 4 nights on business and pleasure. A fantastic place with professional staff.
